Ripe bananas, chocolate casein protein powder, water till fill line, lite ice cream spin, re-spin, enjoy!
Your all animal Abusaaaas fairlife abuses their cows 🐄
Thanks... this is the perfect base for most of my icecreams
Just got the machine and tried regular choc milk. I’m so glad I saw this video.
Thanks for sharing 😊
I didn't realize how much that little 1/4tsp of Xanthan Gum thickens the mixture. I made a batch to just drink as a malt, purposely didn't add Xanthan, and when I hit the go button on my little mixer stuff went EV-RY-WHERE!!! What a mess lol! Lesson learned :)
doesnt you get a weird aftertaste from the xantham gum? for me it tastes like shit; I already do my ice creams without it...
I made the opposite mistake.
I decided to eyeball the xanthan gum and added a heaping soup spoon 😅
The poor creami whipped it up into a marangue/taffy like consistency. It was not pleasant to eat.
Very good recipes
Thanks for this info, I have just bought one as I am lactose intolerant. In Queensland Australia we only have one lactose free company making icecream available to buy in our supermarkets. I know we can get xanthan gum here, so I will use that. 😊
Thank you!!! Amazing simple recipes taste delicious
Woher kriegst du Fairlife in Deutschland?
You are the only one I've seen use cottage cheese I hate cottage cheese but this is an epic use of it especially upping the protein content I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
1:05, Make sure to scrape that knob/bump down, or else the machine will break more easily over time!
That happening is literally my biggest fear
Pretty sure you can put the pint in a bowl of hot water for a bit and the sides shouldn’t stick anymore
Fairlife Chocolate milk is the best!
Tip:
On the deluxe use the FroYo mode
Great ideas, thanks ❣️
I don’t have a creami but I’ll try this in my vitamix
Plus, Promised Land makes the best tasting chocolate milk and strawberry too and I hope you try it in your creami.
I will have to give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation!
Have you tried both cottage cheese and xanthan gum together to make it super thick?
Yes, I cut that part from the video (was running long already). It works, but I'd only use 1/4 tsp of Xanthan.
I dont usually like the taste of protein powder. Which tastes better, fairlife or your winning protein powder? Also maybe try core power elite. Way more protein amd fewer carbs.
The winning protein powder with 1 tablespoon of dark cocoa powder added is what I like best.
@@LowCalNinja-qf4ye more than this fair life?
Yes, I prefer PES protein ice cream over fairlife.
@LowCalNinja-qf4ye Thats interesting. I tried that PEScience protein powder as a shake and it wasn't great. Creami magic I guess.
Have you ever tried using Loranns oils in ice creams? I tried a whole bunch of them and I wouldn't recommend them except for one
Which one would you recommend? I never had them before. I've liked some sugar free syrups, but don't have a strong recommendation.
@@LowCalNinja-qf4ye For starters, Loranns has several extracts - bakery emulsions/super strength but I used their FLAVOR FOUNTAIN one which they're marketing specifically for beverages and ice cream, I tried 15 different ones. In case you're interested, don't waste your time with the fruit ones. They will all taste too artificial and you're better off using real fruit or fruit juice in an ice cream. I take it back, there are two that I recommend. Their mint chocolate one is good, give it a mild mint flavor. But the best one by far is the orange creamsicle flavor. I happen to be a big fan of that flavor - I put in a good vanilla protein powder with it, and the balance of cream/orange was perfect.
we need to see a video on how to refreshen it. Basically i never eat the entire pint and put it back in freezer for the next day. I can never seem to get it creamy again.
Great idea. I need to do some research, but will keep this topic in mind for a future video
Does greek yogurt work as well as cottage cheese?
It does, but you will get some of the Greek yogurt flavor/aftertaste coming through.
I’m thinking of adding chocolate protein powder
Go for it! That'd be very chocolately. BTW, I have an in depth video about chocolate protein powders here: ua-cam.com/video/tEM_3tNZnGs/v-deo.html
Great video! I've been using my Creami about 4 times a week. My favorite recipes are peanut butter protein powder with Butterfinger bites :)
1. 1 scoop peanut butter protein powder, 2 (sometimes 3, I really like PB) tbsp great value peanut butter powder, 1/4 tsp xanthan gum, milk, spin up on lite ice cream, then add 3/4 cup of butterfinger bites and remix
2.1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 or 2 tbsp great value peanut butter powder, 1/4 tsp xanthan gum, milk, spin up on lite ice cream, then add 1 piece caramel rice cake (crumble it up), and remix. Its like an ice cream cone now :) I use Quaker brand rice cakes.
3.1 scoop Mint Chocolate Chip protein powder (my powder is white), 1/4 tsp xanthan gum, milk, 1 DROP LEAF GREEN food coloring if using white-ish colored protein powder (from frosting aisle) spin up on lite ice cream, then add 1 piece Quaker caramel rice cake (crumble it up), and remix. IMPORTANT...only 1 (ONE) drop food coloring, 2 MAX!!! Green Leaf gives the light green color.
Our PB recipes are identical!
When you say, rice cake, are you talking about the Quaker ones? I haven't tried them in a creami before and will have to try that out.
@@LowCalNinja-qf4ye Yes, I use the Quaker brand caramel flavor rice cakes. I edited my comment with that info. The caramel doesn't add any flavor, just adds some crunchy to the ice cream :)
Sadly the majority that has lactose intolerance also have Casein intolerance, so they can't do milk at all. It's more your freezer, not the cold milk. Mine freeze around 12 hours
Thanks for the info. Got any good recipes for no dairy or vegan that I should try out? I am really trying to bring simple recipes for all diets to the Creami.
This is just not true
YOU ACTUALLY USED SORBET INSTEAD OF LIGHT ICE CREAM
Yeah, the modes are very similar and comes out about the same. I actually do Sorbet first, then respin on Lite.
I decided to go with the simplest instructions rather than complicate the matter.
unnecessary amount of sugar bruv
Very true. Let me know if you find a good recipe with xantham gum that I can try, I just got my creami so I'm looking for recipes
