First, thank you for addressing the fan issue I didn’t even think about it till this video popped up. If you’re interested, to answer your questions, overheating seems to be a common issue with most cameras shooting 4K 60. So my advice so far is by a smart phone, in the last two years by a camera with a fan, built-in, or look into BlackMagic, Linux, or Nikon. Those cameras have seemly cracked the non-overheating issue. As for Sony cameras that are inexpensive that don’t seem to overheat the VVE 10 seems immune to overheating, miraculously and it’s not as expensive as the other non-overheating cameras Sony makes. Thanks!
Cool take! I will keep that in mind 👊 To be honest I haven't had much issues with overheating when I DON'T use the Creator app. I just got a little excited about it once I realized I could use it... then disappointed by it when I realized I couldn't use it for long lol. Now I just use it at the start of my shoot and I'm happy with the workflow. I HAVE gone back to 30fps but we'll see, I might try 60 again and see what happens.
Cool test, SAHD! If you hadn't bought the fan, you wouldn't know if it would increase the overheating time. Now you know (and so do we ☺) that it doesn't help much ! The thing is: FX30 or Fx3 are the solutions for 4k/60 but in general people only use 4k 60p for slow motion b-rolls. That´s something to consider 😀!
Thanks! And yeah exactly, I think it was worth doing just for the knowledge. I'm looking forward to tinkering around with othet/easier to work on modes.
I use this combo but also added a dummy battery plugged into an outlet. I am getting no overheating for any time/setting combo. Maybe give that a try with what you are doing. Enjoyed the video!
Yeah that's interesting.. I've seen a couple people mention the dummy battery. Do you ever use the Creator app while you're shooting? I think that was the real problem.
If your setting it up like that for long recordings, just rig up an external battery. I shoot outdoor weddings, and I have never had it overheat with one. Internal battery for when you need to keep it compact(e.g. on the gimbal). I also keep the screen flipped out.
Yeah fair enough. I like having a light, mobile setup. Maybe the battery isn't that much of an addition? It hardly happens to me as I don't usually shoot long sessions, but yeah just that one time that you do and it sucks.
The fan works great in the ZV-E10. This camera tends to over heat. It doesn’t have 4k60, but I did a test at 4k30 and I continuously recorded for 2 hours and only because I had to stop it to go to work. No overhearing message. I had a power bank powering the fan and the camera for reference. I will try to push it for longer recording next time. Btw the file was over 100 gigs. 😂
@@thesahdstudio it overheated on me during a recital. I was trying to record non stop and right around the 30 minute mark. So I had to turn off the camera and waited a few minutes and I recorded meanwhile with my phone. Lucky it was a video for my niece but tbh without a fan I wouldn’t risk it again. I have the fx30 now but still use the ZV-E10 as a back up.
I saw absolutely ZERO effect on the footage from the fan besides the noise. But to be fair, I didn't play around with it that much either. Have you heard or seen people having issues with this?
I never heard or seen people affected by this issue, is just me wondering because even with a tiny Raspberry Pi fan vibrate a little. Maybe the vibration canceled out by the IBIS.
It's hard to recommend for that usage to be totally honest. In the same budget you could get the FX 30 and that is a safe camera to recommend for longer shoots with its built-in fan. Plus you could have the freedom to create any kind of video! Might be worth considering.
I wonder if you can hook up a computer monitor directly to the camera? You can get those CHEAP these days a thrift stores, etc and while it wont broadcast back at you in 4k you will still have a monitor to view yourself.
Yeah that's not a bad idea. I think I'm cool with just setting up the shot with the iPad now then turning it off. We'll see how the next few vids feel, idnthe workflow feels good.
Man if I could find a used one in my area I would. We had to move to a stupid island where the used market is weak! I miss those mainland deals! Not sure I'd feel good buying the big boy new. I'm still happy with the ol' zv... I just got a little excited then disappointed there. I'm back to normal lol
The camera is so small that everything you plug into it makes the other features LESS usable you know? The mic input is already in a bad spot and covers the top of the flippy screen. Having another input in front of the screen would be annoying as sometimes you use the touch features on the screen. It would be fine I'm sure though and having a nice BIG monitor would be just so nice to have... and like you are implying, it probably wouldn't drain the battery like bluetooth does from the Creator app. Too bad I sold all my monitors recently lol! I could plug in to wifeys though to test... for Science!
