- Review of the stunning Orient Crystal 3 star watch. This great NOS example is running like a gem and one of the best looking green dial watches I have seen. As always is my review a bit of an mess but it's all about showing the watch and not about a great story or using the dude word 100 times. If you have any comments please leave then here below, it can take a while but I will reply. This channel is a hobby so I don't work on it every day or week...
I enjoyed the video 👍. I coincidentally picked up this same watch around same time this video came out, and I love mine. Mine has genuine movement and NOS parts, it runs a tad slow a day but its ok for what it is. I'm not familiar with your channel but I'd bet you can do a terrific Antonio Banderas impression. Cheers

Hi , loved your video , i just purchased the exact NOS watch , apart from the cheap and nasty bracelet , its a stunning looking watch and it appears to be very well made , I now have it on a leather strap and it looks fantastic , I'm still not 100% sure wether its a franken watch or not, as its hard to believe there could be so many NOS of this model available on the internet , i purchased the watch from a grey seller who assured me its genuine Hmmmm genuine what , is the question.
There seems to be a huge stock of parts when the closed the factory, they simply put them together like before. That might be the reason the never come with box and papers. I already see that they get harder to get... Soon they are gone and now parts are really gone... Don't forget that Orient was one of the biggest factories in there time

I have the same watch but my days are numbered , for example mon1 tue2 etc ... in your opinion could this be a fake or were these orients assembled with these day wheels too ?

No, that is how it should be.... I am not a fan of it but often on Japanese watches they ad the number of the day to it. With Orient some have the number added some not it might have to do with the region the watch is made for.... But it don't mean your watch is a fake.... don't worry!

Hi , I wasn’t aware that Orient had closed up shop as you mentioned , when did this happen ?
They are still alive but now completely part of Seiko and no longer independent. They did close a big factory and did discontinue a lot of models. The sold the factory completely, including parts and stock. Those are the cheap watches you find on the market, most without paperwork and no warranty as long as they are not sold by Orient.
Are you saying that you only need to shake the watch and NOT wind it..? Just bought one and having a little trouble. Thank you

@@Dutchwatchdude Orient SK Nos too fake. These are Chinese kits. So the button doesn't work. The original only mechanism installed by the master in the Chinese kit.
Would you tell me what detail of real watch this model name? code? serial number? size? movement? function? Weight? Or you think this watch is fake It is just your only personal opinion dont have detail
