You seriously are the best teacher when it comes to these projects. You make it Barney level simple! Some content creators just unnecessarily overcomplicate things, and you actually make it enjoyable. I will be saving your videos for future reference. ❤
I found your channel two days ago and I made a hat immediately because of your instructions. That was my very first knitting experience. I made another hat the next day (yesterday) in a faster time, I might add. I'm wearing my first hat as I write this and showed both hats to someone today. She loved them and wanted me to make one for her (which I did plan to do). I didn't give her the one I already made because it was intended for someone else (the person who nudged me in the knitting direction). Additionally, I wanted to know the colour she would want before making it. Get this... she also wants me to teach her. It seems hilarious but essentially, you're the teacher because I literally just started learning and am only copying you, however, I'm honoured. Now this. I will be making socks from this video. Your instructions are very simple and easy to follow. I don't feel overwhelmed at all. Plus, your voice helps. It's nice to listen to and your patience is evident. You're a good teacher. Thank you.
Ok, I got it. I had to go back and watch it a few times. With New Years upon me I must have gotten interrupted and missed the counts. I just made my very first sock slipper. You are so good at teaching this. Thank you so much. What a wonderful feeling when you finish . I make jewelry but I always envied anyone who could make such beautiful things with yarn. My 11th grandchild is due in February, I’m going to make him a blanket. I’m so excited. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for making this video! This is by far the easiest tutorial for slipper socks I've come across and easy to follow! The slipper socks also don't have a weird hole in the heel ! 😊 also, again thank you for slowing down the video at crucial parts like the decreasing and increase. It gets a bit complicated for me with other videos because they speed up and expect you to "just know" after showing you one row! 😢 I like that you went through each step carefully and took the time to show us correctly. You are a gem! ❤
I have never used a loom before. I picked one up from dollar tree because I want to make socks and I followed your written instructions for most of the sock, but also followed the video at times. My first sock turned out fantastic! I am so happy with this and I can't wait to make alot more socks!! 🧶
Thank you for such an easy and great tutorial! I got some looms for Christmas and I had never used them before. I decided on these socks as my first project. The first sock I got a bit overconfident and cocky and messed up the heel (still not sure what I did lol) but I carefully picked apart what I did and then followed more closely. The second sock just went so quick and easy - funny how that happens when you follow directions lol. I have so much yarn in the house that I sort of inherited from mom when she left us and I didn't know what to do with it. Now, I'll be making a few pairs for myself and friends!
Been needle knitting for 50 yrs. My cousin challenged me to do a pair of loom socks. The loom video looked a lot easier. Can't wait to try. Thank you for such a detailed video.
17:41 I started follyyou after watching how to make a hat. I’ve made 4 for my newborn granbaby and one for my 5 year old grandson already! Now, I feel like I’m ready for the socks. I’m glad I found this video because other videos look complicated. Wish me luck! Thank you!! ❤
I enjoy watching your videos. As a beginner I find them extremely easy to follow, and I can now make some socks as well as many or projects. Thank you for sharing your talent with us beginners
ABSOLUTELY love how you explain things and go SLOW it was like I was making it right along next to you I'm going to making socks for everyone now 😂 just wanted to say thank you, you made it so easy all the other videos I saw went to damn fast and did really different looking techniques
I cant tell how many videos I've watched. To make these. You are a very good teacher. And i think you are the best. I am a new subscriber to your channel and a new crafter to the loom crafter. Tfs jen in south dakota.
Love this tutorial! I made the loom knit hat from your tutorial and it came out so cute, so now...socks! 😁 As someone who never could seem to master crochet or knitting, I love loom knitting! I’m trying your other loom knit projects too and would love to see even more, you are such a fantastic teacher! I’ve done some of your macrame projects also! Just great! 😊
thank you so much. i loved your tutorial and i have watched a few. yours is the best. especially the very very easy heel and i will be using those instructions from now on. thank you again.
Yes, I made a pair of these with a 50g wool. Made within a short space of time. Will now make another pair in chunky wool. Once I've gone to the shops for chunky wool 😊😊
I tried making socks on other tutorials and this one is by far the best out there. You explain in very good detail, do not skip any steps and don't assume that we "got it" and move too fast like other tutorials. Camera shows exactly what you are doing at a good angle. I like the method you use for the heel. Other tutorials use a wrap and turn method which is confusing and ends up very bulky. Would this sock tutorial work on the tight sock looms? Is there a formula with figuring out the heel on different looms?
