      Thanks I just try to fix my own equipment it is so expensive to have it repaired. I have found that if you understand how it works you can find what part is not working. Keep watching and stay safe.

    Did you gap the coils
    Because your old coils were touching the fly wheel in that case you well never get spark

    • @OmFishing
      @OmFishing  6 років тому

      Yes I did gap the new coils. The old coils where they touch the flywheel wore a place in the magnet and i set the gap before the wore place.

      What did you set the gap to?

    • @OmFishing

      The Ignition coil air gap is 0.25 - 0.40 mm or 0.010 - 0.016 in.

    Sure sounds like the valves need adjusting ? Do you do adjust them at normal intervals ?

    • @OmFishing
      @OmFishing  4 роки тому +1

    What ended up being the issue? I am having what sounds like a similar issue. My x585 will run for about 30mins depending on temp outside, once it gets to temp it wont stay running, starts to lose power before finally quiting. Let it sit for 10 or 20 mins starts right back up full power and then dies again after it gets to temp.

      My mower will do that if I run gas with ethanol in it. If I don't run a good no ethanol it run like yours. You can forget trying to start it while it is warm.

      I’m curious what your tractors issue ended up being

    • @chevyfan8206
      @chevyfan8206 2 роки тому

      @@biggrantlewis was the tube that is connected to fuel pump inside tank

    kawasaki Twins require premium fuel. 0%Ethanol. hope this helps you but I bet thats your problem.

    Did you run some cleaner in the fuel ?

    • @OmFishing
      @OmFishing  8 років тому +1

      Yes did that first. Right now i am not sure what to do. I am reading the service manual. It seems like the left side cylinder is not getting fuel when the engine reaches operating temperature. What direction would you go from here. I though new injectors? Or check to see if that injector is getting power when at temp?

    • @xmodriver
      @xmodriver 8 років тому

      I would look that wire harness over REAL well for any brakes , that heat up and cause a loss of voltage to the injector ,,, maybe even run a test light from the injector plug to ensure power stays coming to the injector . Thats a start at least

    • @OmFishing
      @OmFishing  8 років тому +1

      +xmodriver good idea I will try that and see what happens
