Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make an Apple Crumble Pie. I love Apple Pie. And I love an Apple Crisp. If you combine the two you get this Apple Crumble Pie. This pie has a buttery crisp pastry crust on the bottom which is topped with thin slices of apples coated in a delicious apple syrup. The pie is then sprinkled with a sweet and buttery crumble mixture.

I make this pie yesterday, it was my 2nd time to make an apple pie, and yes I use apple juice, and it turns perfect, sooooo yummy!!!!!! I followed every steps how u make it, and yesyesyes my husband says, 10/10.

tried it Friday, did the same recipe except for the crust (i got my own), so perfect and the next day even better really different when it sits 24 H. the cooking time for me 37 mn ( thankfully i checked). Big thanks for this and all your precise and exhaustive explanations and for the conversion of the us measurements.

Good evening Joy, love your receipt for apple pie especially how you make the sauce and pour on top of apples. My late mom used to cook the apples in the sauce and than add brandy or a bit rum and raisins. My problem is the pie crust. I still have not perfected it. It usually crumbles when ready to roll? I use exactly the same measurements and ingredients for flaky pie dough. No flaky but rather tough. I don’t have a food processor but everything else I do. I watched my mom do it and still a failure. I can make the best bread by hand and no machine and yet a simple pie crust I fail at it. I’ve seen recipes with oil and no butter or shortening. Oil looks easy but don’t know if it has flakiness or good taste. You are the best little lady. ❤️

Omg i tried this today and it was amazing! I didn't have apple juice or apple concentration, so I made custard sauce instead. So yummy 10 out of 10. :P

I just used your recipe, with a few tweaks: and I made them into tarts using a muffin tray... And I used oats to make the crumble with a little flour to help bind it...oh boy is it ever tasty 😍 that Apple sauce is golden! My family loves it! Thanks so much 😊 #NewSubbie
