Hi I have an interview tomorrow
This was very very informative.
God bless u! ur the best!
Thank you for all the videos you presented but respectfully asking you to read slides a bit slowly and to highlight the sentences you read with yellow colour to keep listeners engagement instead of typing it in light blue colour down the video which make listeners lose their focus.
CareerVidz Hi, your videos are very informative. How do I contact you for personal assistance or a one on one session? I need this as soon as possible.
I binge watched your interview question videos before my superday for a big bank. I got hired on the SAME DAY I went for the interview and the interviewer said that I 'was an exceptional candidate' and never gave such a high rating to a candidate. THANK YOU SIR for giving me my dream job offer I have waited half a year for this.
That is awesome!
Please would you SUBSCRIBE to my channel? I'd very much appreciate your support. Thank you! Richard 🙏
was it Capital One?

I will like to thank you for all your videos. I have listened to them for 3 days prior to my interview and I just been offered my dream job :)
Thank you so much
Thank for the wealth of information very educational and informative
I ask behavior based questions all day long for my work as a tech recruiter. Definitely use the star method, make sure you actually understand the question and use recent examples. Good luck!🍀
Ok Jessy
May I ask you for which company? I might be interested to apply for any open position.
Hi Jessica, I have an interview coming up. Recently, I have had ruptured my Ligament (ACL) and that has put me in a unique situation. Of course, the recovery from the surgery is stressful, and have taught me many life-lessons (Please note that I was living abroad and handled the situation on my own). On the downside, It has cost me a lot of time, where I was unemployed,
Can you please tell me if I can use this as an illustration in an interview?
Thanks in advance. Suggestions are welcome.
@@bhavyajoshi3362 it’s best to use a work scenario, however, if you feel you’re unable to do that and this situation is best relevant to answer the question go for it. But you will need to be very specific! What life lessons you learned and how you have used it to be yourself.
@@JessicaHicks hello Jessica, I was wondering is it considered bad if I take a long time to answer the question? Sometimes I have to think a lot to remember a scenario that fits the question
I had an interview today and I’ve been watching your videos before my interview. It had helped me so much thank you. And I got offered the job! I was mainly asked behaviour questions and I’m glad I watched this video and other videos on your channel. Thank you so much.
Hey, that's fantastic news! Well done, congratulations and thanks for sharing your success story with me. Good luck in your new job!
I have two interviews tomorrow at 10am and 10:30am for the same position. Thanks for making this video!
Thank you so much for your expert advice on how to answer behavioural questions. Today was my interview and I prepared it according to your video tips also extensively researched and read all material available on your website. Impressive and helpful content.
The panelists seemed quite happy and satisfied with my answers and performance but they are in a process of taking more interviews so I will get an answer in the coming two weeks.
Keeping my fingers crossed and will update the postive outcome too.
Great video. I keep rewatching it so I am prepared for my next interview. Thank you for having this available.
Thank you, sir. The questions and answers covered are incredible!!! Please keep posting such amazing educational videos.
Thanks! I appreciate that :)

@@CareerVidz CareerVidz! Thank you for useful information.
Can you please make a video for a question that I don't know the answer.
How Can i let them know that I don't know the answer for this question.
these sort of videos are usually not that helpful but this was surprisingly really informative. Thought of many ways I can answer these questions. Thank you!
Thanks, Charles! I appreciate that :)
Great Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Schallingora Information Investigation Scheme (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one off guide for learning what you need to say to get hired in a job interview without the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend Sam finally got astronomical results with it.
Hi Richard. Fantastic content. I have done internal interview prep for a promotion to a new department, a d my interview is this Thursday. I watched through your video all the way, and I thank you for your content. My company definitely appreciates the STAR method. They add an extra T for "tie-in;" basically, they want you to wrap up the answer by stating why you told that story/gave that example and how it related to a relevant skill you feel is important to the position.
Thanks, Scott - I like the "tie-in" element and that definitely adds an additional positive element to the response :)
This is a great video! I have an interview tomorrow, so of course I'm using this video to help with preparing. In addition, as an operations manager, I plan to use this video has a guide when i conduct interviews. Again this was great and i'll be re-watching. Thank you
Thank you very much for your positive words and I am sure you will pass your interview! Good luck, RIchard

Thanks, Richard, I have my interview for a higher grade position within the same governmental agency on Tuesday. I have studied sample questions for this grade before but of course, they do not ask the same questions I have. :-) Your video is practical in coaching how to answer the questions and how to prepare. Did you get the role?
@@Panzerbeast No, it did not work out. Glad I didn't as the position was a new position and there have been major issues with the role out. Thank you though and I will review your advice again prior to my next interview.

