Are any of the yealinks able to work without connecting to an ethernet? Can it connect via ethernet to the PC? and the PC is getting internet via wifi?
You’re looking for the USB phone then. Like the MP50 that I should have linked the description. It connects to a PC and the user account ties in with the Teams account on the PC too.
This phone doesn't have built-in WiFi but it does have internet via the RJ45 ethernet port. Because of that, it works without a computer to make any type of calls. The phone you're thinking of is most likely the USB only phone, which is the Yealink MP50 USB amzn.to/4aXOcXh. The MP50 USB would needs a computer to place calls. The phone account is then linked to the account signed in on the PC.
Do you have a video or are you planning a vidoe on the expansion module?
I do not. I did not have a customer yet that needed it.

I thought you couldn't use this phone without being connected to a computer? Are you able to make an external call or contact only calls?
