Hi Sébastien, I was fortunate that the law wasn't enforced when I visited. I checked directly with the national park office, and they didn't require a guide. I even trekked through Sagarmatha National Park (Everest base camp) without one. However, it's hard to say if this will remain the same in the future. Thanks for subscribing! 😊

Ah..the scenery was really stunning. And you captured it very subtly with layering of human story. Thank you for this sharing. May I suggest as well to do a separate narrated video to share your thought about this journey and what's the behind the scene planning about. Many of us here are eager hikers and surely would want to experience such joyful journey one day so if we have knowledge of your experience and planning behind them, it certainly will be very much helpful and appreciated. Hi, thanks! It's technically prohibited there, but they don’t really check. So, I flew in a less crowded area, away from the helicopter flight zone, I also hiked to Everest Base Camp and the Three Passes, where it was highly restricted.

Thanks so much! I created those animated maps in After Effects. As a motion designer, I crafted them manually without using any templates.

The Mardi Himal trek began in late March, and the base camp starting in early April
