DETAILS:
SDPD officers found a stolen BMW using their Patrol Vehicle's License Plate Reader camera. The officers attempted to stop the driver, but he fled at a high speed on the city streets. He made his way onto the northbound I-15, but at some point, he hit something, causing his right front tire to flatten.
He hit speeds of over 90 mph while on the freeway.
As he neared Aero Dr, the flat tire caused the driver to lose control, and he crashed into the center divider. The suspect then foot bailed and ran across the southbound lanes of the I-15. He jumped off a 12-foot wall and entered the Fuel Farm along Murphy Canyon Rd.
At some point, he high-jacked a golf cart from an employee. The suspect then drove to the west side of the Fuel Farm and ran to the brush on the hillside.
A large manhunt was conducted by the officers, and a K-9 was deployed when the suspect refused to surrender. The suspect was bit several times and then was arrested. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for the dog bites. Both northbound and southbound traffic lanes were stopped for the Police activity.
Let me guess: Suspect had numerous prior felony arrests.

Try putting on 10 or 20 extra pounds of equipment and do some running. You would run weird too.
She's running up a slant hill and she's wearing a lot of equipment, it was probably hard to run fast on a slant. I've seen people jog or run to work out and some look like they had past injuries or it's just genetics in how people walk or run.

He could have just accepted his fate, and immediate surrendered and be charged with grand theft auto. Instead, he chose to run, resulting in a wrecked BMW and additional charges for reckless driving, assault and more theft in forcibly stealing the golf cart on top of evading arrest.