Hi Mr. Richard McMunn,
Want to say that you are really doing a great job by educating people who to stand out in their interview questions. We can cover the technical part but the organizational behavior questions are the part that we often miss. My interview is scheduled for the coming Wednesday, I am watching your videos and it is helping me a lot. Thanks

Hello... you’ve helped me pass a Mechananial Aptitude Assessment that I had no clue how to solve. Practice makes perfect being that I’ve never worked in a actual Manufacturing plant... Now I want to see if you have an actual video for panel interviews in that department?

I have an interview in a few hours. I have failed a few recent interviews, I wish I got to watch this video beforehand. Very useful video. Situational questions are tricky because, I would have displayed proper behaviour naturally, but was not elaborating about it in the interviews.
I just got hired. Thanks to this video 🙏
That's most people's problem, I think. Congrats on the job!
I have a 3rd round behavioral interview tomorrow with a large Fintech company. Your other videos helped greatly with the earlier rounds. You are doing a tremendous service.

LOL i have a great one for question 2. My retail store caught fire and my supervisor and manager weren't anywhere near my location. I had to handle that WITH customers in the store all alone as someone with a major disability. FUN!! (yes I put the fire out and called the only other co-worker I knew of, but who wasn't related to my department and closed the store quickly).
Hi Richard, A very informative and interesting set of questionnaires indeed. Would you like to attempt on how the following question should be addressed : Tell me about a time you broke the rules to get accomplish a job? Thank you

This was a very helpful video. Thank you. I have got a phone interview in 45 minutes for a company I really want to work for. I have interviewed with them 2 times in the past, and am hoping 3rd time is the charm. this was helpful to get the conversation part of my brain going at an earlier hour than I am used to and really got me thinking about my experiences in a more structured manner.
I hope the interview went well for you :)
@babyboocici1913 unfortunately no
I would say you must be brave and ask them why you never got the job. Ask for honest feedback.
extremely difficult to come up with thorough answer on the spot
So true
Thats why this video is bull crap. You could never give an answer like that during a live interview
@@carloeramos you can use ur own scenarios Ofcourse you right it has to br crisp
His answers are very detailed and thorough right, it is like very unnatural
Especially when your brain stops working cause you have anxiety... its the best lol
Hi Richard, Thank you for the Q&A about this topic. I have a very important interview tomorrow that is a game changer. I will use the STAR method and get my story straight. Cheers Angela Cote. North Bay, Ontario Canada
Thank you. Very practical
I didn't even know such types of questions existed until I attended my interview yesterday
Thanks and good luck :)
- When have you completed a difficult task or project?
- Yes, I can.
xd
maslak 😂😂😂 Lol dude!! I caught that too! 😜
LOL.....dumb ass. Lol
Totally gonna get the job with that answer xD
Highly likely the question was asked "can you tell me about..." hence the answer.
Just like the scene from the movie "Little Prince" when the girl is enrolling college...
- What will you be, when you grow up?
- Yes, I am
hahaha
Man, great tips! Really many thanks for sharing!
No problem! Thank you :)
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve a short video interview coming up! They gave me 7 days to complete it but I guess the sooner the better. Your assessment/personality videos helped me pass their assessment test & only options on mind were Disagree or Agree, included Math questions mostly calculating percentages & some vocabulary questions this for a work at home position the test was 50 minutes!!! I did great that’s why I got the invitation to complete the short video interview & I’m very nervous never did one before 😆
Brilliant!

