Thank you and happy loom knitting! :) - Навчання та стиль
This is a great tutorial. I've learned that peg count doesn't matter just the actual size of the loom. So any little loom could work. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you!
I didn't know that until you said it, THANK you! I have a loom that small but with twice as many pegs, now I can try this (just with smaller yarn I suppose), and am expecting my first baby soon!
Can't wait to try these as soon as I have my flower loom 😁
I have just made some for my grandson and I started off with the drawstring cast on and worked it that way. It did close up lovely.
Omg these are so sweet
Great easy pattern
Thank you
On the cast off where you go to the left I have to go right. Being right handed its easier. Love this video its so simple. Good because I have a great-grandson born in Aug. another one in Feb and a grandson next May. Gonna be busy. Thank you for these video's
Thank you easy to follow, closed differently tho...love it!⚘
A better way to close it I think, would be the drawstring cast off 😊
that is what I used for the mittens I made
I agree, I totally messed up doing it this way
Thanks for teaching me a new stitch (the quick garter)!
You’re welcome ☺️ Thanks for watching!
Very cute, made the first pair like the video but I think I'll use a drawstring cast off for the next pair.
You prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm you can stream all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend recently xD
@Weston Emmett Definitely, I've been using Instaflixxer for since november myself =)
Good tutorial. Like the music that goes with it!
Thank you ☺️
Thank you for making it so easy to understand
Thank you for watching!
Can you do this on a 24 peg and do every other peg? Or would that make them too stretchy/holey?
I try very good idea
Love the video I've made a few off them can I show you then x
thanks, very beutiful, I love
+Susana Montaño thank you! 🤗
Thanks that's what I needed to continue my task.
Hi there, just finished my first pair. So cute. I have to do better on closing 'em up though. I will get better as I make more. Can't wait to make matching baby socks. I have a great pattern for them. Thank you for sharing your pattern and talent. I love how easy this is. I have enjoyed your other videos as well. Keep them coming. Take care, jlee
+jlee thank you as always for supporting my channel! Will post a new video soon 😊
yeh im like you ... closing them off differently xx
I
Look up the draw string method it's a lot better. Has a clean look too. Don't have to worry about things coming undone.
If i wanted these smaller could i just skip every other peg??
Would have been more easier to do a draw string cast off, other then that I loved this video! 😊🌸
+Sierra Scott thanks for watching!
Sierra Scott hi

If I was going to use a thicker yarn instead of the worsted weight yarn would you recommend a 5 or 6 yarn? I find it easier to work with stand verses two
If you're using a thicker yarn, you don't need to use 2 strands. Thanks for watching!
Is this mitten appropriate size for a newborn?
Can you use Bernat baby blanket yarn?
a draw string closure at the end which I will do. nobody really likes to sew there project if the don't have too. cute pattern thanks
Do you have a video for baby socks that would match these mittens?
Hi... is this the size for a newborn...looks little big though...
Lovely little mittens really easy to make however did close differently as hate any form of sowing
+SHARON LILLEY thanks for watching!
Just made the mittens is there way I can show you.and you do any newborn booties xxx
Hello
Would a 20 peg loom do for child 4 and 5 years ?? Or get a 24 peg one ?
I honestly do not know - I don’t have a 20 peg loom. A 24 peg loom is used for adults, I believe. Please keep me posted if you end up trying with a 20-peg loom. Good luck!
Is it possible to make it using a bigger loom? I need a mittens for a newborn, but only have a 24 peg loom...
I personally haven’t tried, but I guess you can give it a go. However, I think it would be too big for a newborn.

I just used my 24-peg, but skipped every other peg and it came out fine.
@@ToddCarnes Thanks for sharing this. I've always wonder if you could use less pegs to make the circumference smaller 🤔 🙂
how would I do this if I want to make some for preemie babies?
+Lindsay York unfortunately, I think these are too big for preemie babies and the 12-peg loom is the smallest that I know of. I guess you'd have to crochet the mittens for preemies.
@@ArtyCraftyCA You could try a small gauge adjustable sock loom and some lighter yarn.
So i used the bigger yarn one strand bernat and my mitten is alot bigger im making for a new born how can i make it smaller with bigger yarn do less wraps
You may try that, I suppose. Doing less wraps only decreases the length, not the width though.
Try different yarn they make something that is between the width of red hearts and bernats with the same feel as bernats. I saw it at walmart the other day so I am sure most arts store will have it.
@@ArtyCraftyCA what size are these mittens? What do fit? If that makes since lol what to what size
Can i make this on 16 peg mini rectangle loom?
Yes but you would likely have a bigger pair of mittens
what loom is this and where do I find them? I can only find the set of 4 which I already have and this extra small on isn't in it.
+Becca M it's called a flower loom and sold separately. I got mine from Michaels, the brand is Loops and Threads. Hope that helps!
What kind of yarn I need to use
I used two strands of medium #4 worsted yarn
I have #4 100 acrylic can that work
I enjoyed the whole video all except the end when obviously all you needed to do was a drawstring bind off
This is too loose for my liking and it would’ve been nice if you mentioned that this was for left handers.
I suggest use a thicker yarn. And it’s not for lefties - I’m not a lefty. This is neither for a lefty or a righty. You may start your project either clockwise or counter-clockwise, the end result will be the same.
KRISTINE P_XO I'm left handed & I go in the other direction, this is not a left handed video. Either way, you can choose the direction you prefer. Whatever is comfortable for you. 😊🌻
Wow, for beginners you filming in fast motion with hyper music not helpful. And they look easy actually but way too fast to keep up. 😢
You can always mute the audio and slow down the playback speed.
You need to go slower
Donna Clift - Hey, you can change the playback speed of any video. Top right of screen, look for 3 dots. There you slow down or speed-up playback.
