You don’t seem to understand that many people work and play in remote places where they drive offroad with a payload. The ride was rough off road because you had no weight in the truck. I know this vehicle is a bit outside your wheel house, but saying its a bad off roader because its rough when empty I think your missing the point of a truck like this. Where I live there are thousands of miles of forestry roads with lakes and campsites to explore with the family, and by the time you have some tongue weight from a travel trailer, camping gear, coolers, maybe some firewood and a family you are usually over the payload of a half ton.
feelings hurt it seems. were you this forgiving when the Honda Ridgeline came out and did things according to it's design and capabilities? or were you one of the slugs who wailed about it wasn't a real truck because it wasn't body on frame, couldn't tow 10,000 pounds and had a minivan chassis? there are way more people who only need a Ridgeline but need to get 1500s and above because they get judged by their preferred rig by the "truck guys" like you.
@@Bornintheseat that would be awfully nice of you. Perhaps you are more reasonable than the people who buy Super Duty trucks with suspension lifts that never tow anything or maybe carry a tree or washer/dryer from Home Depot.
did the city slicker hurt your feelings? he reviewed a truck according to his experience. you want to review the truck according to your standards? make a YT channel and have at it.
hahahaha...I live in an an outdoorsy state and the only real reason so many of these trucks are outside is because they don't fit in the garage. So many F-350s and Cummins Rams that are so clean inside and out, taking kids to school and back with nary a boat or trailer in sight.
@@SC-pk7uh there is caring, and then there is observing and making comments. Put me in the latter group. I think its a waste, but then again i would love the opportunity to buy an exotic sports car for half a million. I just wouldn't say that i bought a Ferrari so i can go to work or take my kids to school, which like i said many people here do with their huge trucks. At the end of the day it's their money, you're right.
I agree with other commenters. This should've been reviewed by a truck guy. He complained about getting into the bed. The truck has a step tailgate. He obviously has no clue.
This review was one of the worst I have viewed. He doesn't understand HD truck buyers and what they are looking for. The ZR2 base gas version is actually a bargain at $73k compared to an $80k base Raptor.
4:30 The tailgate drops called “MultiPro Tailgate” it LITERALLY helps you get into the tail gate. Idk why he’s embarrassing himself climbing into it like a kid at a McDonalds playground.
Yeah man, I think you may be in the wrong department or maybe you’re just from a younger group that doesn’t understand what you’re looking at. They finally have a company with some balls finally doing some stuff to super duty trucks. I would still make it a little wider, but that’s me because I’m a sicko. I can certainly send pictures of my baby, which is what you’re looking at just on steroids with the same exact height
You made a joke of getting in without the power step, and the tail gate has the step that drops down. You seem to be biased to big trucks finding problems instead using the tools available
😂😂 in what category? Towing 😂 no. ZR2 can do it all. Power wagons does good off road that’s it. The Drive quality is better on gm the interior is better, and will hold its own off-road. So ZR2 is way more well rounded then power wagon.
If you don't like trucks, don't do reviews of trucks. This was terrible to watch. Constant complaining on subjective basis. Don't do reviews at all if you can't be professional. Go make some cake.
He seemed to not be in his element through the whole video. Think he would be much happier testing a Toyota Prius.

If I reviewed a ridgeline I would review it based on what it's designed to do and who it is designed to satisfy.

Fit better on trails? The ZR2 is narrower than both the TRX and Raptor. ZR2 is longer but it fits better in tighter trails bud. 🤦🏽♂️
maybe you'd be good at reviewing hybrid crossovers?
He said it has 3 lift kits on it. WTF it doesn’t even have 1 lift kit. It’s a complete different suspension system than a regular HD 4X4 😂
You should stick to car reviews
100. Total hater. I love my HD ZR2.

best value for hd off-road trucks
Have owned a dozen HD trucks, you don’t think you need it until you do. I can tell the reviewer has never owned or lived with one of these.

Trouble getting into the bed of a truck… wrong world sister

This guy looks better suited in a mini cooper.
That truck has a short bed (for the hd world). Got it?
