- The Spa Valley Railway hosted their annual Summer Steam Festival over the 1st & 2nd July 2017
The event featured three steam and one diesel locomotives in action with a two train service and thirteen road engines as well vintage cars on display at Eridge plus drive for a fiver and model railway layouts in action at Tunbridge Wells.

Hunslet 0-6-0ST No.1982 "Ring Haw"(visiting on-loan from the North Norfolk Railway)
Hunslet 0-6-0ST No.2705 "Beatrice"(visiting from the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway)

Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns 0-6-0ST No.62 "Ugly"
British Railways Class 31 No.31289 "Phoenix"( replacement for Vulcan Austerity 0-6-0ST no. 72 "Vulcan", which was withdrawn two days prior to the event due to overrunning maintenance)

Thanks mate. The first two shots with "Ring Haw & Beatrice" are taken just north Birchden Junction(between Eridge and Groombridge) and yes I have heard the BR Standard tank No.80078 is visiting next month for the 25th Anniversary Gala.
Nice video! Shame I could not make it. The other visiting steam loco was nice. Hopefully next weekend I can make it to the spa valley to see her. Are you going to the bluebell next weekend to see the City of Wells. :)
Thanks mate. Hope you do go to the Spa Valley next weekend to see "Beatrice" in action. I will be going to the Bluebell Railway on Friday 7th, but I'm may go on Saturday or Sunday if I decided to do those days instead.
