Most of the major jobs are done with the LSA conversion, but there's a zillion little things I still need to finish up. What parts are you guys interested in seeing (if any) of the remaining details?
I will watch anything you want to show. I enjoy watching your videos. You remind me of Chip Foose on wanting things look like it should have come from the factory that way. I am the same way. Nothing like a clean factory look. Thanks for sharing!
Dude that was one of the most satisfactory mods I’ve ever witnessed with my own eyes. Well done man, great workmanship right there! Very expressive. Definitely leave it silver too I say.
This looks like it came from the factory this way!! Incredible work installing the Transmission cooler and the heat exchanger!! When you do a project you build it right and that's what I really like about your channel!! Thanks LT!!
You make me want to drop my truck off with you and my checkbook. This level of meticulous makes me not even remotely anxious as I normally would be when someone besides me works on my stuff.
For the most part, I’m a slap it together and run it type of guy. Watching your videos has inspired me to slow down and enjoy the quality. Thanks pal. Keep on Fabin
I like the fact that you go the extra mile to make all your work as good as possible. Doing it correctly save’s issues later on. Any component not properly secured will eventually fail. As Mr. Murphy says what can go wrong, will go wrong.
Paint the radiator, dead giveaway, run in STEALTH mode, very unsuspecting. Looks great! Watching your channel for a while now, I expect nothing less from you LOL
I have a square body truck with a Gen 5 LT4 and had to solve the same problems. I used a Setrab exchanger for the supercharger and likewise put it in the front of the stack of coolers. Ideally, it would be good to have the AC condenser as the foremost in the stack (particularly if the supercharger is working when towing), but it can be complicated to achieve that arrangement. Great work, LT.
Sup buddy. I can see you smiling behind your stress. I two have that same smile I have a 2005 chevy Colorodo with a 6.2 LSA 4x4. Yes I have pains, but I smile. Only few know our smile.
That nut insert tool ca be quite addictive. I've had 1 for more than 3 years my buddies have seen what I have done with it. They borrow it and add to the riv nuts I haven't had to buy any yet myself. The only thing ever broken was the stud the riv nut screws on to. I love it
Build looks good, similar to my set up with the true cool and an auxiliary electric fan. FYI in rare occasions abrasive discs made fore steel can load up when cutting aluminum and come apart. Abrasive discs for aluminum are typically wax impregnated .
I always pay attention to the tools you use. The hydraulic flare tools are the best! I bought the master cool hydraulic flare tool and I love it. No trouble with the tubes trying to push through the die. And those nut sert puller/crimpers are awesome. I got mine at O'Reilly's. Your tig welding and fab skills are getting a lot better too. Watching you, you seem more confident and sure of yourself. It's awesome man. Hope you hit 100k and keep right on going.
LT keep On grinding every day 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽filling our minds with ur tremendous knowledge An inspiring all of us it truly is a Blessing to have u in our lives God Bless 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Another awesome video! Keep Rocking and Rolling brother!!!! 100k Is going to POP up AND pass BEFORE You know it!! Also, I just picked up an 01 GMC Yukon XL, 1500/5.3/4L60E?/4x4 W/Electric push button/2HI-4Hi/4Lo. It needs some minor fixing up, they rear-ended a jacked up truck and it smashed the center of the grill in also crushing the trans cooler and bending the condenser and radiator they drove it and basically completely ran it out of transmission fluid and I disconnected the trans cooler lines and put a hose between the two so it could still flow and filled it back up with trans fluid but now when the trans starts to warm up the front pump starts making noise and then it basically acts like it goes into neutral because reverse drive or manual first second or third gear it won't move. If you park it and let it cool off the pump starts to pump again and it will move under its own power but as soon as it warms up it completely loses everything. To you does that sound like a damaged front pump? Maybe a plugged up filter? I'm going to drop the pan and see what it looks like inside later today. I sure hope they didn't completely toast the transmission!..... *Crossing my fingers*
LT, You are really inspiring me to keep going with our project. I appreciate these uploads. You and Stacey David were two of my idol's growing up. Thanks for the awesome content!
Yes you talk about that metal strip with holes in it it is plumber's tape I have a guy that loves that to put it in everything and around the vehicles that I work with
I love the detailed work and explanations. When i street raced years ago, i always tried to keep everything looking factory and clean. Keep up the amazing videos and work.
That bracket came out great. The whole cooling stack really does look factory. As far as power if this were my project I'd keep the 4.8 and see what it is really capable of. Plus it's different.
I would build something across the top of the radiator support over to the AC condenser to close that gap to help pull even more air across. Great build looks good
I have that Mastercool hydraulic crimping tool which can do many crimp styles including GM trans cooler quick connects. It is a bit spendy but it saves a lot of anger and frustration over basic double flare manual tools. If you get a nice tubing straightener and this hydraulic crimper you can easily build or rebuild all of the small diameter tubes for brakes, cooler, or fuel lines on most any vehicle. Also for the rust belt viewers you can cut back to non rusted tube and crimp it on the vehicle and add in a repair section with unions. Wish you had shared it with the viewers LT!!!
