      There was a company called The Boiler Medic based near Basildon that did do it, not sure if they still do but might be worth a call to them

      Starting your ACS? Are you currently doing your MLP? Completed first stage of MLP?

    Couple of tips…. If I may. On the vaillant job, canoe filter. Once filled, put the boiler into vent mode for 5 mins before firing it. And put heating on first so can circulate any excess air not removed. If you run HW first it could overheat if air trapped and wreck thermal fuse. On the Viessman.. if the isolation valves are prone to leaks, take the pressure off the valves before you isolate them which will help when you isolate them. Put hose on and start draining. Once pressure has dropped then isolate valve. It will help the orings inside the valves, as they won’t be under pressure when you move them. Other than that nice work. You definitely get my vote for best one handed work.

    Great video, I liked the one with the products of combustion leak, I'm a fan with these type of heat exchanges like engine blocks, the one you see in some worcester and valliant boilers. Yes they are heavy but I've rearlly seen issues like cracks etc.

    if you see a little bit water in the air valve doesn't mean the vessel is dead.....fill it with air anyways... if you hear "bubbles" while you pumping air in,the vessel is dead for sure.....sometimes small drops of water are "born" inside....because of the air humidity....

    Great video mate, that job with the main heat exchanger is a massive help, need to change the washer under the sump of the heat exchanger on my own boiler at home and have been putting it off for weeks because I’ve never stripped down this model before. Very helpful video mate 👍🏼

    Heating geek said in one of his videos.. if you drain the pressure before isolating the valves then they should leak.. they usually leak when shut off under pressure.. that's how I do it now and works 99.9% of the time

      What do you mean? Drain the boiler down and then isolate the boile?

    • @strongbow310
      @strongbow310 Рік тому

      Just don't drain a boiler by the prv as most of the time it will leak

    Impressive! You made it look so easy on that ' Main boiler'. Always dread of stripping it down. I would rather strip greenstar junior down than Main Boiler. You're a legend mate

      I've never had issues when using Allen key, all of the stripped valves I've come across are caused by flat head screwdrivers 😂

    Hi mate Do you always have to change a prv if it’s discharging due to flat or faulty expansion ? Doesn’t always mean the prv is faulty right. Great video mate
