Jules. He was Brady's favorite for many years. He was my favorite for his entire career. Belichick loved him as well. His work ethic, his passion, his dedication, he willingness to leave it all on the field. Dude was clutch, and you can see his humility during this interview. The NE Patriots made winning in Boston a must. Prior to them, it was the Bruins in the seventies, and the Celtics in the 60's-80"s. We love you Jules. Thank you sir. You made us proud.
For real. I miss his fire. LOVED how he was always scrapping in the run block game, never mind the drive in the SB against the Seahawks where he took that death shot from Chancellor. Xoxo squirrel
The Ironman!!! Julian Edelman is the MAN!!! One of the most if not THE most reliable slot threats in the history of the game. One of the toughest MFers your ever gonna see & one hell of a nice guy. He was always the best at the open to the public training camp days. One of my favorite players to watch. PATRIOTS FOR LIFE!!!!
Edelman is the ultimate Patriot! It doesn’t matter how much praise and credit you put on him and his game, it will never be enough. He’s better and more deserving than words can possibly explain!
These are two cats that I have MAD respect for. LOVED this interview! JE11 was an elite receiver that made miracles happen. I would love to see him return (especially to New England) but he is correct. He left it ALL on the field. When you see that you're not able to play to the peak of your ability, it's time to hang it up. Thank you for giving it your ALL J.E. It was a pleasure to watch you play ❤ GO Pats!
Always get a kick out of people calling Edelman “average, “slightly above average”, “over achiever” etc like he’s some unathletic scrub, who got the most out of his ability. He returned five punts for touchdowns in his career. Deion had six. I think he belongs in the HOF for his postseason career alone. Performance against Legion of Boom in Super Bowl 49 was remarkable.
As a life long pats fan growing up in New England i miss this dude so much right now ima huge Edelman fan and still a pats fan but i feel like we need his kind of energy on this team so bad
This guy is awesome, I'm not a pats fan but I love how Edelman was a 7th round pick and took advantage of his opportunity, he worked very hard for everything he achieved in the NFL
I love to see that even great athletes are hard on themselves. In my line of work at times I feel like I'm the worst performer and then bosses will come tell me I'm doing great and keep promoting me. Being like this keeps me on my toes.
I met John with my family actually. He really wanted to chat with my baby boy, so now I have a picture of the punisher making my kid bawl, which I obviously framed and it's a great moment in my life. But I digress, I'm glad John has this channel and these talks with truly interesting people. It's a great thing he is doing and I hope he continues with it for a long time.
Can’t believe I’m seeing these two together because I’m a diehard Walking Dead Shane fan and diehard Jules fan literally my favorite actor and athlete so this absolutely shocked me/ pumped me up its like when worlds collide 😝🤘🏻
The guy after his last game in college drove a half hour to 45min to a receiver camp before the combine to go from QB to slot wide receiver you have to be tough and driven as all hell
I’m not a fan of the patriots by any means but I am a fan of Julian Edelman. The obstacles he overcame to play in the league and to become a champion while playing for the patriots
Huge fan of "Punisher" seasons; of Bernthal as an actor; a Rogan segment brought me to Bernthal's podcast, and I have to say, the most recurring comment I see is the appreciation that fans of his show have for Jon's allowing the guest to be the focal point of the show. Joe does this, too. I've seen a number of other hosts that hijack the sit-down by talking too much, or ask the guest questions that they themselves try to also answer with a follow-up statement on the question--not this guy. It's clearly a noticeable characteristic of his show, and like so many other supporters of his work, I appreciate the space he gives his guests and substance he gives the audience.
waddup fella's?! Hope you & Jon keep doin the damn thing. Great episode! It's weird, most of the time nowadays when I run into a pat's fan they always complain. Have bad attitudes & pout. Was always fun watching you ball my'man! Dunno why some patriot's fans have to pout about after winning so many super bowls.....
I really identify with the guy because he's my size, and he's had these extraordinary accomplishments. He's owned himself, uses his size and strengths to his advantage, carries great confidence, energy, and belief in himself, and has led teammates twice his size. "You gotta believe...it's gonna be one helluva story" No excuses 😍💪
I know what he’s talking about. I’m not an athlete but a drummer in a band that performs in front of people. That level he’s talking about comes from practice and competition with yourself. You have to realize the “moment” is now! This is why we practice over and over. Go do it! Love JE he’s the man and I watched him do it as a Pats fan in the day. Bet he’s got ADD, that’s why he’s so good… just sayin. Cool channel bub!
Yo, Jon and the real ones crew, you guys are so awesome, i want realones merch man, yall gotta get a merch line going. Also, i wanna meet yall, this is such a cool thing your doing, and damn julian elderman, your awesome to come on and talk about this dude
Please interview Mike Glover from field craft survival as well as Shawn Ryan from Vigilance Elite If you can have them on at the same time it would be amazing.
Love you Jon but I and all the walking dead fans are probably 5% of the population who recognize as Shane more than the Punisher.. YOU WERE A LEGEND PLAYING SHANE! YOU CRUSHED IT! ILL HATE SHANE TIL I DIE.. but Ill always love me some Jon Bernthal. You are a killer actor. #FuckShane You should do a Rick & Shane prequel!!
Edelman was the type of player that no matter what team you pulled for you respected the man, the player. Only a handful of guys that are NON QBs that to me have earned that level.
One of the things I appreciate about Jon is he listens instead of talking over the guest, A lot of interviewers should take note
truth. there's that line, "when someone else is speaking, are you listening, or are you just waiting to speak?" And he's definitely listening.
Honestly thats what I love about this podcast. He’ll ask questions and sit there and listen without interrupting every couple of seconds.
💯
Should listen to Huberman or Fridman
They won’t and Jon will be the guy
Julian was one of my favorites growing up on Football, He's a good dude
Games with Names Jules’ new podcast with comedian Sam Morril, it’s great 🔥
@@d4nKm3rman Sam morril sucks
His podcast is fucking amazing bro if you havent seen/heard it.