Hi,
Your video was great. Most videos don't cover this much information and I'm grateful that you could. I have an interview coming up in the health field I have no relatable experience in, but I have transferable skills from many jobs in operations. How would I go about explaining this when asked to tell about myself?
I have interview today with 3 senior managers for 3 hours. I was watching your videos for inspiration. Thank you so much for talking time to make it. It helps a lot.
I'm glad you've found the video useful! Let me know how you got on with your interview :)
Ok. 2 of 3 people were asking me to give examples of negative experiences and failure. I think I did good. I'll find out results in the week. Thank you for your tutorials.

Hi, good luck with your interview. The best way is to practice lots of sample questions in a mock interview setting. A bit of nerves is fine at the interview, but try practicing lots of interview questions and see how you get on. Here's another useful video to help you: ua-cam.com/video/umQKkcBPL08/v-deo.html

Wild sex before interview
Sex is a fantastic answer. It does the same thing for you that exercising in a manner that elevates your heart rate, causes you to sweat and, ultimately, release the "feel good" chemicals in your body that will give you a sense of WELL BEING. When one has a sense of well-being, he or she will be calm, cool and collected.
Preparation is everything. Many people have mentioned all the types of prep that one can do. However, preparing a schedule for your preparation is just as important, because you will only increase your stress, anxiety, sweating, appearing flustered and not retaining the info you prepped if you do not allow yourself plenty of time to prep, and, just as important, to SLEEP, EAT RIGHT and EXERCISE!
If you want to be uber stressed, stay up all night and pound coffee, booze, cigarettes, your significant other, a stranger, etc.
Most likely, if you obtain the position, there will be some stress involved in the day to day life of the job. Thus, the interviewer is going to judge you on how you look; how you are handling the stress; what you smell like; quite frankly, anything and everything about you is going to be judged, including your age, color of your skin, your sex, whether you are married, single, have kids, grandkids, your sled, the tags on your clothes, your hair line, your piercings, tattoos, cologne, perfume, shoes, your computer bag, your facial hair (especially troubling if you are a woman!)...anything you let them see they are building a story behind it in their mind. Thus, you want to make sure you have yourself together and you appear in the most "normal manner" as possible. You want to be a "stock human" that has the skills, ability and experience that they want for the job, which, more than likely, isn't what they put on the job advertisement. (For example: I just read a job description that says the position requires the utilization of ones eyes to see small items upclose due to the nature of the products being sold. HINT...they aren't hiring anyone over 30!)
Thus, you need to be exercising, prepping, sleeping, dressing well, but not too good, eating right, not smelling AT ALL, not having any piercings, tattoos, facial hair, weird hair color, weird anything, no signs of kids, grandkids, husbands, wives, parents, schools, legal issues, etc. You cant come in there all sweaty, hungry, too full, tired, overly awake, etc.
You need to be as forgettable as possible, except for the talent that they are wanting to hire, and nothing more, including more talent than they want.
You mention that you are older, as if that is a reason to not have wild sex. I sure hope not. Nonetheless, I do not want to hear "I'm older" as an excuse to not exercise. Anyone can have sex and anyone can exercise. You know what Dirty Harry said about excuses? If not, look it up. I'll tell you who hates excuses more than my wife, a FREAKING BOSS!
GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS (but dont let the interviewer know that you are all up in God's business either. God people can be off-putting to some, as well.
(It goes without saying that you must not come in there with FOXNEWS or MSNBC on your mind either. That crap needs to be flushed out of ones system. No matter what side you think is right, it is always wrong. The guy with a Cracker Barrel sign on his desk may just be hiding his love for Rachel Maddow to please his coworkers and really doesn't hang with Hannity at the Cracker Barrell. Then again, the dude in a girls shirt and skinny jeans may be disguising his Bill O'Reilly fan club leader position. You just never know.
Just go. If you fail you fail. If you pass out then pass out. Just go.
this is very nice, however when we go into interview room my mind will go blank, do not know what to say. can you please advise me what to do in this situation Richard?
Hi, I recommend writing down bullet points from each response and then remembering those as prompts for your responses. Good luck! :)

How’d it go
Rejected.. Everything was good. They gave the reason that I don't have exp facing the customers and have no negotiation skills.
