The projector thing works, it's called Camera Obscura. You can get the same effect with a pinhole but it will be allot more fuzzy and you need a much darker room/brighter source.
The Fumbler Actually, it wouldn't work with a magnifying glass( what they said to use in the video), because a magnifying glass creates a virtual image (which can't be projected) and not a real image (which would be projected and inverted), also the virtual image created would not be inverted. We just went over optics in my physics class, so I only know now that this wouldn't work.

Two years later i am here to happily tell you that magnifying glass + phone thing does really work, cause physics baby 😂 not as good as they show and it takes a lot of adjustments to find the right placements, but you can get a clear image on the wall from your phone in complete darkness P.s. i haven’t used the box tho

Two years later i am here to happily tell you that magnifying glass + phone thing does really work, cause physics baby 😂 not as good as they show and it takes a lot of adjustments to find the right placements, but you can get a clear image on the wall from your phone in complete darkness

I know it's about 4 years late, but that iPhone trick does really work, that's actually how they made some of the first projectors, they were usually used for paintings at the time :)
