  • Learn how to make a cozy pair of fingerless gloves with your knitting loom in this step by step tutorial for beginners!
    If you want to knit a pair of fingerless mittens but you don't know how to knit, a round loom is a simple and easy solution. You can use a Knifty Knitter loom for this pattern, or a large gauge KB loom which is the type I'm using.
    You'll need one skein of size 5 chunky yarn for this project and you can whip these up in a couple of hours!
    SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED //
    ▶︎ 1 skein of chunky size 5 yarn (I used Amigo Chunky by Hobbii in the color Curry #38): hobbii.com/ami...
    ▶︎ 24 peg large gauge knitting loom: amzn.to/3QgHJMI

      If the yarn you're using is the same size as mine (bulky) then that should be enough yarn to make two pairs! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial!

    I’ve followed your tutorial perfectly, the only loom knitting I have done is making beanies which I have done for two years, and I have finally decided to try something new. I really liked your design and chose to follow your video but for some reason, when it comes to starting the thumb hole and going through the left right left right process, the yarn looks like it’s tighter than the rest of the yarn. I applied the same amount of tension as the rest of hand warmer and it still is turning out this way. I do not know what I am doing wrong or if I am doing anything wrong. But if you could please give me some in sight it would help SO much. Thank you😊

    Will your mittens work if some pins are closer together? I got a 44 pin one that you can take pins out of. So if you take out every second one I'm left with only 22. I can put in the extra 2 but then those pins are closer together. Will that work? The loom looks the same size

    Are the finger holes the same as ones used to make a dog sweaters arm holes? Maybe a little bigger for arm holes? I've watched so many videos and cannot grasp how to make the arm holes. You're the lady that taught me how to use the looms, I love looming but the arm holes have me crazy, lol 😂 thanks so much!!

    • @YarnStash
      @YarnStash  Рік тому +1

      I tend to put my loom down a lot so it’d be quite easy to lose my place. I needed something to keep count so I put 20 beans in a ramekin and move them to another (different color) as I begin a new row. This has been incredibly helpful in keeping count. If the stitch calls for only 10 rows, just move 10 of the beans over to the finished cup so you start with 10!
