Now that we have reached our destination in Indonesia, it has been a nice feeling too slow down and relax a little. The contrast of life in a remote far out anchorage in our very own paradise, compared to the hustle and bustle of the year is a rewarding feeling and one we have enjoyed sharing.
We have been travelling with 2 extra crew members, Nick and Kelsey… we first got these guys onboard to assist with the sail across from Malaysia as Bonita was still recovering from surgery, bu now that we have arrived and explored the islands a little, it is time to bid our farewells to the crew.
Whilst Nandji II has been giving us a few challenges along the way, moving forward, it is time for us a family to become confident in handling our boat ourselves and enjoy this time together cruising the west sumatran islands of Indonesia

Great family oriented channel. Jooh, you are talented, hard working sailor, but your hidden talent is judging people. You picked the perfect sole mate. Beautiful, smart, and hard working. Togeather, the two of you have built a geat looking sailing home, but the conceiving of Tulula will be a mountain that will be hard to top. I smile ever time I see her on the videos. Good stuff. Spewin about losing that fish. A trick I have seen cruisers do for a very tasty fish treat is to get them small tins of coconut milk/cream and mix a few teaspoons of some tinned asian curry into it and wrap in a foil boat and put on coals. Restaurant quality eating right there. cheers.

Get a lime tree that has limes and then you all can be limies. Which they use to call people who were on boats sailing long distance. Limes you can eat to get vitamin c and more.
Wasabi is good. But, Wasabi mixed with soy sauce is amazing !

You took a dog. On a boat and then complain that hes upset. I can only. Imagine being taken away. From other dogs and solid land... Dogs are really bad with boats and bridges dude.
That dog is called Marley and dogs get upset on land or on the water. Marley is happiest next to us where ever that is. He has sailed for 7 years so not sure what we are taking him away from

My two cents worth is hating to see you loose a nice fish. I have seen more sailors loose fish the same way by not bringing the boat to a stand still and working the fish in. Is it too much trouble to head up into the wind for a few minutes in order to land a nice meal?
