I love Fury, if not just for the actions but for the dialogues and comradery.
Do you think Hitler would fvck one of us for a chocolate bar?
If you like Fury, you'll enjoy Band of Brothers
Absolutely bro … there are so many scenes in the tank and the one in the apartment in Poland I think with the young girl . That scene is awesome all around !
If you want a bit more modern Generation Kill HBO series 👌
Listening to David speak about the effects of art and gatekeeping makes me want to see the Ayer Cut even more.
This is one of my favorite movies and quite frankly YOU made the movie. All your scenes were acted to perfection. The crossroads scene when yall decide to fight it out with the German battalion makes me cry every time.
I just finished season 2 of The Bear man Jon Bernthal acting had me on the edge of my seat over a fork 😂
I had no idea that David Ayer is resposible for Fast and furious being set in LA. Fucking crazy bro. #releasetheayercut
Fury will go down as one of the best war films in history
“Art is a nuclear weapon… art is so ridiculously powerful.” 🔥
Shia Lebouf and Ben foster are the most underrated actors in Hollywood. If some movie stupid were to buy my script and send me a bunch of money to make a movie. Ben foster and Shia are going to be my stars.
Shia us great but you know, from the studio perspective, he's problematic
@@MsTriangleoh do you work in the studios
Street Kings is so damn good and underrated.
Jon this one touched me deep in my soul. I completely relate to your guest, I too grew up in the foster-care system, have been on my own since I was 15-16 years old, lived in some not so wonderful areas. I am now what many consider "a successful businessowner" , have a few $ in the bank, have a strong bond with my kiddos but as your guest will tell you growing up the way we did the fear of waking up and being on helpless never goes away.
I would be therapeutic for those of who have beat the system, beat the statics and manage to live a good life; it would be food to our souls to know there are more like us out there.
Wonderful interview David Ayer...May your success continue and may you always stay humble.
Fury is a masterpiece. What a great interview.
I love Fury, and it was the first time I ever saw Jon in a movie or TV. Now I try and watch whatever he’s doing.
you should watch the 2nd season of daredevil
David wrote a badass little movie called “ dark blue “ with Kurt Russell. It’s like the original street kings. I love how he explores.
I have to admit Jon plays a lot of unlikable roles but day to day he is a laid back and awesome guy.
a versatile man that really does know how to connect. No matter what he is in.. the best Punisher ever. The other Punishers were amazaing but that series was flawless
@@gdubya83 Hope it comes back!
@@gdubya83It really was! I couldn’t stop watching …
My top 3 favorite movie of all time
My favourite war movie of all time.
I became a fan of ALL things Jon Bernthal after FURY 🤘
Love to see this man put yourself and Ben Affleck back into a sequel from the Accountant world. His comment on service and worthiness, appreciated.
Fury really had an impact for me. I was living in Israel at the time, serving in the IDF, my unit was part of an operation in Gaza in the summer of 2014, that Fall I had a month leave to fly back to the States to see my family, went and saw this with my dad in the theater and I thought it was just a really well done, honest war film
Lebanon 2009 is a great war film its also set in a tank but its shot entirely inside the tank
i wish i could have a conversation with someone like jon. someone that makes you feel that youre being listened and his ivested in the moment
I love Fury is one of the best movies I seen, David work has been a big influence to me. You guys should watch Vinland Saga, is very connected to what you were talking about in this clip, violence and self conscious and finding the path to redemption, and transform the world. I really think you're gonna love it Jon and David. Saludos!
Thank you Jon for this i really love the podcast and David is natural storyteller you can see by the way he talks about life in general not just him but you as well. God bless you both
Such a genuine podcast. Keep up the good work, brother.
Best job I ever had
FURY has to be one of the best WW2 movies ever made ,great acting ,brotherhood, great writing and the horror of war ,i absolutely love that movie ,seen it in the theaters and seen it at least 5 times on physical media, david ayer is a tremendous writer and director, love all his films , gritty and real as fuck
Well I just found you, popped up randomly, but I really appreciate your mission! Keep keeping it real man!
Great movie one of Ayers best.
Rewatching the walking dead 🙌🙌 Jon what a champion 🔥🔥
Fury is a classic to me and it's not even 10 years old. Say what you want about David Ayer, not every film is a winner for whatever reason, pick one.