I ordered the shaft to do my 4l80 awd conversion. I Look forward to your video coming on this soon, To help with wiring and all the in details and tips.
Absolutely amazing! Nothing wrong with taking your time and making brackets / weldments the way they should be, using correct fasteners and hardware and? thinking ahead for access and service in the future. Kudos LT, another great build and I love the way you take things from how they are to how they should be! Great insight and forethought. I'll definitely keep watching!
I love your videos LT, the way you do your builds are exactly how I want to do my builds. I can not do them to your ability but im going to keep trying and do my best. It's rare that people actually put in the work like you, keep the videos coming!
I like how the ugly truck is full sleeper and this thing is more loud and proud. Just a quick look and you'll see the heat exchanger and it's alot louder
Nice job, I was able to mount my set up very similar on my 2000 5.3 with a Magnuson s/c. Largest trans cooler that I could make fit with the heat exchanger too!
I have the same exact problem. I take a simple process, over-engineer it, redo it a couple times and finally 2 weeks later, something that should have taken a few hours is done.
This will come in handy when I install my Whipple supercharger in my 2004 STahoe,- which would have been dond by now except for an i jury that'sstill healing. I believe it's actually 1999 thru 2006 Silverados, Sierras, Suburbans, Tahoes, and Yukons that have this short grilke space.
Great job Lt. I just recently had to change some oil and trans coolant lines that were leaking and decided to prep for my stall and cam upgrade by changing to the true cool40k as well. I didn’t like the hoses provided and wished I could have made hard lines but didn’t have the tools. If you can send a link I would greatly appreciate it.
I thought you were going to have to mount the IC heat exchanger under the bed with a fan. Nice work. I’m not too keen on stacking heat exchangers four deep but I’ll be happily proven wrong come the first 90* day this year.
Awesome job!!! I knda have the same skill of taking a simple job and making it way harder and stretching it out over a long period of time; most of the time over-thinking all the steps and outcomes!!! OCD, anyone...
Looks good. You don’t happen to have note of length and height and square tube size you used to make the new frame? And also which size heat exchanger you used? There is a couple listed on their website. Thanks!
Most of the major jobs are done with the LSA conversion, but there's a zillion little things I still need to finish up. What parts are you guys interested in seeing (if any) of the remaining details?
Everything Lawrence, everything.
Would tilting the radiator back be an option to gain room?
All of them, you are really hittin’ this on out of the park.
I will watch anything you want to show. I enjoy watching your videos. You remind me of Chip Foose on wanting things look like it should have come from the factory that way. I am the same way. Nothing like a clean factory look. Thanks for sharing!
Throttle cable bracket
Dude that was one of the most satisfactory mods I’ve ever witnessed with my own eyes. Well done man, great workmanship right there! Very expressive. Definitely leave it silver too I say.
shows a lot of thought on your part. Appearance is like a factory installation. I'd be very proud of that one! Good job LT !
Thanks!
I literally paused this video this morning, went to work, now I'm back home @ 2125hrs and enjoying this show.👌
There's never anything wrong with doing it right!
This looks like it came from the factory this way!! Incredible work installing the Transmission cooler and the heat exchanger!! When you do a project you build it right and that's what I really like about your channel!! Thanks LT!!
LT, YOU are so NOT alone in over complicating aspects of you builds! My Son and I both do the same damn thing on way too many of our projects. HA!
Those hard lines are ridiculous. Well done sir.
Please don’t apologize for “over engineering”. If the product you have works and looks better in the end, that’s what separates you from the hacks.
You make me want to drop my truck off with you and my checkbook. This level of meticulous makes me not even remotely anxious as I normally would be when someone besides me works on my stuff.
I would enjoy seeing the battery relocation take place!
Well done on taking the time to make a factory-grade bracket. It's the attention to detail like this that sets the great builds apart from the rest.
Thank you very much!
For the most part, I’m a slap it together and run it type of guy. Watching your videos has inspired me to slow down and enjoy the quality. Thanks pal. Keep on Fabin
Glad to hear it helped!
Don't forget to use amsoil everything for the best protection!
I like the fact that you go the extra mile to make all your work as good as possible. Doing it correctly save’s issues later on. Any component not properly secured will eventually fail. As Mr. Murphy says what can go wrong, will go wrong.
There’s something special about building a truck like it should have come from factory, it’s so much clearer. Well done 👍🏿
Craftsmanship=respect
Small details like the wire harness, front brakes modification, and the rivserts are the difference in a dyi and a professional. Nice work
Your fabrication skills are top notch!
Paint the radiator, dead giveaway, run in STEALTH mode, very unsuspecting. Looks great! Watching your channel for a while now, I expect nothing less from you LOL
I think I may have to steal this core support mod, stacks the stuff so nicely.
Excellent build bro. Pro-fit up.
You just have a superpower that in reality distorts time...
My wife has a 2004 Yukon with the 4.8. You're making me want to supercharge it just for fun much to her dismay.
that just means she can get to where she needs to go a little quicker!
@@LawrenceTolman Exactly!
well done man, that trans cooler line job was spot on
I like how meticulous you are with your projects. Keep up the good work Sir!
Thanks, will do!

