When Jo stepped in as soon as the dad said “I’ll put you to sleep😡” to the kids, I knew she was ready to protect those kids!
Ya, what he said wasn't cool.

No one is making Dad the bad guy, he’s making himself the bad guy.
How
Yes. And he also wanted to make himself the good guy. I give him massive props for that, bc it’s amazing he admitted his mistakes & made an effort to correct them. That’s strength!
he was, but he wanted to improve and genuinely did all he could to correct himself
This guy should be very proud of himself for admitting that he was wrong and that he's willing to do anything to change the way he raises his kids. And kudos to Mom for hanging in there for seven years!!!
i wonder how long we have to hang in there for the pandemic. oh lordy!!!

I am that Aunt. Everyone says, how do you get them to mind? 🤣cause they know Auntie don't play....rules are rules and there are consequences. I also first they turn to when they get hurt for loving. They trust me.
I agree. Jo Frost is the aunt I always wanted. I would love to meet Jo Frost in person one day!
I’m that Auntie too!!
I am that aunt... and yes, I call it having the "Jo Vibe."
I don't have an aunt like that, but an uncle. I'm 32 and I talked to him for 3 hours yesterday asking for parenting advice. Never whooped me, never yelled at me, but I always listened to him and respected him.
I love how accepting both parents are of everything Joe said but can we also appreciate how pretty the mom is?!?
Yeah she is adorable. ^.^
So cute!
I could not stop thinking that!!
Ik the mom is absolutely gorgeous
All I could think about every time she was on screen was how beautiful she is
These parents were so open and willing for change. Dad really took those lessons from Jo to heart instead of getting defensive. His tone improved so much and he showed so much more patience putting them to bed. Those kids are going to respect the both of them so much more. Happy to see another miracle worked by SuperNanny!
Yes. I was really happy when the dad was so open to change. Also the mom, her face when she realized that she did well was acc so heartwarming cuz she didn’t seem like she knew she could ever do it and she finally did
Im not gonna lie, each time his daughter slapped him in the face I REALLY flinched

I loved at 19:27 when the kid yelled down, "Mom! Tina's out of her room!" ... girl, so are you! lmao
Aren’t tattletales the best?
The amount of abusive men on this show is astonishing..
I really hope this helps them realise how abusive they are so they can learn to be better fathers.
Not to mention the number of women who should never have had children in the first place.
@@zubileegluckgluck This comment is not productive because the children are already here and they cannot go back in time and not have them...So the only thing is to follow supernannys techniques and her advice. The men and women need to obviously change in order for the family unit to work. And usually the fathers are more aggressive and the mothers are way to passive and push overs. It is like it is, no need to say that anyone should not have had children. It does not solve the problem and it sounds just silly.
@@TeaCup1940 Your parents should not have had children, either.

Dad was so angry at bedtime but kept his calm! Great job dad! And mom was so sweet while making rules, told dad she will support him! Great job mom! Together the 2 of you are amazing parents! ♥️
This is why whenever I see "bad kids", I instantly think of the parents. Parents EXPECT results (good behavior and emotional regulation), without putting in the "work". Not to mention, the parents act like terrible toddlers themselves. We are the role model. Children mimic our behavior. Ugh, it breaks my heart 💔
Well said.
Family update: Chia and David divorced, David quit his job, Julia and 2 others were arrested and charged with burglary at gunpoint.
that’s what happens when u grow up in this environment!
I just absolutely love these parents. I know that they needed some help but they are so committed to changing, it's hard to be told that the way you are doing things just isn't working and you have to change but they just accepted it, didn't waste time trying to argue or make excuses, they just acknowledged that Jo was right and they needed to make changes. Especially incredible for the Dad to work on the way he was treating his kids. I think they are really lovely people and they have beautiful children.
The mom seems so sweet like, I feel so bad for her! ☹️

With Jo’s help, these parents changed their ways and now know how to properly parent their children. 💗 Jo has done incredible things for so many families.
Many families that Jo helped are now divorced. Look it up in the supernanny wiki. Surely she should be there more time with the families I think. Only 2 weeks is not enough to make such huge changes.

