Glad I just saw this. A few hours ago I'd water propagated dry cuttings. 2 were upside down in water!. Back to drying out (again) those 2 topsy turveys & starting over in 4+ day.
I found this video on purpose lol. I received 4 cuttings from a red dragon fruit and I did the soak in water on a seedling mat. 3 of the 4 began roots after about a week and a half, the other no 🤦♂️. Hand mixed my soil and put them in the dirt. Well 3 of the 4 began growing small nubs not so on the 4th. 🤷♂️ well how was I to know. The 4th is back in the water awaiting roots. I received 2 large yellow cuttings today and wanted to make sure. 😂😂😂 live and learn or smarter yet, watch videos like this. 😊
@@2guysandacooler thank you that would be bad. Can you point me towards any websites, that could help me ?? I’m guessing 16hr on would help with more growth ?
Some may look like roots but are air roots, they will travel downwards towards the soil but are for clinging on stuff and will in fact hit dirt eventually.

Fat side down, but, it would probably be better to start them flat, and barely pressed in the ground. Idk, I haven't grown them yet, haha.
Will dragon fruit benefit from 24hr light cycles indoors ?? For vegetative growth not flower ??
under 24 hour lights the dragon fruit will flower
