I'm a kenyan and a runner and i do salute siffan. She's an amazing and very talented runner.. her resilience in the track and roads is just commendable.
Sifan is amazing. Her marathon debut at London was incredible. When the top elite women couldn't drop her going into the final kilometer, I was sure she was going to outkick them for the win, and it happened. Her range is staggering: world class from 1,500 meters through the marathon.
This got recommended to me because I’ve been watching a lot of videos about her since she was one of her Olympic medal yesterday. Her gold medal in Marathon! I’ve actually been a fan since 2021 when she fell down and managed to run so fast and then she won the race! That was insane!
Wow, this video gives such detailed insight into what professional athletes go through. It really makes me respect all the athletes and their teams even more!
Great info - I was prepping a video about Sifan but it seems you’ve already made it for me! Awesome. With better pacing I’d expect her to be closer to the marathon world record next year
@@janekwitowski6241 My friend, if the speaker is a robot (and the robot doesn't speak by himself), then the great effort I put into preparing this video with this large amount of information should not be underestimated in any way. All the information, speech, programs, pictures, slides, and music were done by me. It took me 4 days of continuous effort to produce it in this way. A little praise doesn't hurt!
@@janekwitowski6241 I think you misunderstood what the creator said. They basically did everything except for using their own voice for the talking, but even the words stated from the bot voiceover were his own words that he scripted.
I am an African from a neighboring country to Ethiopia where Hassan was born. A birth date of January 1st in many parts of Africa means that the actual birth date is unknown and a birth date was assigned after an evaluation by a medical professional or a government official. This may certainly not be the case with Ms Hassan but there is a high probability that she is either older or younger than we know her to be. Either way we are very proud of her
If she wants the marathon world record. She is absolutely fit to do it. Has the capacity for that.Think about that as a non-marathon specialist and is Olympic champion, she ran with the marathon specialists. That indicates its potential.
Thank you for your comment. Part 2 may take some time to be released due to the lack of new training information. We are striving to gather such information diligently. Once it is complete, we will release it.
You said at 1:15 that she didn't start structured training until age 20, and then immediately after said she won the half marathon and 2 cross country races at age 18. Could you please explain this?
Her professional career started at the age of 20 when she met Coach Hoedt, who constructed a well-designed program that improved her weaknesses and gave her a competitive mentality to race at a high international level. Before that, it was only training for the sake of training and not a well-focused program.
what's is this guys? what is this now?? Sifan Hassan? OMG yes... she is a wonderwoman son.... & you can take that to the bank baby-doll.... after all, if my memory still serves me correctly, she held the world record for the one mile on the track between 2019 & 2023 i meant to say, Er? uh? i mean? she holds 6 European records & is a unstoppable running angel i meant to say
Yes, she held the world record for the mile, she also had the world record for the 10K for about 6 hours until Letesenbet Gidey ran faster later that day. I suspect that is one of the reasons why Sifan refused to share the lead with Gidey during the 10K in the Tokyo Olympics, Sifan wanted to make sure she beat Gidey in that race, she did.
