Thanks for the review. I have a nice set of Pico Mic lavs for work and never want to use them for fun. I just got these Godox mics in the mail and got them all dialed in on an Insta360 Ace Pro - I used the mic under my t-shirt with the magnet on the outside and they sound great - fantastic after running through Premier Pro's simple voice enhance - one button edit. Super light and not the eye sore the bigger ROAD and DJI mics are. Very happy with the product, especially for the price and excited to use in on my next family vacation.
Thx for the reply. I guess it’s the settings inside the zoom f3 I’ll have to figure out bc it’s not picking up anything from the Godox. All the best 🙏🏻
I'm with you on this one. the Mic looks brilliant, but once you work in in build recording you can't go back. I would I bought that kit in a heartbeat if this function was available.
@@alexgabriel8557 the gain on wireless can only be done on the receiver. Btw, I never use the wireless feature AT ALL. Only the recorders on these units. That’s all I care about. The audio quality difference (any make or brand) is night to day. You don’t even need the receiver on.
@@alexgabriel8557 if you’re looking for recording features, the Godox VIRSO is an excellent system and super sound quality the only con is the big size If you don’t mind that it is larger. The X5 is also a good unit. I have both. But when I can use the Virso, I prioritize it first the better sound and the mic that they put on there.
I see you still have the Virso, a few days ago Godox support sent me firmware 1.56 which fixes the pause button to avoid accidents if pressed by mistake. Best regards
I will keep my 5 virso transmitters and the two receivers one for the sony shoe. I think they still hold up with the recording. Thank you for bringing this review right away.
Thinking to buy this. If you don't immediately need 32bit float, do you recommend this wireless kit? Are there any other products similar to this form factor that you would recommend over this? I have the Rode Wireless GO II and this wouldn't necessarily be an upgrade but I prefer the smaller form factor of this kit. I would gain the smaller form factor, however lose the internal/backup recording. Wish that was something that this also had.
As long as you don’t need crazy distances, this device will do its job. Yes, the main thing I like about it is the size of the transmitters. As for 32bit flow, I have Sound Devices which is one of the most professional field recorders out there and I still don’t use nor need their 32 bit flow, UNLESS I’m trying to shoot a scene where there’s a person whispering then stars a Lamborghini engine in 1 take. The 32 but as you know is if for dynamic range. People get lazy over 32 bit instead of getting the audio right at 24bit. Plus, no 24 bit is even supported on the internet, only if the video is played on a computer or a blu ray player.
@@ArtVideoProductions Thanks for the feedback! Yes I’m fine with 24bit and setting my levels. I love the small form factor of these and the price value is great. My only gripe is the lack of internal recording as a backup but I think I can deal with that. I now saw and have been comparing this to the Hollyland Lark M2 for the small size but again this still beats it in price. Will probably order this. Thanks.
@@dwmspace the recorder would cost more. I think this set will please you. If not, in America and many other countries, you can always return something. 🤷♂️
The menu has an option to turn off denoise. Does this disable denoise from activating when pressing the button on the recorder/transceiver? Then I don't think it will be much of a problem with a quick accidental short press.
Hello...thanks for the review. Are you planning to do a giveaway of this mic? This mic fits perfectly into my setup for youtube, ig and tiktok. I would really appreciate the handout😅🙏...just let me know where I can reach out to you

Great review! I just can’t imagine buying a wireless mic set that doesn’t have built in recording. Too many good options that have it anymore.
Yes, that’s important for redundancy and backup audio tracks.

Thank you
I have these , and also the Rode , use Rode , with external mics if you need a small footprint , Rhode have the recording option
Thanks for the review, the volume level of the microphones on the receiver screen is the sound gain of each transmitter?

@@ArtVideoProductions thanks for the answer, btw u still recommend the fulaimx5m? or there is another better option with internal recording.

great content! do you know how to make this unit xt1 magic work with the zoom f3 recorder?

Does anyone know latency?

The menu has the option to turn it off, but as soon as you hit the button on the transmitter it will override and turn it back on.
@@ArtVideoProductions ok thanks, that's really not good. I hope that's something that can be added/fixed with firmware.