But when he hits, HE HITS.
Wow - Ayers incredible.
Excellent film!
Niiiiice one 🤟❤️
Cheers to greatness
Street kings, fury, and end of watch are David’s best movies.
Street kings is insanely underrated
That orange hoodie, I keep thinking he just got out of somebody's County jail.😂😂
“Art is a nuclear weapon” gonna remember that. Thanks Dave
Underrated movie. Such a great film. Felt like I was in that tank with them 💪💯
Protect him at all cost
The only war movie my wife loves too!
If you think "Fury" is good , go see " End of Watch" imo his best movie
Still my favorite War movie I know that’s fucked up to say because it’s true shit that happened, and then you know saving private Ryan is one of the best war movies, I just love Fury so much shit is awesome
Great movie cool guy
My boy david!!!! Whats up boss
This was a cool discussion, but what did it have to do with Fury? I don't recall them mentioning the movie once in this clip
FURY = Remote dropper every time
Ugh, I just REALLY want James Gunn and WBD to #ReleaseTheAyerCut
Dude I thought it was so badass that Shia would legit cut himself to be in character. Shia has the makings to be the next marlon Brando
Primordial magic leaking through the system? Jesus Christ lol. David Ayer is fantastic with his words 😂
Street kings, Fury, End Of Watch.
Liked Fury for the WWII Military Hardware, The Tiger Tank scene was Fucking Epic. Real German Tiger Tank. Operating. I'm a Motor Head an Firearm Nutso.. I'm American. (gun culture)...... My Dad WWII..... My GrandDads both. WWI.
🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Fuckin great movie. Jon’s the man
No filter holy shit
Jon Bernthal is what Joe Rogan wishes to be. Respect.
a lot 19 and 20 year old PFC's from no name infantry units did fighting in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, and they had to do it with weak gear.
The special forces worship gets old at times pretending they did everything over the last 50 years.
The lord asked who shall i send????? I said, send me…….

Make Art ! :)
Is he still holding the fork?
David Ayer is a better writer then director.
Yeah…. so there was no “untold story behind fury”
Two millionaires philosophizing about the world (kinda). Yawn.
Kinda got the same Vibe, Yada, Yada, Yada... I'm from South Philadelphia .Hollywood has no idea what real street thugs are about..
People think Brad Pitt is the star of fury. Nahh, homie. Shia is the quarterback.
The blown off face.
On the next episode of douche ones with Jon Berenthallalal
Everybody wants the Ayer cut, literally every single person
Two grown men pretending to be much harder and street than they really are. “Real ones” and tough guys don’t talk about their feelings and their emotional journey and bullsh*t like this.
Posted from mama's basement surrounded by participation trophies
Haha John don't gaf who u hate 😂 he gonna interview them. From cornballs to real life directors
To domestic abusers he calls his friends
@@NG-ez2bx You mean like the woman who molested -raped her sister? That was disgusting.
Jon always loves me, fuck everyone else ❤
What was his excuse for the tax collector for being a trash movie Lmao 🤣 form what i Hurd Netflix put the movie out and let him do whatever. I think David’s movies are better when a movie producer comes in and says “hey this is trash, take this out.”
Türkçe altyazılı getir abim
I’m sorry l, but tax collector, and sabatoge are complete garbage. And those are the two movies that David had the most control over.
Jesus Effin Christ…If there is a longer way to answer a question, please don’t share it. Talk about taking a Billy Madison route to answer a question. FFS
That movie was so well put together and Mudbound was the $#!+. The Wolfs Call and The Command if you want to go under water. Nic Cage in USS indianapolis was a good one. Too many to name
Private Ryan was no Slouch of a WWII Flick. My Dad WWII GI. My Granddads Both WWI. The Military Hardware was epic in Fury,
8:40 If the movie THE MATRIX didn't transform the world & wake everyone up, then nothing will. It's a perfect movie -amazing special effects, amazing plot & action sequences, and a great metaphor as message. And yet the vast majority of people who watched it still didn't wake up or really get it.
Air Force & Most Army are babysitters. fighting in a air conditioned war much ? haha
fury was so innacurate Germans were outnumbered not the Americans
just come out of the closet jon it's ok in 2023
What makes you think he's gay? Does he look gay to you? He's too masculine to be gay.