Gonna give these another try soon. Putting the loops back on the loom ended up not going well for me lol. I was having a hard time telling which loops to put back on the 3 empty pegs. Something just wasn't looking right when I started making the body of the sock. Will try again though!
You are amazing. ❤ Also, your little one is cute I heard a little giggle at the end. I watched one other video before this one from you and I decided to subscribe because you are really good at making videos. I understand how much work it takes to do UA-cam and you got it down like an art skill. If you use a crew to edit your videos please tell them thank you and they are great too. You are doing a great job. This video is two years old so I can imagine how much you have improved over the years. I am excited to be part of this community. ❤😊 I just created my UA-cam account yesterday. I did lots of research on what channels to watch and subscribe to before I created my account. Your channel was on the top of the search from my feed. You should be very proud of yourself. I myself am autistic and too scared to make videos. Maybe someday I will be able to. I am an experienced weaver and I am an above average genius. I have been trying to figure out what to do with my life because I am not able to work and my health conditions are making me unwell and I am 42 years old. I need something to do so I can get out of my head space. I started crocheting and knitting again after I got surgery last year and I went to counseling for PTSD so I can start getting out more. I bought my first loom kit yesterday and I am already in love with it. I feel blessed to be able to afford it. Walmart has everything I need and they are not expensive so it's very nice. They recently got more yarns and arts and crafts available at their bigger stores. I like window shopping too so I can know what I can get later. 😊 I really appreciate your work and time here. Thank you so much. I would go on forever telling how much I appreciate your channel but that probably would be annoying. I just want you to know how grateful I am and you are loved. ❤ My name is Mandy or Amanda.
I agree. I also really like this option to translate. I understood what you wrote but for something more difficult I have the option. It's so good to be able to cross the language barrier when watching videos, whether you speak the language or not.
Love this video! Do you have one on how to do the same thing for a newborn? I just finished my first beanie with your other video and it came out perfect 😍 thank you so much for your super easy tutorials!!
Thank you! I’m so glad to hear that 😊😊 I don’t have one for a newborn, I think you would need a super tiny loom and I’m not sure that’s a thing (although I could be wrong)- I do have a pattern for some easy crochet baby booties on my site though! www.marchingnorth.com/simple-newborn-baby-booties/
Love your video. Very well taught. Thank you. Can you please tell me what loom is used for kids socks because I see that this socks is made on a loom that is for adults..
Thank you- I’m glad it helped you out! I haven’t tried making these on a smaller loom yet but you might be able to make them for kids on a 14 peg loom. I’ll have to try that and see how it works! If it works out I’ll make a tutorial for it ☺️
My five year old and I just got into lion knitting and we’re finding our e stitch to come out too loose. Do you have any advise on how we can correct this? We’re using the same yarn you’ve used in this tutorial and the loom has the same spacing but with 12 pegs for smaller feet. Do we just need to wrap tighter as we go? The top of the sock comes out great at least lol
Hi. I would like to make these socks for my son. He is 10 1/2 US size. Could you please guide me in how many rows more would I make the sock part to fit his foot. I am trying to gauge it off your size, but I need your help. -Thank you!
These socks are very stretchy, so at most I’d probably only add an extra row or two. It should still be enough, but I always grab two skeins just in case! I’d hate to tell you wrong- good luck!
Hi, enjoyed your video. My question is do you have a downloadable pattern that I can print out? I went to where you have the pattern but saw no way to print it without all of the ads. Plus the printing of the pattern left it unreadable because of the ads. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I just finished the knit one purl one 10 rows, and I'm looking at the screen and your ribbed pattern is on the inside of the loom, but mine only looked like the ribbed pattern on the flip side? What on earth did I do to have everything inverted?
I think so, but you'll have to use more than one strand. That way it'll look like it was knitted with size 6 yarn. Like for instance, I would consider using four strands of size 3 yarn. I think four strands equals size 6 yarn.
You seriously are the best teacher when it comes to these projects. You make it Barney level simple! Some content creators just unnecessarily overcomplicate things, and you actually make it enjoyable. I will be saving your videos for future reference. ❤
This has to be the best tutorial on UA-cam for this project. Please keep making these videos, you are a great teacher.
i agree with you.
Yes, thank you!
I completely agree!
Yup, Crystal-clear!

