It’s incredible that people care so much about who gives them the message vs what the message is. So much of what Jo said was stuff gramma already had told mom and dad. They just couldn’t take it because it was from gramma, which is so sad. I was happy to see mom spending one on one time, but what about dad? He should be doing the same, and I hope he does. I was really glad to see Gramma getting some appreciation at the end (even if Jo had to make them). She really deserved it.

Considering how lackadaisical the parents are about pool safety, Dad should be grateful that the Grandmother makes such an effort for the kids to learn how to swim. They sure can't rely on their parents to keep them safe around their pool. Dad is ridiculous to expect the Grandmother to focus equal attention on the swimming and the basketball. Maybe he should be the one to take all the kids to swimming and basketball. The idea that the Grandmother should be responsible for all the sports is nuts.
