first thing I noticed. Your dog wants his nails clipped. In fact, I'd say he has a total boner for it. Secondly, the entire world knows that you can't see the quick in a dark nail. This is not a revelation of any kind. It can be expensive? I guess if you don't do it yourself. That being said, just knock the points off. Don't overdo it. Your dog will get used to it if you start them young. I trim my Rottweiler's nails all the time. I have been doing so for 9 years. I hurt her once. It sucked. Like I said, just take the points off.

I really think it unwise to encourage aggression of this type…I’ve had both breeds but mainly Rotties….a lot of what this woman is saying is incorrect….both breeds can be crated …within reason…you can’t leave them in for hours….tying either breed to a cable or rope is certainly unwise and borderline cruel…properly trained you never have to put your dog on a tether outside….you can use a leash but STAY WITH THE DOG AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTSIDE…isn’t that the point of having a dog companion…I’ve had 4 adult Rotties at one time …all males….the objective is to train the dog…they are very smart..not chain them up and