Perfect! So easy to follow! Thank you!
The best video for knitting socks.
Very clear, especially me who can’t get it going with needles and crochet hooks. Thanks

I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial! I’m not sure if it would work on a tighter sock loom because I haven’t tried it yet- sorry I can’t be more help!
Thank You so much for this excellent video. I thought I had to get a special sock loom. 😂 silly me.
Many thanks again, can't wait to start.
I officially love your work I understand everything perfectly. Just wanna appreciate the share of talent ❤
Thank you so much 😀

That was very clear, thank you so much!
I always wanted to knit socks. I'm terrible at knitting with sticks. Thank you!
This is a great 👍 tutorial!! Thank you
Loved It. Thanks much. I don't have idea how this gadget worked. Blessings!
Very good but I would like to get a paper pattern. How do I get one. Thank You
Gonna give these another try soon. Putting the loops back on the loom ended up not going well for me lol. I was having a hard time telling which loops to put back on the 3 empty pegs. Something just wasn't looking right when I started making the body of the sock. Will try again though!
Best tutorial yet!!!
I have that exact same yarn! Except ive been considering using it to knit a sweater
This was Alan excellent tutorial. Thanks.

شرح جميل و رائع شكرا Nice and wonderful explanation. Thank you.
Thank you ❤
Thank you for showing a d making it .ook so easy
You’re welcome! 😊
Love this video! Do you have one on how to do the same thing for a newborn?

May you please make a video where you loom a blanket
This a great tutorial! I'm almost finished with my second set! So fun! Are there directions that I could print out on my printer? Thank you!
Love your video. Very well taught. Thank you. Can you please tell me what loom is used for kids socks because I see that this socks is made on a loom that is for adults..

@@YarnStash Thank you. Looking forward to it.
Great job. love it! Can't wait to try it myself!!
Would you comment on using sock yarn for this? Thanks, in advance.
Great tutorial. Do u still use ur sock loom? I presume u knit so do u like knitting or looming ur socks? Thanks for sharing.
great tutorial one question Is how would one size to fit and my second question do you knit the last stitch on every row ? thanks so much
Can we use chain stitch for cast on so that the top of the cuff gives a neat look??
What is your opinion please.
Yea I would just try wrapping a bit tighter and that should help- that’s awesome that you’re making them with your 5 year old!
I think I can do this.
If you have neuropathy that knot hurts like crazy. Nice tip to do the knot on top!
Can you finish with Kitchener stitch instead?
You are awesome
I just got a loom I'm going to try and figure it out. Why do you skip a peg when your making the sock
I have some bamboo blend that I have no idea what to do with it. Would it work for this project?
With this pattern, could you repeat the heel for a toe and then bind off?
Hi. I would like to make these socks for my son. He is 10 1/2 US size. Could you please guide me in how many rows more would I make the sock part to fit his foot. I am trying to gauge it off your size, but I need your help. -Thank you!
Also, would 1 skein on yarn like one you used, fit his size 10 1/2 US foot?
These socks are very stretchy, so at most I’d probably only add an extra row or two. It should still be enough, but I always grab two skeins just in case! I’d hate to tell you wrong- good luck!
Thank you! I am starting now to make them.
How do you make a smaller size sock? Ie baby or child, or small adult size 6? Smallerloom?
Hi, enjoyed your video. My question is do you have a downloadable pattern that I can print out? I went to where you have the pattern but saw no way to print it without all of the ads. Plus the printing of the pattern left it unreadable because of the ads. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I just finished the knit one purl one 10 rows, and I'm looking at the screen and your ribbed pattern is on the inside of the loom, but mine only looked like the ribbed pattern on the flip side? What on earth did I do to have everything inverted?
The last video took me back to math class, “multiply this, divide that “. Heck no.
Wondering tutorial! But is this really one entire skein per foot?
I used size 6, 106yd and that was perfect for a pair.
I tried doing this with chunkier yarn and it didn’t come out as nice. Is there a particular type of yarn I should use?
how do you correct mistake?
Can i use size 3 yarn
I think so, but you'll have to use more than one strand. That way it'll look like it was knitted with size 6 yarn. Like for instance, I would consider using four strands of size 3 yarn. I think four strands equals size 6 yarn.
Does it matter for the heel if I do pegs 1-10 or 1-12?
Maybe
