Thank you for the video and for disclosing this video is sponsored by Godox. The deal breakers of this microphone for me are:
    1. Its 2.4GHz radio frequency is NOT for PROFESSIONAL RECORDING. The chance that the recorder can't record in a place filled with people and their smart phones such as live events, live performances are very high. I've seen many professionals complain about this.
    2. The built-in battery of the lavalier is a waste of money & environmental disaster. It's because after one or 2 years, this type of battery will lose its charge-holding capacity very fast. When that happens, I will have to junk the mics and buy new ones. I'd rather buy more expensive lavs such as Deity Theos, Sony wireless microphone system with UHF, etc. The mics are wired to the wireless transmitters which also work as portable recorders. They use AA batteries (rechargeable or non rechargeable). These transmitters send the signals to the receiver attached to your camera so that the audio is recorded into the camera. Yes, they are more expensive but they are very reliable and last a long time.

I have a rode filmmaker great for certain situations, but there are lots of occasions when the public don't really want to go on camera - I get this all the time and try to use my shotgun mic, but its not the right environment - you then need small quick to use products like this. I get your point about the environment, but I don't see away around this to be honest. If they last 2 years at this price point it's in my budget

pretty sure PicoMic did it first and did it better - that said, the Godox unit is more affordable, the transmitter is more compact, and I will ne adding one to my action cam kit.