I have the fan but have never opened it because I have never had the camera overheat on me, but I don’t use it for talking head, with monitor etc in a studio. So it’s good to see it does work. Just opened mine and it doesn’t have that spring loaded bit on, just little suckers, they must have changed the design. EDIT- it ran for 5 mins then stopped working. I tried to recharge it and it’s got really hot and smells of burning. Dangerously defective unit by the looks of it, first time using. I bought it in September and this is first time using it.
Yeah when I was shopping for it it looked like that was the older model. It still reviewed well though. It's a neat little accessory that is cool too have. I can't remember if we're chatted about this... Do you shoot 24 or 30? And is there a reason for it? Edit: just read your updated comment. Oof!!
@@thesahdstudio yes just emailed Ulanzi. I bought just when it was first released, think it was only $18 but it’s knackered. I shoot 24/30 depending if in PAL / NTSC country (live in the UK but travel to States a lot) and do a lot at 120, never tend to use 60. My ZVE1 is back with Sony at the moment as I get a lot of hot pixels appearing (only seen in very dark environs at high ISO but they can suddenly just appear after 15 mins even when I’ve just run pixel mapping). Hot pixel issue seems to be triggered by heat on sensor. No reviewers of ZVE1 report this, albeit someone else told me they had same issue. Just been to Walt Disney World and had to either cut in or not use some of my dark footage due to 3 white hot pixels, which did then disappear (when it ran pixel mapping no doubt) but others then appear.
@wakeywarrior this might seem like a dumb question but do those pixels show up just on the camera screen or also in the footage? And that sounds like a fun trip!! We've never been. We're taking the kids to west Edmonton mall next month. Should be fun!
@@thesahdstudio no they are on the sensor. You know how pixel mapping runs regularly on start up? That is capturing the pixels and mapping them out. Try a test. Do the pixel mapping. Then run the camera as normal let it heat up. Maybe do a bit of 120fps so it gets quite hot if you want to speed the process. Then go in a very dark room and film with high ISO. Then go watch that footage on a monitor. You may be surprised to see in the dark footage at high ISO, white hot, but sometimes blue or red pixels. They come on this camera all the time. I’ve sent mine back for evaluation.
I haven't though of that but it's a good idea! Thanks for sharing. Luckily since I'm a one man band I can adjust my workflow around this. But it would be nice to have some tricks like that for the odd time I do record longer.
Same here, did a bunch of 1 minute talking head shots yesterday in 4K 24FPS with the iPad connected and the ZV-E1 overheated very quickly. I wonder how much of a difference it would make with an external monitor connected instead of using the Creators App on the iPad. Maybe the problem could be solved if Sony would release a software update which would enable an optional setting for a higher video streaming compression rate ( lower quality ) and therefor stream less data over WIFI. My guess is that compressing the video in realtime requires lot of power in any case though.
Yeah I'm not sure what would fix it. It sure is nice using the iPad as a monitor though right? I still do it to set up the shot then just turn it off once I get going.
Yes absolutely. That's probably the way to go ( for now ). Thanks for testing the fan btw. Now I know that it won't solve the problem and I can spare myself the extra cash. Maybe I will buy a field monitor at some point. It's still an amazing camera.
@@romanfischer Yeah I too would be curious what shooting with a solid monitor would be like. It would be fun to play around with exposure using false colour too!
@@thesahdstudioThe Viletrox DC-550 looks pretty interesting. One benefit of using an external monitor would be to have it running on the same frame rate as the camera. Also there shouldn't be any latency.
Don't feel bad of the fan noise from the Ulanzi. I have the Tilta fan and it's way louder. Extra feature on the Ulanzi fan, if you connect the USB-C to a battery while on, there's a boost in fan speed.
Oh dang, I didn't know that! I long since returned it otherwise I would test it out lol. I've just changed how I use the camera (don't use the iPad the whole time) and it's great. I just got excited about shooting a certain way that was pretty extreme but now that I've readjusted my expectations I'm happy again with the camera.
I understand. I do short form recordings so I don't run into the overheating issue anyways. I'm glad your current setup works for you!!! @@thesahdstudio
I surprised that fan worked at all since it was just blowing room temp air at the back of your camera. I think it's a good idea to experiment with 24 since you can't afford to upgrade the camera.
