It would also explain why Sheogorath later mentioned the realm with the word ‘new’ in its name during the events of Skyrim before you obtain the Wabbajack, and that he was apparently on vacation for 200 years.

I never heard the ogma infinium one due to how difficult that quest is to start from the beginning. At times when I first started playing the elder scrolls (Oblivion was my first elder scrolls game) I thought Hermaeous Mora was the most powerful Daedra because of how difficult it is for me to obtain that quest. Now in days we all know who's the strongest daedra. Or was the strongest. Jyggalag
Herma Mora isn't the strongest however he's no slouch. I haven't heard any other princes invading Apocrypha like how Dagon invaded the colored rooms of Merida, or when him and Molag Bal had beef

In ESO, there's a brief part where you visit a destroyed plane of Oblivion, a would-have-been 18th Daedric prince, Killed, seemingly permanently, by Mehrunes Dagon. Their name is lost, but it would be even more interesting to see how he'd react to an artifact from an unknown dead god.
Sword of Jyggalag: Jyggalag is a relatively unknown prince. I don't know how you obtained this, but it must have been difficult. Merunes' Razor: How ironic we are to use Dagon's own vile weapon against him. There are few whom could resist the temptation of this powerful weapon. Well done my friend.

He used to be a follower of sanguine but decided it was too evil and then became a priest at the chapel of akatosh in kvatch. Martins story is one of redemption, which is why I like him and the champion of cyrodill. They both rose from dishonor and became the saviors of tamriel.
Makes me wonder if Martin didn't turn into the aspect of Akatosh and defeated Dagon, but instead found other measures along with the Hero Of Kvatch to defeat Dagon, would the 3rd Dominion not be born?
I believe it would have been happen anyway even if Martin was alive, the main reason was simply the oblivion crisis after it ended the imperial legion in stance at the summerset Islands were to weak the thalmor who already was a faction claim they were the ones that have ended the crisis someone not those who didn't were either executed or exile, so in the end the oblivion crisis set the field for the thalmor to take control.

I think theres no best choice. It depends alot on your character. Like if you are a mage with master alteration and can magically open every lock the skeleton key is useless for you.

the hero of kvatch is not Sheogorath, he was consumed by the mad God and probably even exist anymore

For the first few playthroughs, I never realized I could give any Daedric Artifact other than Azura's Star.