Nahhh gronk was always Bradys fav
@@MegaBenjamin I can get behind that for the regular season. Jules ALL day in the postseason.
I was not expecting to see Julian on this show. Can’t wait for the full episode.
Julian Edelman is a monster. Took huge shots all the time. Love that guy!
Plus he even sounds like he’s from Boston! Cool dude. Forgot he was here 12 years wow
For real. I miss his fire. LOVED how he was always scrapping in the run block game, never mind the drive in the SB against the Seahawks where he took that death shot from Chancellor. Xoxo squirrel
One of the best receivers of all time. Greatest clutch receiver of all time. 3rd and long, you're looking for Jules. Foxboro misses you big dawg.
Love your interviews man! Please keep it up. Respect & Happy Holidays Jon!!!
This man taught me a lot. For football that carries me through life. Will always keep my head down and grind
Julian is a perfect example of heart and talent over size. He may 1 in a 1000 to make it in the NFL yet he did it and he is a Super Bowl winner.
PED'S
1 in 50,000, the nfl isn’t that easy to get a shot.
@@ghdh166.he’s a Super Bowl mvp
@@ghdh166. wayy lower than that tbh when you consider all of the people who dont even try because they have no shot and they know it

I met Edelman in person and he was such a humble, cool dude.
Edelman is the ultimate Patriot!

Always a pleasure seeing a new upload

The fact that Shannon Sharpe said he’s not a Hall of Famer pissed me off. I think Julian Edelman is one of the best ever to play the game.
Not even a death blow💀 from Chancellor could slow the squirrel down during crunch time.
Great interview with Edleman Jon! Love your podcast and especially your authentic approach to life and what you are trying to do with these shows.
Jon went to Sidwell Friends. Hardly "blue collar." LOL
Lmfao i went to RPI. Thanks for the shoutout bro
Love the podcasts I wish full episodes were on youtube and/or you could watch them on spotify
As a life long pats fan growing up in New England i miss this dude so much right now ima huge Edelman fan and still a pats fan but i feel like we need his kind of energy on this team so bad
Jules had another 2-3 years in him, Brady leaving affected him
Jules knee meniscus left him
This guy is awesome, I'm not a pats fan but I love how Edelman was a 7th round pick and took advantage of his opportunity, he worked very hard for everything he achieved in the NFL
A lot like Wes Welker before him, Welker was undrafted and became a star through hard work
Ty for this interview
I love to see that even great athletes are hard on themselves. In my line of work at times I feel like I'm the worst performer and then bosses will come tell me I'm doing great and keep promoting me. Being like this keeps me on my toes.
What a great f*cking dialogue for athletes or anyone in any competitive environment to hear, bravo
Life is definitely hard. Knowing what to do is the ways part. Following through is growing up.

Damn Jon, you really be doing it.
Good stuff man! And thank you for being vulnerable and pushing it.