Much respect for what you are accomplishing with the tools and space you have to work with.
Progress has been made.
Nice work stacking the coolers.
A few more items then let ride .
Be safe team.
Lt you going to be one of the kind .

One slick install🤙
Loving the build...giving me lots of ideas for mine. ready to see it rip an awd burnout!
I had the same heat exchanger on my lsa swapped silverado. I installed it in 2017. Vids on my channel.
Good job champ!
That truck is looking good LT
Great Job! Can't wait for the all wheel drive install!
You and me both!
Very nice work on the trans cooler mount.
You should video it all LT! I’m loving this build as I’m in the process of doing the same!

your attention to detail and doing things right is why I love watching your videos, keep it up !
Amazing work as usual! Clean install every step of the way!
Very clean install LT 👍🏻👍🏻
super trick work LT! I'm glad to be watching you work on UA-cam, thank you for posting cool vids.

Coming together nicely
That bracket came out great. The whole cooling stack really does look factory. As far as power if this were my project I'd keep the 4.8 and see what it is really capable of. Plus it's different.
Is it weird that I like the new metal lines to the trans cooler most in this mod? Way cleaner than just barbed fittings and rubber hoses. Nice job!
Great job on those trans lines. Turn that front grill into a flow tie for more air flow to the exchanger.
I would build something across the top of the radiator support over to the AC condenser to close that gap to help pull even more air across. Great build looks good
Beautiful work. Worth the effort
Thank you so much 😀
That looks amazing ..spot on the detail you put in your progects is so though out great job LT ..

That job came out Super Clean! Thumbs up! Cheers!
Thanks 👍
Pro tip…dab of red thread locker before you instal the nut-serts.
Nice work!
Thanks for the idea!
There’s many ways to do things. As The Mandalorian mantra goes "This is the way"
This is the way.
That looks great. Very nice job. 👌
Beautiful Work, Looks Factory, Great Job!
Looks good af LT
No I have a great example of how to make it all fit on my truck.
I'm shocked you didn't decide to paint the heat exchanger black, but I am still enjoying the build of course.

I love this channel your the real deal.
Killin it bro!! Keep up the quality work!!
Thanks! Will do!

Same trans cooler i run along with a deep finned pan(TCI?) corvette servo and bigger 4th gear servo. HOPEFULLY the 4L65E will last a bit longer!
