In this episode, we are back in Australia for the Christmas/New Year holidays. We have packed up Nandji II in Thailand and headed to Kangaroo Island to visit family.

When I was in Australia 30 years ago, I had kangaroo, it was very tasty. I enjoyed every bite and next time in Australia, it is on the menu. Tallula is a lucky little girl, she has seen more before the age of 5 than most adults. For her, the grand adventure is just starting.

Love the land yacht, it really suits you guys. Maybe you could do some more ‘land’ adventures along with your sailing ones from time to time. Brought back lots of memories of KI holidays and reminded me of how stunningly beautiful it is there.

Good old tapleys Hill is always a struggle - it's so steep. I'm an Adelaide boy, so it is all familiar territory..!! I sailed over to Amreican River a few times, too.

What a great video! It’s so nice to see you guys so happy & healthy! Things started changing when you got the new Boat & they just kept getting better! The Music was pretty cool too! Those plastic tracks are for getting un-stuck in mud, sand or snow from what I’ve seen in the primitive campgrounds but they may be for leveling too. You never said what happened about that though, did you find air shocks or anything else to use to get level? Was it great or what? I’ve never stayed in one that big, it was like a tiny house on wheels, OR …..a Boat in the water!!😂

cool video sort of different being on land rather than water. Camper van was a great choice. Hopefully once you return it and you clean it before return, they won't charge you a cleaning fee. Here in Canada same rules, you must bring back clean and fueled up. However, they always find a way to add in the extra cost of cleaning fees and fuel saying it wasn't up to their rental companies' standards plus at their fuel pumps they top off as much as they can and charge you basically double than what a gas station would.

Great see you in SA, I live in Adelaide Northern suburbs but originally from the hills. In KI just as in SA wild cats are a big problem to wildlife😢. My wife and I have been thinking about buying a RV to travel and would love to hear your pro’s and con’s with driving holiday. Where we live we get Kangaroos in the back paddock

We always stop in at Smokey Bay and grab a dozen oysters always when we cross the Nullabor las lot was so fresh we had to wait the farmer was getting them off the rack. BTW KI’s on the bucket list to visit was looking at it this time las year on our road trip absolutely beautiful that neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing..
Such a coincidence. We are currently traveling in our own Winnebago VIEW model very similar to yours! Th3 Sprinter chassis is indeed a great platform for motor homes and we so happy you kids got to experience that!

Koalas are very quick and agile in a tree, on the ground, that’s about as fast they go 😂

Absolutely I eat Kangaroo. It would be much better for the environment if we all ate native food to Australia. Farming cows and sheep are destroying our environment in Australia.