It kind of works like a heat pump... It definitely works and the air temp is much cooler than how hot the body gets but yeah, it's working too hard to be sustainable so I'll just use it and won't push it quite so hard from here on out hehe
It's an interesting thought! But no, where I have it the camera wouldn't be affected by it. It's definitely the Creator app running in the background. And honestly, if I'm shooting >4K30 it's just fine for how I shoot. I still LOVE the camera.
With a 128gb SD card in XAVC S-I 4K 600M it says I can only record for 26 minutes...Compare that to XAVC S 4K 200M it says I can record for 1hr 16 minutes.
Hey do you know if you turn the color to 4:2:0, will the recording times be longer? Sometimes I need to record my workshops and they run for over an hour. Any info would help thanks!
I don't really have a lot of experience for running the camera for long durations. I definitely think the lower you can turn the settings the longer you'll be able to record. From things like bit rate to even the screen brightness... Leaving all the doors open as well during recording would help also. I wish I could tell you how long it would last but I cannot. The fan would probably really help in your situation.
Hello! I am writing to you via Google Translate. Please tell me, are you disappointed with the Sony ZV-E1 camera? Do you continue to use it? Or are you thinking of replacing it with a new one? I really want to buy it, and your video is very useful because it shows an example of real use of the ZVE1. Choose between the ZVE1 and the A7C2.
You have to really figure out exactly how you want to use the camera before you buy it to make sure you get the right one. Yes I'm still happy with it and for the price it's the best thing for the dollar. I am a video only guy I have realized and while I would like maybe the Sony FX3 since it probably doesn't overheat it's just too much money for me so I can't justify buying it at this stage. I don't think I could get anything better for what I paid so yes I think as long as you make relatively short videos under 30 minutes in 4k60 or you don't mind shooting 24 or 30 frames per second which you can do a little bit longer than this camera is just absolutely fantastic.
To be honest I have a few studio shots with it in my last video and I think you can see how the quality looks. It's not good enough in the studio to warrant a full video in my opinion.
A product with that price tag and overheat issue, is a faulty product that should not be sold in the first place. Amazing how easily we accept these flaws and then start to look for weird solution and patches.
I know right? I'm still happy with it now that I know what it's limits are and I can play within them... it's like buying a Honda Civic with 600 horse power but normal chassis/tires etc. lol. Sure it's cool to step on it but the rest of the car can't handle it!
Since making this I just don't shoot with the App running and I don't have any issues with overheating anymore. Lesson learned! The fan was helpful though. And yeah, who knows. Not sure if you'd be able to even test that but that would be interesting!
Wow, you're being quite forgiving of it, which is kind of you, but from what I see the fan sucks haha. Only 23 minutes of 4k 60; and then the noise! I wondered about the noise and hearing it even get picked up on your boom mic, nah man, negative 5 stars lol. You're solution is practical though, to work within the limitations of the camera for now. As the channel grows perhaps that fx3 can be a reward down the road to work towards 🤷♂ Thanks for the video and effort put into it 👍
I like your thinking! Haha. Yeah honestly now that I'm back to working in 4k30 and not using the iPad as a monitor non-stop, it's great. I love it. It's hard to always buy the right gear especially when you don't know what you need or what things are capable of, but I'm getting there. Really appreciate your comment 👊
just tell me if i shoot a 2 to 10 minutes 4k 60,. with a lot of cuts like 10 sec to 2 min max duration with camera switch on & off between ,. does it overheat ??
Yesterday I did about 20-30 mins of b-roll (on for 2 mins, off for 30 secs, on for 3 mins off for 1 min) and it got really hot. It probably would have overheated in another 5-10 minutes of shooting that way at 4k60. But it's perfect for me so, I'm still happy with it since I never really shoot for longer than that!
I think this particular fan fits into the little Cove where the flippy screen pops out on the Zv-e1. I'm not sure it would fit other cameras. But there might be other models that do if you have issues with overheating.
Hello from France !!! first I wanted to say that you live in a beautiful place (last video we see the sea maybe....I am not an expert in American geography but it looks like a movie I have seen when I was kid "the goonies"....in 80's....) so, can you make a test in 4K 24, because I want this one or a Sony A7CII (a little beater in overheating issue....) ? Thanks for watching. I am on Vancouver Island (Canada) and it is a very beautiful place to live. It's very fresh and clean over here. Although I was a sucker for France myself too. We loved it there! Oof yeah right?! I mean I guess if you KNOW you'll be doing those kind of shots it's definitely not the camera to get. It'd work in a pinch for shorter shots though since it's a nice size and shoots high quality.
