Awesome glad i found your video i would have never known about this product if i hadnt ran across your channel,i put a patch on a hat i received for Christmas it looks so much better now, thanks
Sure, I ended up doing a bit of sewing at 4 key points on this patch as a precaution, because I was going to wear it the next day and didn't want to take any chances...
@@MakeItorBreakItNow well im not planning to heat press. Wondering about the glue that is already on the patch. If it would comprise the adhesive of the magic patch. Ill be giving it a try though 🤞🏽
Agree, but the ghostbuster patch is odd shaped, probably don't need to stitch unless you want to use right away like I did on this one. Weighing down the patch for a couple of days with something like a 2 lb bag bag of rice would aid the adhesion...
Not that I wash hat's that often, but I've washed uniforms that have patches on them and as long as you use a gentle cycle and cold water I've never had a problem...
Helped alot! Was looking for a way to finally put my patches on something
Glad to hear. Sounds like this video will help you out with your patches...
Thank you! I am a seamstress but occasionally get a request for something like this…! Much appreciated!
You're so welcome! This stuff has stood the test of time so far...
Hook and loop tape works good too. So you can interchange the patches if you want.
great suggestion, I have flightsuits and always enjoy swapping out the patches.
super helpful thank you!! trying to spice up my new overalls w some pink coquette patches :)
This approach should work for you.
Awesome man
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback.
This just made sub to this channel lol, just ordered my first set of patches, I hope they turn out ok!!
You can do it Frank! Making is fun.

Glad I could help! Let me know how long it lasts.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow thanks so much I certainly will
Very nice! Thanks for the tip
You're welcome Chris, are you going to make one?
@@MakeItorBreakItNowwe never heard of Chris ever again
Very cool
Thanks, the hat and others are still going strong years after using this method.
Top thanks!
Thanks, my hat is still going strong.
Do you think this would adhere well to a corduroy hat?
Probably, depending on how new the hat is. Once you put it on though, you're kind of committed.
Wholesome content
Thanks Mitchell, that's what my channel is all about.
Great video! Do you ever use both patch magic and sewing?
Sure, I ended up doing a bit of sewing at 4 key points on this patch as a precaution, because I was going to wear it the next day and didn't want to take any chances...
How long does the patch adhesive last?
Years, if not forever. You can also Scotchguard the hat to protect it further from water.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow What if someone washed the hat? How long would this last?
Does this work on patches that already have iron on glue?
not sure. You'd have to be careful not to melt the cover...

Does it work on leather
Not sure, never tried, but don't see why it wouldn't...
Why wouldn't you cut an oversized piece, lay the patch on, and cut the excess off? Seems easier.
you could do that, you can also fold in the extra bits and the patch will still stay on fine, that's my experience so far.
Like you said "add stitching to anything glue-on" but that's what I want to avoid.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, I too was happy with the results here...
👍👍
Thanks for the thumbs up.
Superglue
Good idea, I'll have to try that.
