Can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have photography videos that don’t have a Neisat soundtrack and poor content. This stuff is always so polished, informative and truly entertaining Nick.
10 minutes and 42 seconds of pure, unadulterated bliss.. Thank you for that Nick, UA-cam just isn't the same without your wit, photography and awesome soundtracks.. missed you man!
slept at mobius arch so many times in the last 3 years, always motorcycle trips, full camera gear. the height of my youth. stumbled across your channel while looking for printing topics. very good content!
The Power Pose! Fun stuff, definitely liked the experimental shot. It really was dramatic and a little different. Always enjoy and look forward to your videos.
Thanks for another visit to the Hills, Nick. The dark “not boring” mountains with deep blue skies is cool...mission accomplished. Lol with your ending pose! “Go West Young Man!”
Hey Nick, just wanted to drop by and tell you how much I appreciate your videos. Because of you, I bought my first film camera and learned to process and scan my own film. Thanks for the inspiration!
The things you say on these trips are the things I’ve found mumbling to myself all the years! Cheers mate, watching you doing your mundane is refreshing to say the least, maybe because you are so honest doing what you do, its almost like self talk
No drones, no fancy schmantzy music. Just down to earth photography and quality watchable content delivered in a down to earth style I really like. More plz. Isn't it velv-yer and not velv-eeeeah? See - internet people are crap :)
I love the Alabama Hills! Seeing those images of Lone Pine Peak and Whitney makes be feel that it's time for a road trip. Thanks for that Nick. Have you tried the White Mountains? Close by with some awesome views and Bristle-Cone pines. Lots of iconic photos from there.....
if I ever find a steal for the tilt shift adapter I'll have to pick one up for my RZ. Love the aesthetic of the neuraled knob sticking out the top of the adapter.
of all the film photographers i follow on youtube, your pictures are easily my favorite. seriously, keep posting videos of your travels and pictures. you inspire me so much, seeing as i just recently picked up film photography, and even more recently medium format film photography. pleeeeease keep creating and posting videos (more often)
Every video you upload is just therapeutic. You have a certain style that's very different and you also upload once in a blue moon which makes the videos even more worth watching and makes them better because of the wait.
There's a feel good vibe to your videos man! And they are inspirational, massively informative and slick, slick like wonderfully shot and edited. It's art about art Nick Carver and thank you for that.
Just finding your videos at the right time, man. Your videography skills are as superb as your photography. It's great taking the journey with you while you do your shoots. I can relate to your successes and failures. I like to throw your videos on while drinking a nice beer and doing some editing. Keeps me in the positive mood. Shooting up here in the Bay Area, but I'm a Socal native.
9:10. Amen brother. Really enjoyable video, just wanted to congratulate you on the shots you got out of something you were not really excited about in the first place....
When a new Nick Carver video shows up on your subscription playlist you know you're in for a treat. Great content with that quirky sense of humor that just makes me laugh and have fun. The talent Nick have for creating amazing images and enjoyable content is amazing. Btw.. it was an epic pose in the end :D.... Imagine that pose on a rugged harsh stone cluttered location in B&W with nice contrast and film grain... haha
Great video with the usual humour that at least makes you smile. Personally I preferred the warmer foreground and cooler background, but it’s always to see someone using the proper filters.
Hey Nick, I'm happy to finally see something of you and your Shen Hao again! The clips are very worth seeing and as always insperating! Greetings from Germany, Seb
There is something therapeutic about these videos. I'm not sure if it's the ritual of light meter then the steps of loading film or what but each video has me locked on till it ends.
As you passed through Bishop did you notice if Galen Rowell's Mountain Light Gallery was still there or not? I heard it was closing. Hate to see it go - Galen was a great photographer and teacher -- and hard to keep up with at altitude.
Oh man! There's nothing like sitting down at my computer drinking a glass of red wine and watching a new Nick Carver video! Cheers man!
Gaetan Cormier that's what I like to hear. Cheers!
Maybe a glass of scotch instead?
Exactly Gaetan.
Gaetan Cormier Doing this in 2020, and I cannot believe its accurate AF
Can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have photography videos that don’t have a Neisat soundtrack and poor content. This stuff is always so polished, informative and truly entertaining Nick.
Ben Whitmore oh man you're speaking my language. Really glad to hear someone appreciates the rare non-Neistat approach. Thank you!
X10!
You are someone who makes his job meticulous and high quality. The results (photos) should not surprise anyone.
10 minutes and 42 seconds of pure, unadulterated bliss.. Thank you for that Nick, UA-cam just isn't the same without your wit, photography and awesome soundtracks.. missed you man!
Nick! We’ve missed you brother! Love your videos! Please keep posting
Greg Kent thank you!
You "happened to be here" but brought 4 cameras! Love it. Always enjoy the commentary. Thanks Nick.
I am not a film photography guy, but I love your story telling and video editing, and you are a very natural teacher. Cheers. Hope to see more Nick.
6:43 Well, it's still outstanding. Wonderful image.
More Nick Carver! UA-cam needs a guy like you. 😎

Yes yes yes! Best stuff to watch while eating breakfast!
No drones, no fancy schmantzy music. Just down to earth photography and quality watchable content delivered in a down to earth style I really like. More plz.
Isn't it velv-yer and not velv-eeeeah? See - internet people are crap :)
Yup, I took the same picture of Mobius Arch and my local gallery selected it for a show. Helps to be 2800 miles away!
Oh yeah... love me some Alabama Hills with Captain Nick!
Love the work you put into your videos, the small details like the opening shot having to set the camera up in the dark. Amazing as always man!
I am glad you are back!

I love the Alabama Hills! Seeing those images of Lone Pine Peak and Whitney makes be feel that it's time for a road trip. Thanks for that Nick.
