that’s perfectly fine and safe for her but it won’t have the same affect as feeding fully raw. but if thats the best you can do at the moment it’s still a great start.
great video bro I just wanted to mention if you didnt know already that gizzards and heart are not factored into the organ meat calc when feeding raw, they are considered muscle meats. Its only secreting organs like liver and kidney. He is too young for organ meat right now anyway. Just wanted to mention it. I also fed my rotty pup butternut squash around gunners age. He loved it.
I’m getting my Rotti in about two weeks she will be 8 weeks old when I get her and I plan to introduce her to raw food at 10 weeks. I’m just wondering when is liver ok too feed ?
@@xeniarotti1797 so liver is too rich in nutrients for their young bodies. So it’s more of a gradual process to transition them to liver. So the three stages I used was chicken, beef, and pork. I would feed those muscle meats until my pup had solid poop. Then I’d move on to the next meat. Once you’ve done that process with all three meats. You can introduce liver.
Im getting my Rottweiler in 5 weeks and i work fulltime so I just wonder if I should feed him raw food in the morning then second meal when I get home like dinner or kibble in the morning then raw for dinner? So confusing 😭😭 and need as much help out there.
Ive feed my 3 months old puppy some glizzards and chicken but he be chewing 2-3 times then swallows eat he doesn’t take his time chewing his food any tips?
A few weeks ago we got our first rottweiler puppy. We were told he was 10 weeks old, I have major doubts about the age because he was/ is so tiny. I looked up photos online and comparing he looked liked the 6 week old pups. I'm talking tiny!!! We got him home that night and he ate and drank like he had never seen food before! He has doubled in size in 2 weeks and the collar he had on is at least 7 in away from closing now. We have "papers" with him but again I think they are wrong. Sorry for the long comment but I kinda was hoping you could or someone in the comments could shed light on if his size was normal.
I got my puppy at 4 weeks . I want to do a raw diet in the future. How do you store the remaining raw food he doesn’t finish? What about the remaining meat ? In the fridge or do you store it at the freezer?
Great video... I started raw diet with my Rottie about three months and.... NO REGRETS!!! In the long run.. It may be a little more expensive than kibble but.. You'll have your pet/family around much longer🐾❤

And thanks to all those who have shared their experiences with their pups. Every pup is different and will react to changes in diet differently. All trial and error until you find what your pup likes.
so can i feed my dog kibbles and raw food or like once a week ,can i switch it up or should i just stick to one option, basically is what i’m asking???
Great video, thank you! I will have my puppy rothie female in march. You feed your puppy two or three per day? Do you know about the cost of the month?
Ok really dumb question but I just need this cleared up. You feed your rottie raw eggs? I was waiting to watch him bite down on it but never showed lol
I’m getting my puppy next week. He is 9 weeks. Any other helpful tips ? I want to start a raw diet for him but I would like more information. Thanks in advance
Top man, enjoyed the VLOG. Mike would you mince the food up and mix it together or leave it whole? Thanks Getting as much info on the breed as l can at the moment.
I have one question though, do you feed your pup raw like this everyday? If so, how many times a day do you feed? Is it okay to find a quality kibble and then maybe feed raw once or twice a week?
I just started raw diet for my rottie and I usually wash the meat and chicken with hot water wanting to wash off any bad bacteria is that a good thing to do? Or just give it straight from the package , I also cut off the claws on the chicken feet
Bacteria and these concerns are irrelevant to dogs. They are animals domesticated or not. In the wild animals eat dead animals days old. Their digestive system can handle a lot. This is why raw chicken makes us sick, and they want more of it. Never feed them cooked chicken or meats. They don’t ovens and microwaves in the wild. Cooked chicken softens the bones and can cause real problems for them. Let their incredibly powerful jaws bite through raw uncooked bone. Mix a touch of high quality kibble like NUTRO to make sure they are getting it all……. Love Rottweiler’s
Just an FYI.. gizzard and heart is NOT organ meats!! Your puppy should be eating 2 secreting organs per meal. liver is the most important organ to feed. Other secreting organs are spleen and kidney. Organs are very important for healthy hormone balance. Gizzard and heart are considered muscle meats.
So is a mix of both alright??? My pup almost 12 weeks old and money ain’t a issue to feed my rotti pup do you know exactly what I need to buy raw wise..
@@ghostt703 you need to do your research. Raw puppy diets are very different than raw adult diets. They must be balanced. If you plan on making the meals yourself the research is critical! Gotta do the homework on the meats to feed your dog a raw diet. How the animals were kept and what they were fed is what makes the meat good or not. If it says no antibiotics or or hormones doesn’t mean that cow or that chicken lamb or what have you want wing being fed corn which is unhealthy and unnatural for these animals to eat. Just saying. It can get deep

I give my 3 months old rottie quite same food, sometimes i include sardines with natural oil, rice, salmon oil, oats, carrots and so on and on.
Great choices!!
So I have been doing mostly dog food but twice a week I have been throwing in raw with her dog food is that okay?

For a puppy at 8 weeks, how many times do you feed a day? And also how many times for a 3 month?

You have to feed him so,etching that’s bigger than his mouth so he can’t swallow it whole my puppy had the same problem
So the meat that’s left do you freeze it? Also how often do u feed him raw meat?
Can i just switch cold turkey? If i have been feeding my 10 week german shepherd puppy?

With the raw food diet, you give your dogs greens for carbs as well?
Haven't done that yet with any of my Rottweilers.

I used some fish also after freezing for a week to make sure no parasites. I also threw some spinach and carrots in a ninja to help with digestion
About how much did gunner weigh in this video? And how much does he weigh now a month later?
I get my 8 week old Rottweiler on Friday June 16 I can’t wait .

When should I start the raw diet or should I mix it with the dry food
My Rottweiler is 1, stomach is very sensitive. Not doing well on dog food Do you feel it’s to late to switch to this the of raw diet ?
did you rottweiler have diaherra in the beginning of this diet?
Dogs are designed to eat raw food, it's almost like they were wolves once🤯🤯
Is there any raw food i should avoid when she is pregnant?

so can i feed my dog kibbles and raw food or like once a week ,can i switch it up or should i just stick to one option, basically is what i’m asking???
You can do both. You can alternate. Or you can mix the kibble with the raw. It just depends on how you want to feed.
Hi
My Rottweiler is 6 weeks old. He has been on a kibble diet. Can I start transitioning to a raw diet or is it too early for him.
Yes you certainly can
I have a Rottweiler terrier mix whos SO underweight, can I feed him this same stuff?
Yes! Giving your Rottweiler a well balanced Raw meal can help.
did that chicken have a pedicure before the chopping block?
Yes, the claws can be dangerous for consumption
At what age can you raw feed? How old is he in this video?
The earlier the better in my opinion
How much does it cost you to feed him monthly?
Can I use this to feed my 5 month rottie?
yes
How did you transition from kibble to raw food?
Start adding it little by little until you decide no more kibble.
Great video, thank you! I will have my puppy rothie female in march. You feed your puppy two or three per day? Do you know about the cost of the month?
So is that a raw egg or boiled ?
Raw
Ok really dumb question but I just need this cleared up. You feed your rottie raw eggs? I was waiting to watch him bite down on it but never showed lol

It's a good dog food based on the ingredients but many people wont be able to afford it.
