@@mikedoingmikethings702 well so does pineapple, many fruits take a long time. Point is he is showing how to grow it. He tells you it takes 1-5 months for him to even replant it, then another 5 months where he is starting to tie it off. It will take approx a year for each cutting to produce its first fruits, then another year or two for full harvests. He probably replants each plant after its first fruits so they can expand.😊 seeds take 2-3 years, this just speeds the process. He is not trying to fool anyone. He shows how if he puts them together they will all give one fruit. After that is when they really give many to each plant. He isn’t fooling anyone, or trying to at least. Don’t skip through it on fast forward you will see he shows how many months between each part. It can take up to one year to get fruits from cuttings.

Funny though pineapple takes two years and I don’t think it’s as expensive at all. Maybe because it’s usually grown from the tops of pineapple plants? Good question though!
I don’t recommend using tires near food. They are known to leech heavy metals and other chemicals (research this online, lots of info). Having a tire near the roots like this would allow the plant to potentially uptake some of those chemicals dispersing them in the fruit. Tires in the garden, in general, have risks. Best to use them elsewhere so when they leech their nasties you won’t be likely to ingest them.
Microplastics are probably a bigger concern with tires than heavy metals. Still, great idea to research. Would love it if you added some links to the further information.
The quality of your videos is truly impressive! Not just the content, but the way you present it is so engaging and easy to follow. I hope you continue sharing more useful farming tips 4:46
The only thing I wouldn't recommend is using an old or new tires since they will degrade and release chemical toxins into your soils which your plants going to absorbed. To reduce that risk you should be lining the tires with plastic.

Its not that easy for a dragon fruit to bear fruit or bloom, to me it took around 3years 😄 when i lost interest of growing it i just let it grow and in surprise it bloomed.
In warm Southern California, it takes about a year to start flowering. It's an ugly plant that crawls everywhere. Plant it in the summer to harvest the following late summer and fall. But the fruit is not as many as what you see here. The flower is beautiful when it opens at night. Plant it in full sun locations only. Try it. It's fun and requires almost no maintenance.

it's wonderful, I'd love to make one during my stay in Asia I have some good advice for you, I deal with permaculture gardening and I'll tell you that you don't pull out weeds because nature knows what it's doing, they grow there to give the plants some nutrients and to appreciate the soil before it dries out. I recommend it to you try leaving them there 🕊️🤍🪽

Vermi compost…aka worm casting, worm poop or black gold. Best compost out there, the black gold from worms…and he probably uses composting teas as well. The liquid that drains out at the bottom, you keep a bucket to collect it to use in Gardena as well. Just remember most fruits can take several years to “fruit”, like pineapples, dragon fruit from cuttings can take a year, (he does mention this) but a full harvest will take 2-3 years in the tropics. First fruits though from cuttings can be a year.
My dad grew them in 3 drums in Atlanta, Georgia climate. It took 3 years to bear fruits. It doesn't need a lot of water (once every 2-3 weeks). The usual fertilizer will do. During the fall, he'll ask me to help push the 3 drums inside his basement. April now and he still hasn't taken them out. So maybe it's still too cold.