Why not just flip the screen on the camera or use the hdmi out and connect a small monitor/TV? That should definitely generate less heat. Also 24fps doesn’t look good on most monitors/phones as they’re in 60 hz refresh rate. It drops frames ...
Oh I always use the fllippy screen but it's too small to make sure my desk is level or something isn't right in the shot. Now that I'm only using the iPad at the beginning and not letting it run the camera is just fine. I considered plugging in an external monitor but I like keeping it small and efficient.
I think the zv-e1 would absolutely crush the a6700 in low light which is how I use it mostly and why I bought it. But outdoors and it good light the a6700 is fantastic for sure. I still would always take the zv as a UA-cam camera personally.
True but you need powerful lights with smaller sensors and mine aren't that good. They are barely enough for a full frame sensor... I have to pull it up so much in post. This is just my opinion of course. I'm not a professional. Just a UA-camr testing it out myself. I didn't use the a6700 but I used the a6400 a Lot
For the Sony a1 recording in 8K30 the A1 would overheat in 40 minutes. Adding this repurposed Macbook fan allows me to go 11 hours continuous recording in 8k30fps. ua-cam.com/video/IFqYIwcExS4/v-deo.html I don't have the ZV-E1 to test though.
Wow that long eh? I'm just on the road and haven't been able to fully watch your video. I'm assuming you had to externally power the fan then? Yeah that's pretty bonkers that it helps that much. That's sick!!

I don't know, I think the image quality it gets for the price is almost unrivalled. It comes at a HUGE tradeoff though like you are saying... limited shooting modes, it overheats if you shoot for too long etc. But in the right circumstances, like I use 99% of the time, it's the best camera there is for the price/size.
@thesahdstudio ultimately its a video camera with 4k UNRISTRICTED recording, if you're willing to pay £2000 for restrictions knowing all you can do is make small videos then when the day comes to make a long video you will need to buy another camera
@@navpreetsingh8156 Yeah definitely. But the jump up from this camera to the next one (a7siii/fx3) is a LOT. You really need to know exactly how you will use the camera before you buy it or else you might end up with the wrong thing like you mentioned. Could be a pricey mistake!
First of all why would you do Talking Head videos in 4K-60? Do them in 4K-24 or 4K-30. There’s no point in shooting a talking head vid in 60 frames. In fact if you do want to do 60 fps then do 1080. It will save memory space and mitigate overheating. But again 60 Frames is for action videos Second the whole point of the ZV-E1 is to strip the body down from the FX3/A7s3 body and maintain the sensor. If you want to use it for long video go buy the A7S3 or FX3 or even the FX30. Even the A7iv doesn’t overheat like the ZV-E1
Yeah I mean if you know Sooner cameras than you know that about the sensor... But when you just buy it based on their marketing you might have different expectations like I did. I just like the look of 60 fps, what can I say. I know Tony Northrup shots it on his channel and I just think it looks cool. A lot of people hate that soap opera effect... I love it!
@@thesahdstudio that’s fine if you like 60FPS…but you have the wrong camera- sell it and buy a used A7S3 or FX3 The you won’t have to worry about overheating. BTW I heard that if you change out the battery it helps with overheating

100 gigs!!? lolz. That's rad it worked so well. How long would the camera go in that mode usually before overheating?
@@thesahdstudio it overheated on me during a recital. I was trying to record non stop and right around the 30 minute mark. So I had to turn off the camera and waited a few minutes and I recorded meanwhile with my phone. Lucky it was a video for my niece but tbh without a fan I wouldn’t risk it again. I have the fx30 now but still use the ZV-E10 as a back up.
Cool explanations, but I wonder are the vibrations from the fan affecting the footage? Thanks
Thanks ! I’d like to shoot 60 minute podcast videos. Could the zve1 do that in an apartment at 4k24?
It's hard to recommend for that usage to be totally honest. In the same budget you could get the FX 30 and that is a safe camera to recommend for longer shoots with its built-in fan. Plus you could have the freedom to create any kind of video! Might be worth considering.
Probably not
I wonder if you can hook up a computer monitor directly to the camera? You can get those CHEAP these days a thrift stores, etc and while it wont broadcast back at you in 4k you will still have a monitor to view yourself.
Yeah that's not a bad idea. I think I'm cool with just setting up the shot with the iPad now then turning it off. We'll see how the next few vids feel, idnthe workflow feels good.
