The 'Clock tuner' app is well worth the 5 dollars. The little dots reflect the difference in timing between the tick and the tock. It's the beat error. once the noise settles down you will get two likes of dots. The closer they are together the less beat error there is. I use the 'Clock tuner' app on my android phone for tuning Clocks. I love it. I use it for setting regulations and dialing in the beat error. The strange frustrating thing about it is I pay the five dollars to upgrade to the pro version to get all the features. It runs in pro mode for a couple or three days, then I see in email that my 5 dollars is refunded by someone named Irene Lee and it goes back not being in pro mode any more. I've gone through this 3 times so far. I though it might have been happening due to me disconnecting the phone from my network. I don't like it being connected to wireless all the time, but this last time (today) I had left the phone connected to the internet the entire time I was using the app after buying it again. Nope, that didn't seem to be the problem. Got a notice in email that the purchase was cancelled and my money refunded.

Pulsar quartz 2001 V103-6059 A2 550061 is the one I got, found it on the flea-market, replaced the glass, and put it on a NATO. Great little watch, I wonder how old it is, and how much it was when new.. Same hands as yours..

I just received the blue version of this watch today. It's a beautiful timepiece and to my surprise, it came with the owners manual. These watches are still in production as of today, because the owners manual is dated 2023! I thought Seiko was no longer producing Kinetic watches but I was wrong.

Thank you for the vid,my kinetic watch is supposed to run for a maximum of 14 days when fully charged but it lasts for more than a month in practice,should i be worried?

The Shanghai is an excellent watch. It is a modern made watch. Someone bought the parts and assembled these watches. The movement is a 7120 movement. Its just like the old models except its new. You need a chinese caseback opener to open the back. Its screw on. The movement is 17 jewels. I don't own the other model but its probably Newly manufactured as well. Parts and supply's are cheap in China to make these watches. They are inexpensive and everyone can afford to buy one if you want one. Most of the older watches found in China are most likely franken watches anyways so why not own a newly manufactured homage to the old models? I always look for the cheaper models and buy those. They aren't original antique watches but they function nicely. I always buy the no date hand wind models that are less complicated and are easier to work on. Enjoy.