Two of my faves Jon and Jules.
great podcast , 2 great people talking life ❤
One thing about guys that are above the rest is they all put in the hard work. And constantly train . Jon does great interviews. Julian was great.
Being a hard worker isn’t always tough. But working hard for yourself is the challenge.
Nailed that! Great quote!
Great Podcast
Couldnt wait..
So Glad I've found his Podcast. Jon and his guests are my people. A little Grimey and Hood but they're workers and have Values. Love it
I’m not a fan of the patriots by any means but I am a fan of Julian Edelman. The obstacles he overcame to play in the league and to become a champion while playing for the patriots
Thank you Jules for those amazing years with the Patriots!
O sh- !! Julian Edelman
Your going to new heights Jon, keep up w/ the podcast wrk and I’ll continue to support 👍🏽👍🏽
Love you Jules. So many great fucking memories man. Go Pats!
I'm from Massachusetts when jules was first in the league we had wes welker so he did not play much but I knew he was going to be a total stud
Awesome. JB is great at this.
Huge under dog. Big time gamer. Great career.
Jules is 100000% a HOF. Anyone who disagrees is a casual.
Julian is an exceptional human being.

If an actor would ever happen to play Julian, it would be John. My favorite receiver and one of the best of all time.
Great episode! I absolutely love Edelman! SO talented, funny and kind not to mention super hot. GO PATRIOTS!
The amount that New England loves Jules can’t be measured on any scale

Jon is the best bro I feel like he is such a great person
Great work Jon 👊
Man I miss Jules being on the team.
DETROIT is one helluva sports town too.
Boston, Detroit, Cleveland are similar cities.
Jon is a savage as an actor, and Julian is a Hall of Fame receiver, in my opinion. This was an outstanding interview that I wish lasted 4 hours.
I really identify with the guy because he's my size, and he's had these extraordinary accomplishments. He's owned himself, uses his size and strengths to his advantage, carries great confidence, energy, and belief in himself, and has led teammates twice his size. 50/1 superb bowl MVP winner. +5000 for my American's friends.
Edelman is a certified legend.
1 of the best receivers of his generation.
The Squirrel and The Punisher you love to see it baby!
Jon it’s time to upgrade that raptor

Belichick drafted him as a QB and turned him into a WR.
Brady even says he can’t believe how Bill turned a QB into a top WR.
Please interview Mike Glover from field craft survival as well as Shawn Ryan from Vigilance Elite
If you can have them on at the same time it would be amazing.
God I miss watching Jules play!
Jules was talking about reggie wayne
Where is the full video?
One of the greatest players of all time . Thx for the vid . I wish the best would come back to New England, but I understand if they don’t .
He’s talking about Ocho who came in as a superstar and couldn’t cut it in New England. He got by on pure talent and that doesn’t cut it in New England
Jules is a G!
Skidmore has baseball team? Div 3?
This guy has more fight in him then this whole generation combined
Edelman was the type of player that no matter what team you pulled for you respected the man, the player. Only a handful of guys that are NON QBs that to me have earned that level.
Hey jon, big fan, are you making any new movies?
i have to pay to watch full episode? bummer
As a die hard giants fan I love how he hates the jets more then us lol
Iceman from the X-Men
Sparky Davis from South Boston??? You lived there? Curious about this one 😂 Jon-boy your stock just plummeted.
Is it me or do Jon and Julian sound alike?
Edelman needs to start taking care of his beard and line it up 👍🏿😞
julian edelman is THE epitome of hard work and heart
I know you're trying to make money but you should take down the paywall....
Been interested since the Shia episode
Juls was the ultimate competitor along side Brady
Miss that squirrel
It's silly how people think sports are so important with all the things going on in thew world.
JULES!
Would have been funnier if he was wearing a shirt that said “Jew” Jitsu seeing as they are both badass Jews
Thought Julian would take a year off and join the Bucs -- did not happen
yeah the "real ones" ;))) goofy podcast
Best Punisher was Thomas Jane, it's an awful role for anyone. But if you act like De Niro and pretend you are menstrual then you get something else.
These podcasts are AWSOME , COULD YOU DO MORE WITH THOSE TWO L A COPS. THAT WAS FASCINATING.
Edelman belongs in the HOF. He was that good and that instrumental in multiple huge wins including Super Bowls
Love Edelman hate the Pats
DM the loser above me
❤❤
lol that's cause his veins are popping with tren during those big games!!
Chad Johnson was terrible for patriots.
