tried it Friday, did the same recipe except for the crust (i got my own), so perfect and the next day even better really different when it sits 24 H. the cooking time for me 37 mn ( thankfully i checked). Big thanks for this and all your precise and exhaustive explanations and for the conversion of the us measurements.

I just used your recipe, with a few tweaks: and I made them into tarts using a muffin tray... And I used oats to make the crumble with a little flour to help bind it...oh boy is it ever tasty 😍 that Apple sauce is golden! My family loves it! Thanks so much 😊 #NewSubbie God bless 💖

I've never tried peach crumble before so made one last night. I'm not sure if I did the crumble right because it was pretty soft when baked. is it supposed to be crispy. It tasted amazing though.
Hi you said in the video if we don’t have frozen apple juice use regular and double the amount and boil and it will reduce. What would happen if we used the same amount of regular apple juice? Will it not work? Your recipes are my favorite so I would like to know in order to make this

Stephanie, can you make a pie crust one of these times, using a pastry blender instead of the food processor? If you are just learning the art of pie making, which would you use? I haven't (I know, am I living in this century?) used a food processor before, so I wouldn't know how many pulses to give anything? Can you take it back to "Pie Making for Dummies?" LOL....I need instruction.

I* have been making this pie for about 35 years but I used white sugar. In the fall I make the crumbly topping ahead of time and freezing it ahead of time. I make a lot of Apple Pies in the fall; & give them away to friends & Family.

My late mom used to cook the apples in the sauce and than add brandy or a bit rum and raisins. My problem is the pie crust. I still have not perfected it. It usually crumbles when ready to roll? I use exactly the same measurements and ingredients for flaky pie dough. No flaky but rather tough. I don’t have a food processor but everything else I do. I watched my mom do it and still a failure. I can make the best bread by hand and no machine and yet a simple pie crust I fail at it. I’ve seen recipes with oil and no butter or shortening. Oil looks easy but don’t know if it has flakiness or good taste. You are the best little lady. ❤️
