Jon saying he had so many opportunities to learn that lesson but cunts like those guys at the party need a lesson.
They need to bump in to people who can and will stand up to them and have them understand there is people out there that will fuck your night/life up even at the risk of derailing their own life.
Well done man but glad you came out other side of it way you did.

The beautiful thing is how Shane’s beliefs in the early years became the lessons that Rick learned in the years after Shane’s death. Like Shane’s sacrifice became Rick’s strength. Which by proxy is as also the group’s strength. Such phenomenal writing AND acting. Especially by Job.

It’s amazing that, when asked “when was your big break you think?”, his first response is that story. In his eyes, his big break in life was being shown hell through a small window and given another shot. It wasn’t some successful movie or show he was on. Instead, the first thing that comes to mind is this rebirth moment he had that changed his life. That was his “big break”. What an introspective guy

He's one of the very few (unfortunately) actors that will say hello to every morning to everyone on set reguardless if your a production assistant, grip, or director! He even went out of his way and threw our production wrap party when production wouldn't (because of COVID). We had a kid at the company I work for about 15 years ago or so. He had 3 Microsoft Certifications and was studying for his 4th. He was doing phone support for our external customers. The website in question only worked on IE. He came to me and asked for help. I asked him what version of IE the customer had. He said "that's the thing, when I have him go to Help>About, it says "About AOL." I just looked at him and said "they are using AOL's browser, not IE."......."OHHH! my dad judges himself harshly but he judges people on TV even more than himself, and I think it's because he sees what other people reflect that he sees in himself. Personally, I think you handled your mistakes better than a lot of people do. Yeah life isn't perfect, most people don't get recognized for changing for the better, but when someone does, it's always nice to see cause it helps me deal with the idea that I can be better too. I've always wanted to be a good person that helped others when I was growing up, no matter the profession.

I love his character work, his work in Fury was Fantastic. I'm glad people are aware of him and he found his place in the sun. Because he's obviously trusted his process along the way and doing so has always stood out as an amazing talent.

Adore Jon Bernthal. Awesome to see him! My son introduced me to him through Daredevil, and then The Punisher. We then watched TWD and I was psyched to see that he was an original cast member. He is an absolutely fabulous actor. Hope his career continues and he has more and more oppotunities to shine. God bless you, Jon. :)

@Far7rom I never thought I'd like any of the shows my son got me to watch with him. I was quite surprised by the depth of TWD. It's not really about the Walkers, is it? It's about those who are still living and wrestling and those who have turned into mindless living zombies, living in vain. ;) Never judge something by it's "cover" until you investigate. I agree. Well-crafted. Best show *ever*? I'm 54.. lol. I've seen many many great works of art. Have a great day!

    • @eltravos99

He only died because he stood up for the person that created the show. Frank Darabont, the director of Green Mile, created the tv show Walking Dead based on the comics. The show was a hit. Then AMC fired him right before season 2. A bunch of the cast were upset and took his side. Including Jon Bernthal, the actress who played Lori and the actor who played Dale. All 3 killed off for their defiance. It's the reason why Shane's death made no sense. It's the reason why Hershel was introduced to take the place of Dale as the moral center.
