🥳Congratulations!🥳 Well done Katrinia, it can sometimes be more challenging to pass an internal interview so extra congrats - I'm so glad it helped, and thank you for coming back to share that, best of luck in your new career / promotion!
I got the job!! 🥳 I watched your videos leading up to my interview. I am re-entering the corporate world after raising 4 kids over the past 15 years. Your advice and information was incredibly helpful!! Thank you!! I will continue to watch moving forward.
Congratulations! That's amazing, thanks so much for sharing that with me, hugely appreciated - I wish you all the very best in your new Corporate job! :)
Thank you for giving real answers to the questions. My mind goes blank when answering these types of questions. Scenarios came back to me after looking over your example answers!
hi! just wanted to let you know that your video helped me out a lot for the interview I had yesterday and today I got offered the job!! thank you so much for your content
You are concise, clear and give practical info on behavioral/situational interviews. appreciate the pleasantness of your voice and the intelligent real world approach of your answers
Hi!! FINALLY an actual crystal clear video which excellently describes the line of thought and great examples which can be relevant for several different professions! Superstar, thank you so much!❤️🌟🍾
I have some questions: 1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate). 2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role 3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies 4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years* *Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.
This wasa great study guide and got my brain fired up and working on the right track. I like the break downs of answers and how they reflect competencies the the interviewers are looking for.
This was one of the best video I have watched. Most of the other creators videos are an advertisement of their course without even giving value to their viewers.
Struggling making clear sentences when I get nervous. I need notes because when I get nervous I'm not able to concentrate. Lately my interviews were online therefore I am able to read notes behind the camera!.. im a government worker
Great idea - knowing the notes are there can be a huge help for anyone experiencing interview nerves thank you for the tip, and best of luck with you're interviews! :)
Thank you so much for this video! I have had my job for 8 years so I’m veryyy rusty with interviewing now I’m job searching. This video is the perfect starting point
Thanks to your insights and the knowledge I gained from the video, I was able to showcase my abilities and expertise during the job application process. The information proved to be instrumental in impressing the hiring team, and I am thrilled to announce that I have been offered the position!
I am a long time 10 yr employee looking for a new carrier your information was very helpfull and really enjoyed your ideas with the star method which can apply to many of my situations i never really considered that important but need to be applied to interviews, thanks
You delivered concise, clear, and practical information on behavioural and situational interviews. I appreciate the way you provide practical examples and the intelligent, real-world approach in your answers. As I am preparing for my incoming job interview, your videos will be very helpful.
I love this, thank you. I have 3 interview invites lined up next week, within NHS in UK as a biomedical scientist. This is helpful but I'll need more hints from you. The interviews will be online.
I haven’t interviewed for a job in probably 27 years so this STAR method is new to me. I’ve watched several vids about it and I like the way you have explained it so thoroughly. I have 1 question. How likely is it that an interviewer would ask, tell me about a time when you failed and tell me about a time you made a mistake? My answer would be the same for both of those. Not to say I haven’t errored. I just can’t think of a lot of times that would be relevant for an interview answer.
Hi Amri, Just a quick Thank You for your hints and tips on success profiles and interviews. I recently passed my interview moving sideways from IE to HMRC. Although I had others helping, your guidance definitely helped me. I scored 6 in both behaviours and total of 10 (out of 12) for 3 strengths questions. Thank You. The best bit of advice I would have for anyone is preparing properly before interview. I took a week off prior to it and it defintely helped me structure my behaviours and practice them.
Congratulations! Thanks so much sharing this with me I really hope you enjoy your new role. Completely agree, preparing properly is so important and you were clearly dedicated in your prep, congrats and really well done!
@@amricelesteinterviewcoach You are very welcome😊 By the way I have an hirevue interview Friday morning for Flight attendant position and I do not know how to respond to " What his the thoughtest challenger you ever face" Any ideas or suggestion? ( I used to be a flight attendant for many years) Thanks!
Morning Amri. Watched a few of these kind of videos now and I found yours to be the clearest so thank you. As my interview later today is for a technical post, I find the new style of interview using these types of questions very new and quite irrelevant to me. I’m used to being asked technical questions and how I would apply engineering a situation but this is no longer the case with large companies who now use this interviewing style. I’ve certainly gleaned some great tips using your video and feel pretty confident I can pass my interview today! 🤞
During your interview you will be assessed against the following competencies: Think It Through Get the job done Work together Always learning Need questions and answers related to these topics

Thanks so much Amri, I actually have an interview tomorrow. I may be contacting you in the future, although you have actually prepared me for the interview. Have a good evening.
Good morning, these videos are very helpful. I have a interview today by 11 am central time please wish me luck ! I normally become nervous doing interviews and when I ask a question, I’ll think for maybe two seconds answer the question and forget what to say or ramble because I can’t think of what story to use. I believe our exit interview for at least 10 seconds before I can respond and try to gather my thoughts before I respond with that star answer..
sorry about the confusion. I was saying earlier that when I am ask a question, I become nervous and ramble. I need to maybe ask the interviewer to give me at least 10 seconds to answer so I can gather my thoughts please wish me luck.
Hi Tasha, yes it's absolutely fine to ask the interview for some time before you answer, in fact I highly recommend pausing before you answer, it gives an opportunity to refine your answer before you start like you say. I really do wish you the best of luck!
I think for interviews especially as a graduate it's better to be able to use the same examples for multiple questions, otherwise, you'll end up having a different example for each question.

For example, I filled out a pre-interview questionnaire with 30 competency-based questions to get to the interview stage already :)