Have you tried installing a TILTA TA-T35-CS-B fan? Maybe it will work longer...
Never even heard of that before. Thanks for the share I'll check it out!
And tell us about ur workflow and equipment for crispy audio!
Haha yeah I'm going toak a studio tour maybe this week! Thanks for your comments
The fastest way to overheat your camera is to enable WiFi and remote connect from your phone
Oh yeah I definitely figured that out the hard way.
Just get an FX3/FX30 already. Soooo worth it in the long run.
Man if I could find a used one in my area I would. We had to move to a stupid island where the used market is weak! I miss those mainland deals! Not sure I'd feel good buying the big boy new. I'm still happy with the ol' zv... I just got a little excited then disappointed there. I'm back to normal lol
I'm curious if there is a better way to monitor with the ZV-E1. Specifically, a monitor with USB charging would be ideal.
Have you tried using a dummy battery for external power? It might help since battery generates a lot of heat
I haven't though of that but it's a good idea! Thanks for sharing. Luckily since I'm a one man band I can adjust my workflow around this. But it would be nice to have some tricks like that for the odd time I do record longer.
I usually shoot 4K25 10 bit 422 at around 20°C indoors without creator app or anything and with the ulanzi fan i get pretty much unlimited runtime
Yeah that's sweet. I'm addicted to shooting in 60 FPS so I'm kind of screwed 😫
Now I know that it won't solve the problem and I can spare myself
the extra cash.
This is great, thank you.
Glad you found the video 👊 thanks for the positive vibes!
Just shot a wedding for 8 hours… half in 4k60 and half in 4k 24 both in 4.22 10bit slog3 … did not have one over heating warning
Ceremony was outside and i shot at 4k24 for 35 mins continuously …all 10 bit 4.22 slog 3
Wow, really? Man mine still overheats in 4K60 after like 20-25 minutes... that's amazing you were able to get through it with no problems.
Have you consider that the big light so close to the camera is heating it up ?
It's an interesting thought! But no, where I have it the camera wouldn't be affected by it. It's definitely the Creator app running in the background. And honestly, if I'm shooting >4K30 it's just fine for how I shoot. I still LOVE the camera.
Hi, could you test this mode XAVC S-I 4K 600M 4:2:2 10bit/500M 4:2:2 10bit I'm curious how much you can record in this mode
Shahd can u do a video using zv e1 vs pocket 3 as studio camera?
To be honest I have a few studio shots with it in my last video and I think you can see how the quality looks. It's not good enough in the studio to warrant a full video in my opinion.
A product with that price tag and overheat issue, is a faulty product that should not be sold in the first place. Amazing how easily we accept these flaws and then start to look for weird solution and patches.
I know right? I'm still happy with it now that I know what it's limits are and I can play within them... it's like buying a Honda Civic with 600 horse power but normal chassis/tires etc. lol. Sure it's cool to step on it but the rest of the car can't handle it!
the fan might work better blowing the air away from the camera
As the channel grows perhaps that fx3 can be a reward down the road to work towards 🤷♂
Thanks for the video and effort put into it 👍
I like your thinking!
Wow.
Do you think it's possible to use this fan on models like the Sony a5100 or a6000?
I think this particular fan fits into the little Cove where the flippy screen pops out on the Zv-e1. I'm not sure it would fit other cameras. But there might be other models that do if you have issues with overheating.
@@thesahdstudio Oh I see. Thanks for the speedy replyyy! Always love your videos ✨👏
@elyt aw thanks. Really appreciate the support! 👊
Hello from France !!!
first I wanted to say that you live in a beautiful place (last video we see the sea maybe....I am not an expert in American geography but it looks like a movie I have seen when I was kid "the goonies"....in 80's....)
so, can you make a test in 4K 24, because I want this one or a Sony A7CII (a little beater in overheating issue....) ?
THanks, for videos, great job.
Thanks for watching. I am on Vancouver Island (Canada) and it is a very beautiful place to live. It's very fresh and clean over here. Although I was a sucker for France myself too. We loved it there!
Yes I have videos talking about 4k 24 coming up next. Stay tuned!! Are you considering both of these cameras (zv-e1 and a7cII)? Do you have a camera now?
I sold my Sony A7IV last year when Panasonic released S5 mark II (great camera too). but in the end of 2023 I sold it for minimize my set up (I am not pro but just passionate and I wanted to make a chalenge) for dii cosmo pocket 3! I wanted to make short films with it...but...I am not really "satisfied" and I think I will go to Sony ZVE1 or A7CII (I love the image quality of A7IV)...
