Thank you very much for putting so much time & effort into this awesome project. I'm new to the FPV world, and have found the tiny whoop niche to be very fun and interesting. I just purchased your Hachidorii V2 from cncdrones and am stoked to try it out as my first ever tiny whoop build!
thank you for watching and supporting me man! I love tinywhoops too and building them has always been something I want to simplify which was one goal of the hachidorii. If you need any help, hit me up at discord! [rice.bowl_9202]
glad to hear your like my video style! there's I post I made prior to the vid of what the editing looks like and I think it's worth it especially when I get comments like yours!
I have been looking at buying a 75 and I’m not a big fan of fully plastic frames as they can bend so this is exactly what I was looking for! Confirmed buy from me if you make it available!! 😁
Same here honestly cause I feel like there's so much improvements that can be made for those 75 frames....who knows maybe someday I get my hands on an injection molder XD thankss! will be announcing stuff soon for orders!
I genuinely enjoy this build. I also have a nodded mobeetle that I use as reference but I just like how smooth my Hachidorii V2 is! I'll announce soon regarding international shipping!
You should try to enable crash detection in beta flight. It was a gamechanger for me and kept my whoop in the air for the majority of crashes. Awesome build!
gone be out very soon! all the pictures, write up, and info is already finished. CNCMadness is just currently sourcing out M2x15mm screws. This will allow analog builds to have some extra space and will be just enough for digital builds!
Great video! I'd like to try this frame. How do you pid tuning whoops? Do you use external loggers like openlager? I have experience in tuning freestyle and racing 5 inch drones, but I struggle tuning 65mm whoop
For sure man! I'll be announcing stuff about orders soon! I actually start with UAVtech's whoop tune first (especially the filters) and adjust it going forward. I don't like having additional weight for these so it's all just by feel 😅. the Hachidorii V2 has slightly less filtering needed and I believe D and P sliders as 1.3 and master slider at 1.2...some other adjustments here and there on I term more on this on the next video for it's build!
Actually, some of my beta testers flew it outside ductless! however the one that had dvr was using the ductless version of the 75 (only difference was a little bit more carbon at the arm ends to protect motors and potentially tpu arm ends and 2mm CF) Here's a link to his video: ua-cam.com/video/bVrHHQLjB3w/v-deo.html
that's actually smth I wanted to keep in mind. Wanted people to have an easy time removing the ducts incase they want to fly outdoors (as I think anything outdoors should be open prop). also, in the first min of the vid, I do go to an extremely windy mountain. Though it was a little shakey, it still flew well in spots with a little less wind so I'm sure it'll do well!
Looks super interesting! Will definitely think more about this because I've been wanting to get more into whoops especially indoors That being said though price is definitely a big thing for me 😅 broke teenager here How much do you reckon youd run the kits for? (Apologies if you mentioned this already and I missed it)
I think indoor whoops is the way to go hehe! As for the price, I am currently selling this at $12.99 but that's only for locals. Im not yet sure how I'll handle international orders since I make all frames myself. Likely, the base price will be around that +- %
I appreciate it fam! been practicing for a while now and slowly getting better hehe The cnc I use is a custom designed one! it's a dual y axis type cnc that I made it with some extrusions and 3D prints
@@im_ricebowl that's impressive, are you just using a dremil for the cutting tool? I imagine the tolerances on those axes must be really dialled in to precisely mill such a small frame.
@@kandredfpv honestly, it's just enough that it makes these simple type frames pretty well. There's a bunch of things I do when making the NC program and that's to accommodate the tolerances my cnc can achieve. Ill actually upgrade soon. Wanted smth like the Millennium Mill MILO but it's so hard to find C beams in the Philippines 💀
yuppp biblades work fine too! i just went to triblade cause I fly in a really small room and that added yaw authority helps lots. Feel free to use biblade fam!
What pinch grippies do you have on the controller? And if i wanna build something very durable what tiny whoop for indoor freestyle and race would you suggest? I just subscribe to ur channel
I believe these are just the ones that come with it but I did get this 2nd hand so I'm not 100% sure. If it's durability you're after, the Hachidorii V2 does come in a 2mm T700 variant which should be more durable than any plastic frame whoop. Use rcinpower motors and keep the build super light and you'll have something that is extra durable. Thanks man! I appreciate it!
@@im_ricebowl when i have time ill try follow ur build, but can i ask if i will have problems with betaflight can i ask you? Cause i always have problem with software

Glad you like it fam! I wish i could give a definitive schedule but so far it's a little difficult to guess when it'll be available but in currently emailing a few places so there's progress! my last ditch resort would be to sell the cad designs
@OneTakeFPV Actually I'm talking to a few people right now for manufacturing and selling the physical frame and one of them is located in Germany! Will update you guys soon about this!
good question! Here's a run down of the differences: - different method for attaching the ducts. The Hachidorii V2 can easily remove the ducts with just the 4 FC screws and require normal 3mm M1.4 screws instead of longer ones (that increase weight by a bit). it's easier to find PEEK 3mm M1.4 screws too. - The battery straps on the Hachidorii V2 press the lipo against the frame instead of wraping around the lipo like the fractal. This could lead to better vibration dampening (Accrd. to Quad66) - Hachidorii V2 also does not require you to use specific parts (like the diamond f4 which is hard to find these days) to reach the 24g limit that I think should be the max dry weight of a 75. As shown in the video, I'm also using pretty heavy parts and an external vtx but I come right below 23g.
