I purchased patches at signaturepatches.com
Paid $1.95 for each patch
I iron them on my shirts my hats and anything else I want them on. They have trouble sticking on "dad hats" so I stitch them and sew them when I sell my hats.
Thanks for watching. I'm already half way sold out on my patches. I didn't feel comfortable selling them just ironed on.. so I decided to learn how to sew so I can stitch them on as well. They are on my site if you wanna see them in action. To be honest my personal hats I am too lazy to stitch them on they are just ironed on. I used the iron on the second to hottest setting. Don't do it too hot or it will burn the hat and leave a sort of shiny mark.. thanks for watching and reading
When you stitch them, do you just do a couple stitches around the edges? I'd love to see an updated tutorial!
Bro, I am in dire need of some guidance lol. How did you stitch them? What's your finished product like? I'm heading to the site but want to hear it from the man himself.
Thank you bro dm me on instagram tonight I’ll give you a better answers
Did they stick on better sewn or iron ? Thank you for the video btw I just ordered patches iron on cause last time I bought sew ons but the person at the dry cleaner didn’t sew it on so good
They stuck with the iron on... but with it iron and sewn on.. it’s never coming off. When I sold them I didn’t want them to come off- but if it was for my personal use I just ironed them on. Either way they both worked for me
I was wondering if I could do exactly like what you did so thx dude for testing it out for me
Put a piece of white copy paper over it to avoid scorching the patch.
Brandon R. Thank you I will definitely try it out. That's awesome
then it will burn the paper
Hi its called parchment paper. works great I use it with my heat press and hat press.
Sweet thank you
@@destinedgreatness7186 can i reuse the parchment paper or i need to throw it out after i use it on one patch?
So happy I found you !! Thank you
Thank you I’m glad it helped !
I’m trying it tonight or tomorrow. So will see. I’m in Cannabis and in the process of doing a hemp and bamboo, vegan leather line. It’s bullshit how the companies charge so much. We are working on a documentary about it. Maybe down the line you would want to talk and do something with your designs! It’s amazing how the most talented people I found are on you tube ! I’m in Calif, you ?
What can help is using some dabs of fabric glue on the back of the patch for extra adhesion.
Ahh thank you. I actually have extra hanging around my apartment. I will do that tonight! Thank you for this
spot on brother , i was afraid to do that and i even try super glue before i found the vid. Also Atx based !
VapinAround how long did the super glue last for ? 🤔
Love these! Looking to do patches on hats for my small biz!
Thank you! I hope everything goes well!
I'm literally sitting here watching this video while I have that same ironing board and my hat on it
🤣🤣
Sounds like success in your future
@@vincentbryan1962 I did. My dad loved the gift
Thanks for uploading the helpful video bruh! I ordered a couple's patches and glued this pac man on my hat! looks lit asf 🔥
Oh hell yea man I’m glad it worked out! It’ll stay on if you wear it casually.
Thanks so much bro, im trying to finally personalize my hats. Cheers!
This is dopeeeee. Now I know what to do with my sox patches! Thanks bro!
Thanks bro my patch just fell of when I went in pool 😂
did it leave iron stains. that look like slug trails? if yes how do u get rid of it
I’d use a thin bandana over the patch so it doesn’t stain it. And keep moving iron around so it’s not in one spot.
Awesome going to try this
Solid video I'll be trying this 💯
Thank you so much yo
Came here looking for how to put a patch on a hat, and it worked. Also, hope you don't find it offensive but you are a very attractive guy (I am gay). Thanks for the upload though!
i like your tats man they look sick
Thank you
Can you use like a hair iron?
How do u know if it’s an iron on patch
Fux ya my dude get that hustle on. What site can i buy cheap snapbacks in bulk that are halfway descent?
Thx, it really works.
Awesome I’m glad
Nice bro thanks!
So I’m trying to make my fiancé a custom hat, but I’ve NEVER ironed on patches before...the patch I have says works better on cotton, but the description before I bought it didn’t say that. I have a polyester hat though...do you know what kind of hats you used? Any pointers would be amazing! Thanks in advance!
It shouldn't matter as long as the patches have that sticky backing the heat should put them on anything
Thanks for this video. What setting did you use on the iron?
I used it for "cotton" I think it's the hottest setting- then after pressing for a long time I had to turn it down after ruining some hats (burning it) so it's one. Notch below the hottest notch
Thank you!
Damn I needed this, I know this vid is old, but how are the patches holding up ????
Still strong my friend. The sewn and iron on ones are never coming off. The iron on patch is surprisingly strong too
vincent bryan bet that. Thanks for responding. I'm starting my own hat company as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad I found this Vid, I was gonna invest in a hat head press, but why?? Lol.
If I can use an iron!
Thanks man! Saved me 160$

Came for the hat...stayed for the hot bod! 😆
ok
Lol same. Did learn how to put a patch tho so thanks for that and the gun show, Vincent!
thank bro!
How long did it last?
Without stitching it. It lasted for 3 months with washing. Because I worked out in them. They could last longer if I wasn’t rough or get them wet and sweaty and always putting them in the washer. So 3 months then the corners started to come off a little bit. After stitching them they last just as long as the hat itself
Awesome dude!
Thanks a bunch
what size is thar patch
What size are the patches?
Genius
What company do you use to buy your patches?
Used a company called
Signature patches :)
Signaturepatches.com
was the patch 75% embroidery or 100%?
thanx boss
Thank you
Thanks!
Thank you
please put on a shirt, you'll catch a cold
+George Johnston I live in Texas poppa. Thanks for lookin out tho oldtimer
vincent bryan I'm eight
But like my grandma always said, whaT are you trying to cut glass with those nipples? but on a shirt.
My gramma told me to free the nipple and liberate your mind
Thank you so much dude I truly appreciate you reaching out with so much positivity man I don’t see that too often. Much love on this end bro
Was the patch still on after washing?
Yes it was. Wouldn’t count on it to last forever tho
So how long did these last on the hats ? Did they ever start to peel off and what about if the had got wet in the rain ?
They lasted a while! I’d say a year. With force you can rip them off but they don’t just come off in their own. Sweat proof I wore them to the gym. I sewed them on like the corners so it will just never come off and I won’t ever have to worry about them
I don’t know how to sew so I was thinking of using the gel super glue which is not messy and i have used it on clothing and stuff and it seemed to work great. Do you think it will work for the hats ?
Didn’t work
I’m sorry to hear that
We’re can I order custom patches from thank you
Signature patches . Com
The first time he pressed the iron onto the patch was for about 25 seconds.
You da real MVP
Loc-Tite super gel control glue
Came for the DIY stayed for the snack
Is the snack me??
lmao thats both sad
:’(
Dope! How'd the washed one go?
The wash went good the patch stayed on. But I sell them on my website and I didn't feel comfortable selling them just ironed on. So I also stich them, just so they'll stay on forever. But the glue has been working so far on my hats
Thanks for gettin back to me homie.
vincent bryan you're the man

How’re these holding up today?
Ironing them on they don’t last but a couple years. With stitching tho will last for decades
I thought this dude was the rock lol
Lol