@ninay7685 you sound like me! 😂 Blasting through gear... It's fun right, playing around with different cameras? So what didn't you like about the Panasonic? I'd love to know more about that camera.
I too have the pocket 3 and I wear going to return it but I didn't notice the restocking fee so I guess I'll keep it. I think it will be fun to use though so I'm ok with that.
i am a "acheteur compulsif" (in fresh), I like trying cameras, and I am always attracted by news devices...😔 so I buy and few months later I sell...I would like a camera like Cosmo pocket with af and image of A7IV! impossible in 2024.
panasonic S5 mark II is fantastic, af is not like Sony but almost close. Sensitivity is very good, not like Sony but very good (better than a6700, normal because apse vs full frame). body is perfect too, with fan, imagine great (science of Panasonic), 6K open gate...but like I said I want to minimize my set up. OSmo pocket is not enought in quality but I think that A7CII could be the good choice. I will try, again!!!!
Soory for my English.
@@ninay7685 Haha your English is rad! Good job. Yeah it sounds like you are having fun. And I know... there is no perfect camera it seems. Nothing beats a bigger camera with a bigger lens as far as quality goes right?
what settings were in the camera menu "auto power off temp." Standard or High? In "standard" any camera show overheat, but if you change to "high" camera works without overheat. How to change it ua-cam.com/video/arQp7WAwukk/v-deo.html
Great comment! And yes, it was set to HIGH for all the tests. I have updated my pinned comment 👊
if shooting handheld or on gimbal it will probably be worse as the IBIS would be working too
Oof yeah right?!
Video starts @1:31
👊 usually I try and add the timestamps but sometimes I get too busy to remember.
zv-e1 not have 4k capability fully, i think, beter go with a6700.
I think the zv-e1 would absolutely crush the a6700 in low light which is how I use it mostly and why I bought it. But outdoors and it good light the a6700 is fantastic for sure. I still would always take the zv as a UA-cam camera personally.
@@thesahdstudio you are taking the video indoor controlled area, you can arrange the lighting
Adding this repurposed Macbook fan allows me to go 11 hours continuous recording in 8k30fps. ua-cam.com/video/IFqYIwcExS4/v-deo.html
I don't have the ZV-E1 to test though.
Wow that long eh? I'm just on the road and haven't been able to fully watch your video. I'm assuming you had to externally power the fan then? Yeah that's pretty bonkers that it helps that much. That's sick!!
@@thesahdstudio It's a repurposed Macbook fan mounted on a 3d printed frame. I run the same fan set up on each of the three other a7S3 recording 12 hours each continuously.
@pomanproductions6826 yeah sweet, just far the video. Nicely done 👊
ZV-E1 could be one of the worse video cameras on the market, in 2023-2024 we still have cameras that have recording modes that are limited
The price is still good even let's just say it does not have 4k 60p. It can only do 4k 24/30p. And then no overheat.
@@navpreetsingh8156 if you’re making long videos just spend double on the FX3.
First of all why would you do Talking Head videos in 4K-60? Do them in 4K-24 or 4K-30. There’s no point in shooting a talking head vid in 60 frames. In fact if you do want to do 60 fps then do 1080. It will save memory space and mitigate overheating. But again 60 Frames is for action videos
Second the whole point of the ZV-E1 is to strip the body down from the FX3/A7s3 body and maintain the sensor.
I love it!
@@thesahdstudio that’s fine if you like 60FPS…but you have the wrong camera- sell it and buy a used A7S3 or FX3
The you won’t have to worry about overheating. BTW I heard that if you change out the battery it helps with overheating
@@puckhead1221 You are right... I just got a little excited about shooting in 4k60 but I certainly don't need to. For now I'll just settle back into shooting in 24/30, then when I want to bump up my game I'll consider upgrading. I feel like Sony is going to release the update to those cameras soon. At least the A7s lineup.
Fan came 😅
🤣
You know I was down on the ZV-E1 for a bit there but I'm back to loving it again. It's just so good as long as you use it properly.

@CO8848_2 haha yeah exactly! That'd actually be rad to see someone build a contraption to keep this baby ice cold.... Even though they could just buy a fx3, that's not the point!
Water cooling? Could work great, I used it with 3d printer and it is quiet, there will be no noise from fan. But of coure, this is not the correct method, it should work out of box
