Most people, including business owners, are not these "smart" people. It's a screening method to weed people out, but someone who smokes weed isn't implicitly a bad employee, and vice versa. There's a big law gap, but thank our education system for that.

Yes! Urine-Luck kept me employed for many years. It’s a shame I even had to do it though- it was just marijuana and now it’s legal where I live and my employer doesn’t even test for it now.
The problem is marijuana stays in your system for 30 days or more you could do it on vacation and take a test 3 weeks later and it'll be positive and that shouldn't affect your job I could see if you were high on the job but they don't have a test for that yet just like alcohol you're allowed to drink but you're not allowed to drink while you're working