This is hands down the BEST episode, it made me smile so much. I also love that the dad cried. I think that’s great, men should cry more. I hope those kids are grown up now and still have great relationships with their parents
His "scaring" them doesn't work anyway. 🤣🤣 I would have NEVER said no to my dad. Can't even imagine.
It's a lesson for all parents...jo was on spot when she mentioned wife is passive cause she was protecting from fear.

Proud of dad and mom. Good job dad keeping your temper in check, we know it’s not easy. It shows great strength and love your children though.
"I'm not gonna raise my voice anymore."
I'll believe it when I see it, champ. This guy scared me, truly.
When i was younger when i was told “bed time” i would go “ok.”
I've watched six minutes of this and it is very clear the violence is the way the kids respond to the dad's aggressive way of talking and dealing with them, it seems to be their defense mode
Even the way he grabs their arms, threatening them all the time, the kids are just mirroring what they see their dad do to be "powerful", they are clearly terrified
The more of these episodes I see, the more I start to believe the kids' terrible behaviour comes from somewhere... The parents' example. But, they have learned from their own parents' example... Everyone brings in their own baggage, and so the cycle continues. Until Jo arrives to break it 💚
Yeah, the dad can yell, scream and hit and be all aggressive…
Kids behavior doesn’t always come from that. There are other reasons for it that could come into play. Just this show usually portrays that.
Yes I very much agree with you!
Those busy bee outfits were so cute oh my god. Best idea ever.
The mum reminds me Topanga from Boy Meets World and the dad reminds me of Jay from Modern Family and that’s one couple I never thought I’d see lol 😂
That poor hamster! 🐹
Seriously 🥺
I wish there was Supernanny when I was young. My parents wouldn't have reached out though, because they had everything under control. I'm still intimidated and afraid of my dad and I'm almost 40 years old! Now my parents lose their tempers with my niece and nephew, who I feel really bad for. My sister is continuing the cycle and is constantly yelling. It's really hard to watch. Especially when there's nothing I can do about it😪
You should try reduce the shouting at your nieces/nephews by trying to show their parents and your parents techniques that will work. Because if you’re intimidated by your parents your whole life then it’s going to be somewhat traumatic or somewhat damaging. Whether it’s mental, physical or emotional damage, it’s still damage. So I’d say if you have the opportunity to stop it, please try 👍
i am facing something similar, the best thing to do is to talk to your sister and tell her she needs to break the generational toxicity
It's one thing to lose your temper at your own kids, but it is next level to lose your temper at your grandchildren! The one thing that I would do in your situation is to report it to the relevant child protection agency in your area because with your fear of your own upbringing and now your sister is doing the same thing to her own children, unless someone pulls them up on their behaviour, it will continue to happen unfortunately! They need to be held accountable!
Have you tried getting legal advice or social services if only about your own families position in your situation
I can’t imagine how hard it must have been for them for things to progressively get worse over 7 years…you can tell they truly love each other and want things to work 💗
😊

At least get these kids some blackout curtains. Who can sleep when it's so light out?
I always find it strange how people feel they need to force kids to finish their food when they say they’ve had enough. Make it clear that they won’t be getting anything else until the next allotted meal time and if they are still not wanting to finish their food then it’s on them if they get hungry later.
If we are full up no one forces us to finish everything and it should be the same for kids. And the food they don’t eat doesn’t need to be wasted, keep it in the fridge and give it back to them next meal time 🤷🏻♀️
Once, my dad was forcing us to eat honey because I think we had sore throats and my brother vomited after eating it
I was around 6 or 7 and my brother was 4 or 5 when this happened.
I was forcefed paella because I wouldn't eat it as I don't like seafood. I vomited at the table because I wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom. That still stops me from eating seafood to this day because just the thought of it makes me sick. That sort of thing hurts you.
