Hes still got it, hes like Mr. Rogers. He and Mr. Rogers were the best because they knew how to truly talk to children/people in general. They didnt talk down to us.
In reality he felt like being the host of blue clue's wasn't going to ever help him get nookie. He got into detail about it on his standup show. Pretty funny story but fully understandable.

Like Steve basically turned us right back into children the moment he showed up on the screen. ❤️
If you mean becoming a spineless, p.c. unforgiving, cancel culture fanatic, then yes, the millenial generation and on are doing fine. But if Blues Clues taught otherwise then cool.
I showed this to my cousin,he's a big man now, but he started crying and laughing at the same time, and we both stated crying, damn you Steve, we forgive you, we never forget about you too, ,lost but found by Blue, 💠
People like Steve are a rarity in this world, I never say this about anybody actually. Angels are physical people that comes and goes and once they're gone we won't know when another will pop up in existence.
My mom used to complain that I watched Blues Clues past my age range, I was too old to be watching a little kid show she would say. But something about it I just loved. Growing up to hear all the horror stories of kids shows and this one never became it. I picked the right person to watch even back then. ❤❤❤ Someone said on another video and it’s perfect “this was the closure I didn’t know I needed”
I, myself, a 27 years old guy. When I was in school, every morning I used to wake up from bed and watched Blues Clues on Nickelodeon. Now it has been a year since I graduated from University. Blues Clues was one of those tv shows I still miss the most.
... Why can't just life be back as simple as it used to be a be... The first thing I'd do after waking up was start watching Blue ...i love you man with all my heart, thank you so much for everything!
Wow I'm 37 n it feels that way 😢😂 had to come back to this video. Even my kids knew that Steve went to college. Shocked me when I asked them that question. Where did Steve go? " o mom, Steve went to college". I thought that was just adorable .
Happy to see that he still cares ❤. This gave me tears of joy. This may sound weird but what he starred a show one for the adult mix with some kids stuff. Taking about life an family and love 💘 ❤ 💕 .
You can literally see him turn into a kid... the way he nods, and just becomes the little boy who watched the show. That was beautiful to watch. Not many things pull out the inner child in us... It sucks how life pushes that out of us...
I am glad we still friends too Steve I never forgot u never will u made my child hood great u gave me best advice to use now I was sad when u left for College I was used to u when I was little u made the show I cried and broke heart when u left idk at time why but u look great we love u thanks for helping us I never forgot u never
I love that my guy is smiling, nodding, and mouthing "yeah" and such at the same places I did. AND IT'S THE NEVER FORGOT YOU LINE THAT DOES ME IN, TOO!
I’m was born like the last year of gen Z 2010 but I still watched Steve/blues clues everyday and even tho it hasn’t been over 10 years for me it still like damn 😭😭😭
Steve became like a parent to me. I was in foster care for a very long time and never really had my parents around, and the ones i was with were horrible to me and my sister. I always looked forward to steve on tv when i was able to watch what i wanted. I cried so hard when he left, i knew it was for good reasons but then this clip came out and i felt like i was a kid again watching him on tv but when he said "its been hard" i broke because i went through a very dark time and tried to off myself. I felt so alone and i cried so hard when he said he never forgot us. I felt that he still cares and loves us. I finally felt complete.
The reasons he left the show have been subject to rumors. He wanted to do more with music, acting. And well He was suffering from early male pattern baldness and felt the kids shouldn't see their "Friend" going bald on tv.
How is it that hes talking to us, grown a$$ men and women and we are here listening to him and about to cry. We’re not seven anymore but dang it Steve!!
Now that I've thought about, I have came to an additional conclusion to what I already said a few months ago. In the event that this country finds itself in turmoil, heartache, misery, or any other form of chaos (like we have for the last two years), Steve would be the perfect adult in the room. When the first inception of Blue's Clues was on from 1996 to 2004, here's what was going on: Bill Clinton got impeached for getting blown in the Oral Office, Columbine happened, fears of the Y2K bug were high, there was the confusion surround the 2000 Presidential Election between Bush and Gore, the Wars in Afghanistan and (though Steve was gone by this point) Iraq had begun, and not only was the show on when September 11th happened, but the show was filmed in NYC's Tribeca district (which is in lower Manhattan and just a few blocks away from the World Trade Center). Steve would be the perfect adult in the room to address the nation, not some of these politicians in DC. Steve would also be the perfect adult in the room considering the fact that most people born between 1991 and 2005 grew up with Steve as the adult in the room. Lastly, when I said that Steve and the show will never know how much of an impact he had on an entire generation of kids, myself included, I wasn't just talking about those who watched the show. Allow me to explain. I said that Sesame Street and Mister Rogers Neighborhood helped grow kids educational television in the 70s and 80s while Steve and Blue's Clues helped shape kids educational television in the 90s and 00s. If you look at other shows that came on after Blue's Clues, you will see that a lot of them had similar elements towards Blue's Clues. On Nick Jr. alone, there was Dora the Explorer, Team Umizoomi (which featured Joe in it), and Bubbles Guppies. Not only on Nick Jr., but also their competitors were inspired by them. On Playhouse Disney/Disney Jr., the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse had inspirations from Blue's Clues. On PBS Kids, there was a show called Super Why. Not only did Super Why have a ton of similarities to Blue's Clues, but one of the people who worked on Super Why also worked on Blue's Clues. In fact, going a step further, one of Super Why's production companies was called "Out of the Blue", an homage to the worker's former project. So even if you didn't watch Blue's Clues, you probably watched one of the other shows I mentioned. That's what I mean when I say that Steve influenced an entire generation of kids, regardless of if you watched Blue's Clues or not, and regardless of if you watched Nick Jr. or not.
@@trapjohnson This is late , but I'm only a '91 myself and being honest I felt barely outside edge of Blue's audience as I was aging out as it started (late '96?).
