  • For me, breaking my habitual patterns has been excruciatingly difficult. But with patience and practice, it's often possible. Here I share some of the tools that have been most helpful for me in attaining a bit of Prajna; a clear seeing of what is really happening, and how to get out of our storyline.
    With a focus on how to get unstuck from our shempas, and bring awareness to our habitual reactions, I share a 4-step technique Pema Chodron has offered called the 4 R's.

    It’s amazing to view you actually talking in person, after your voice and stories have put me to sleep each night!     I love you Tamara! I'm subscribed on your daily calm app. It was the missing piece to my Echart tolle and Abraham Hicks understandings. I love them both!
    I had meditated for years but you have shown me how to get deeper into meditation.
    And my knowledge has come Alive in Wisdom.

    Amazing video, thank you so much for sharing the insight. Shempa is what I am struggling with right now and I always feel identified with my thoughts so the ideo of letting arise and disolve on their own like birds in the sky is very helpful

    Interesting how her old "just talking" voice is very pleasant, especially compared to her stylized (and sort of sickeningly sweet) reading voice or meditation leading voice. The Calm app would be so much better if she just did the meditations the way she does her plain speaking here. (Not the reading voice either, ick).
