    On the vaillant if you reset the boiler you can press the top right to get the digital pressure gauge up and the pressure changes when the pump kicks in unless pump is stuck or the low pressure switch is blocked

    As someone who is about to start my gas safe course this video is very helpful to get some understanding and perspective about how to repair and overcome problems with domestic properties

    That track pipe probably got splashed by flux on a part where the yellow sleeve had a nick in it

    Nice work. I, too, work as a maintenance engineer, and it's great to see other engineers take such pride in their work. With the baxi filter, you can take them out and clean them from my experience, and also, with the synchro motor, you can just replace the motor, and it can save a lot of time. Great video, though.

    • @advancedboilertraining
      @advancedboilertraining  Рік тому +2

      Yeah I’ve managed to take the filter out in the past but this one was like it was super glued it. It was much quicker/easier to change the whole valve

    On diverter valves, I always change them as they tend to leak again and that would save me from a recall. Not that expensive part

    I've just done my ACS. On the training for track pipe, they said if you solder with the track pipe connected, the flux vapour can corrode the inside of the track pipe. Not sure if that's what happened here but maybe

    • @advancedboilertraining
      @advancedboilertraining  Рік тому +3

    • @advancedboilertraining

    • @elliotwilliams7421
      @elliotwilliams7421 Рік тому +2

      @@advancedboilertraining any from the TIS range, sure toolstation does them.
      Your pen proved voltage, not how much and it can't confirm your neutral.
      Better with voltage testers that show voltage, ac and dc and allows you to confirm a whole circuit via live to neutral

    Do you put sealant along with the Fibre washers?
    That Wiring Centre would have been the PERFECT time to use the Regin Block Connector, no way would I start removing wires in there.
    Amazed you didnta insta rip off the plastic from the Vaillant display, always do if i see them still on.

    love the uploads, just one bit of advice, don't use that deathdriver to test for power.....as the only part stopping severe voltage shooting in you is the resistor, and they can fail. keep up the good work tho.
