TRD JON what part of Florida are you in. I just bought my First 2020 4Runner TRD off Road Premium about a week ago. Amazing 😉 Machine specially with the smart drive tech and Apple car play
Apple definitely had some problems with their latest OS release and some of the video codecs. I had some issues with Final Cut Pro that prevented me from getting a video out today.
Test drove one with it, the drone.. omg. First hill you will park and walk home. Maybe if you lived in the flat or never went on freeway, otherwise the 4runner is a giant resonance chamber. I like it at lower speeds, and "sound" can always be subjective... /shrugs. I had a 90's muscle car that droned like this so i may be noticing it more. Just joined team 4runner, so now I gotta go back through all your videos for mod ideas :O
I’ve had my 2020 since January, I honestly don’t notice it that much, and I’ve been driving with all the windows since April, it does rev that throaty sound when I accelerate to drive 80 on the highway but stops, the drone isn’t too obnoxious in my opinion. I notice more of the sustained droning when I’m going from a stop to 30mph. Hope you like it!

This is hilarious, I live in destin too. I thought I heard you say midbay lol. Also I’d love to hear it sometime in person. I too have a 4Runner and have been thinking about getting one.
I had the wheel shake stock on my ‘16 SR5 and on my stock ‘18 Ltd. it got worse with the ko2’s on my trd’s maybe because the tire is more aggressive or because they didn’t mount the painted dots opposite the valve stem and then balanced from there.
@Sam S Wrong....I've had three with superchargers. Put it on, upload the tune file, and drive. Drove them all well over a 100,000 miles with no issues.
I’m just seeing all your footage as I recently bought a 4Runner and taking in advice from several channels. Seems like a pedal commander/TRD Exhaust/S&B Intake is the premium combo. Lest you prefer TRD intake.
Interesting, I've seen lots of 2020 TRD exhaust owners complain about the drone, however yours didn't sound that loud or obnoxious. It's definitely louder than my Borla, but not nearly as bad as I expected

I want to keep the trd-pro suspension - contacted Toytec and they recommended for the TRD-Pro a FJ4PRO lift kit with front spacers and rear coils, and recommended a new SPC UCAs. To ensure no rubbing they also recommended Bora .75” wheels pacers. Long winded questions, but have you thought about going to 285s? What are your or the others on the page thoughts for being about to run 285/70/17 on a 2014-2019 TRD-Pro without changing out the entire suspension. Have you looked at a Magnuson supercharger?
