At least you also mention the ships you arent sure of when making commentary, people also tend to take these tier lists as gospel rather than frame of reference.

Great ranking definitely reflects what I’ve been experiencing flying and fighting against. Interesting take about the 🔥🦅 I’ve been leaning heavy into it, trying to learn the best spots it should engage. Biggest problem I’ve had with it is how unreliable missles are I’ve had locks for my missiles to fly straight of into the horizon 123.
Try holding missiles until minimum lock range and flying straight towards the target with momentum

From what I've seen this looks pretty accurate. I hope they continue to work on missiles, I'm not sure how they should work exactly, but I think they should be more useful.

Again, I've purposely left out some ships. Mainly snub craft, a couple that weren't on the website, some of the more luxury based ships and racing ships as their purpose isn't so much competitive PVP in a squadron format. None of these would of ranked higher than D regardless.
I love the Firebird its so fun to just fly around with. Really curious how you guys employ them.

List is pretty spot on IMHO. I'd put the Inferno a good bit higher, but not high enough to matter that much. Ion is definitely F tier garbage right now. Mine's probably getting melted for some alien ships.

As an F7A mk II owner, so happy for that nerf. Bonking my head on the sides of my cockpit canopy was super frustrating in the slightest touches.

Early D, turns out the website didn’t have it so I forgot. But I ended up placing it in D because it doesn’t have autogimbal (which the fixed aiming system uses regardless)
so noob here what is interceptor tuning and how would you use it? and for what?
Just means its an interceptor ship. Built for speed.
I tried the Avenger Titan a bit and if the Bucc is placed on A tier, I feel the Titan/Stalker should be placed at C or D tier. Compared to the Bucc the Titan has a larger crosssection to hit (disadvantage), it has less weapons (disadvantage) but it is faster and has a smaller signature compared to the Bucc (which you can see from ages away). Since Interceptors are kinda useless once someone pays attention to them, a smaller crosssection helps to receive less attention. Also, even though the guns are less than the Bucc its still a decent loadout.

Hornet is Overpowered. Best Burst after F8 Lightning, more agile then Avengers and high health and strong capacitors, combined with solid Speed & Gs

Secondly I just watched your video on the duping exploit. I could not have agreed more. In fact I will add it is on selfish behavior. I have played games that are on full release. The excuse is, it is the devs fault. They should not have the problem in the game, why should we get punished. We helped them find it
The truth is, they do not care. They do not care how it hurts the game. How ot negatively impacts players. They want their gold, uec, credit and ect.
The me mentality is strong on a small ( noy so small) portion of people.
These are the very ones who are complaining, because they do not care.
I agree about the wipe and I had a ghost and had no clue.
Drop Corsair down to B, it only works in groups. Solo against a fighter it just dies since it has such a slow rotation speed

I think it's like D tier, the issue is the weapon convergence from no gimbals. The new aiming system leans on gimbals to work. But the sheer damage of the cannons are compelling.

All I’m wondering is when the nerf hammer will strike the F7A and other hornets? How far will they fall?
When engineering/resource network comes in is my guess, so they stop allowing throwing high energy consumption weapons to be thrown on a ship that has the ability to throw up to 6 cannons on them.
That's the hope anyway...

I feel like the Talon could easily be A tier. 18k hull HP (nearly the same as the Hornet) agile as fuck, small crossection, decent damage? It's the new Arrow imo. And it can straight BULLY Hornets in atmo
Also the Cutty Steel has more hull HP than a Corsair now, like 108k

Im a noob pilot and tried squadron battle a few times the past days using my Gladius. My goal was to focus on getting behind people but for some reason I just can't. Is backstrafing so strong that I can't get behind a F7A even while boosting? I feel like I'm retarded or something.

in my experience the sabre really good at atmosphere maybe the best in there class, i agree f7c mk2 better than f7a mk2
hm heavy fighters rly need some love :( My poor vanguard , i get called scumbag by Shadow Moses cuz i backstrafe and throwing emps at him xD (the only shit i rly can do now in that ship xD ). Gawd damn they just need to buff maneuvering thrusts so you can just strafe better than light fighters than you would solve the problem of balancing heavies with their awfullness wich resembles just worse controls of a medium fighter .
shits and giggles aside, Tana actually isn't that bad. the ship itself has a learning curve to it, though. has consistently been better than Titan for me.

The Hornet is S tier until CiG wants more money for a better ship that will be better for a short time. Such is life in a very successful fundraiser. Lol.

didnt you see the vid on avenger1 playing teamfight buccanners vs hornets? hornet loose everytime no mater what player are in the ships. Speed keeps you alive and is way more profitable than raw firepower in master modes. bucc only can flee? dude you can string, you can merge you can evade and let your wingmen take out that heavy hornet.
I’ve seen the video and I think it was just too soon for that video, on multiple occasions the hornets beat a squad of buccaneers. Hornets over buccs

I notice you seem to dismiss a few ships as "non-competitive" for reasons that dont relate to their actual combat ability. Just becaausethey do things OTHER than fighting doesnt mean they arnt at least C tier at fighting, but you're downgrading the Vanguards because they have an interior (and in the future, engineering gameplay), without even talking about them in relation to the Hurricane.

People sleep on the hammerhead because they put 7 people in it and get got. But you want 2 people. 1 Gunner in the top turret and 64 rattlers for the pilot. Combine that with a Corsair or Mk2 and you actually have a very strong fleet composition. From there you can build out with every new ship.
Also, great job on this tier list. It feels very close to my experience in the PU.
Also, the 890 is being slept on. If you bring lasers against it the thing has 1.5 million shields that can be boosted to an effective 3 million. The thing will tank lasers all day long.
It is vulnerable to ramming and ballistics though. I wish it got buffed to 200k HP hull

I have had a lot of success in the firebird. You are guaranteed to kill at least one person with minimal risk.

The game is seriously in the worst state it has ever been. its supposed to be this great engaging space sim style game but it feels like im flying a jet in battlefield 3 but worse. nothing about the current flight model feels good.

I have absolutely destroyed them all in PVP encounters, I'm no good pilot either. I'm not sure what shit people were smoking when they said it was the best and broke the game.
