My husband made this hike in his 30's long before I knew him..He was such an adventurer..David..I miss him so much...ty for showing me what he saw..Absolutely magnificent
I was there in Pokhara for a trekking trip to ABC base camp. But I had to cancel it due to the unpleasant weather. I have a few questions to ask. Please reply
A solo trip to remote and strange region like this helps you discover yourself. You learn to appreciate your life more , you gain a whole new perspective on life !
I did this is 2004 as part of an organised trek. Nepal is such a magnificent county as are its people. It changed my life completely which gave me a new perspective on how I see the world. I’m now grateful and thankful for the small things in life and don’t worry if the big things don’t come my way.
Thank you so much for writing the names of the mountains, I've never been there, but always wanted to know which mountains you can see around. None of the other hikers seems to care about this.
My now husband and I done this hike back in 2019 with a company called ' Himalayan Wonders' for my 40th, its still fresh in our minds like it was yesterday , we still talk about the memories, absolutely amazing experience, if anyone ever gets the opportunity , take it. Thank you for showing your journey x
That's incredible! I'm so glad you took on this adventure and had those beautiful moments. I'm relatively new to creating content on this platform (as a hobby), but hearing stories like yours makes it feel like I'm making new friends. Thank you for sharing and take care!
The people might not have much but they look so happy. I will want to do Everest Base Camp when I retire in a few years time. In the meantime, training to keep my body fit for my future trip.Thank you for this inspiring video. There is something heroic about a man/woman with a big backpack climbing the mountains alone.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! Your future Everest Base Camp adventure sounds incredible and I'm very happy about it-keeping fit in the meantime is such a smart approach. And feel free to ask any question I'm happy to answer!
Beautiful story telling. Beautiful journey. Beautiful landscapes. Beautiful editing. Beautiful experience. Thanks for posting this video in ASMR, Amir 🌄
I am just at a loss for words. This is incredible, not only your solo journey and experience but the thought and effort you put into making this video. All of it is just, perfect. I felt like I was there with you and you sir, are brave. Just amazing. I am all set for doing the Everest Base Camp trek early next year and I will be rewatching this at least once a month until I get on the flight haha. If anything, I am extremely interested to know what you packed, and how did everything work out for you (stuff that you used, stuff that you never did). Keep on keeping on bud, going to check your other videos now.
Hi Ghulam, Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad the video resonated with you! I'll definitely share more about what I packed and how everything worked out in a seperate "how to" video, I'm planing to shoot that and share it with you soon, so please let me know all your questions that I should answer in there. Thanks
So peaceful and complete. Thanks for not disturbing everoyone's experience by talking 24/7 like most of the guys out there do. Much appreciated sir! :)
I did this trek in April this year. Your journey refreshed my memories and showed me what truly matters. We could've been on the trail at the same time.
Really an outstanding video. I just watched all of your videos today and I really like your style. It feels like watching an informative aswell as relaxing cinematic to introduce a region you really like to others. Looking forward to what is there to come :)
I was expecting to see some million subscribers. Shocked to see only 728. But this is just mind blowing. Not only the act itself, soloing 3 passes, but the video, scenery, story telling, everything is just amazing
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the video and the journey. The subscriber count may be small for now, but comments like yours make it all worth it.
This is really an amazing experience I really love watching and I pray to whomsoever is listening grant me strength to attempt this trek once in my life
I did this with my son in 2019. Epic and what a treasure to do this with him. Talking about bonding! This is one of the best vid's of this trip. Thanks for uploading it. (You sure put in a couple of hard days!). Cheers
The video really stands out very well from the rest of many other makers. It comes very close to my ideas of a great video, pleasant and discreet musis, not cheesy or instrusive and for me a good feeling for really emphatic pictures and situation of encounters. I also like, that you can also perceive background noises and the environment. The author also does not appear as the great and instructive world traveller: very pleasant and symathic. I enjoyed it.
That is a very high quality video in terms of its production quality…but more importantly in terms of story telling. Well done mate. What an adventure. And to be able to capture it to relive it over and over again is truly amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing video and adventure. You are a poet. There's no need to say much, the beautiful images say it all. The important thing is to be connected to the place and the people.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video. I completely agree, it's all about that connection to the place and the people, and I want to keep my travels that way!
I really liked this video, especially for the Composition. you showed everything wonderfully with it's peak beauty. Loved that you made it solo and had shot some amazing landscapes of your Journey. It inspires me to take one. Thanks so much

amazing, just I don t understand something. How could you do this alone. according to news from April 2023. the nepali government banned the solo trekking and only with guide you can go which is quite expensive. I also want to go but their price is too high.
Hi Jozsef, thanks! When I visited (in April 2024), the law wasn’t being enforced despite the announcement. I hiked to the national park entrance to check personally, and found out they didn’t require a guide. I was ready to hire one if necessary. I also hiked in the Annapurna region, and the situation was the same. This might change in the future, so it's worth checking if the law is being enforced when you visit.

I have watched so many videos of this trek and this is by far the best. So beautifully shot, I can only dream of producing something so perfect 👌🏽 I will go and visit the region maybe in 2026, very excited but first I want to prepare my body and bank account! Thanks for sharing your experience and presenting it so peacefully, letting the beauty speak for itself. I’m looking forward to seeing more from your channel, and being inspired by your perfect cinematography. Take care and enjoy your travels!
Really appreciate the level of detail in the video. Can't imagine the amount of time it took to put it together. The lack of narration was perfect. Just natural sounds. Well done. A very cathartic journey for you. :)
beautifull...i did the everest base camp through Gokyo and Chola pass...one of the best experience of my life. Ypur video remand me this peacefull and beautifull atmosfere you breath there....thank you
Such an amazing solo trek to Everest Base Camp and the Three Passes! The views look absolutely stunning, and I can only imagine how peaceful it must have been out there alone in the mountains. Crossing those passes must’ve been tough, but totally worth it for the experience. Thanks for sharing this journey - it’s really inspiring!
Wow, this video beautifully captures the grandeur of the Three Passes Trek! I had no idea about it-I’ve only heard of the Everest Base Camp trek. The views of the towering peaks and the unique landscapes are mind-blowing.
Beautiful video and thank you for adding names of peaks. I have done the Annapurna Circuit in 2022 and this video reminded me the breathtaking Nepali nature, local people and how peaceful it is. You have done a great job and congratulations on hiking through three passes and reaching EBC.
@@AmirXplores We went there at the beginning of October, but as the monsoon season hadn't finished yet, there were some landslides on the route, so perhaps it might be better to go around mid October. Thanks to the weather, there were not that many people on the trail, but gradually as the weather improved, we would start meeting more hikers. Still there was plenty of room and space for everyone, no queues. Thorong Phedi lodges (4,450) can be quite crowded as it is right before the Thorong La pass (5,416) and then Poon Hill will be super busy at dawn as everyone wants to catch the sunrise and take pictures, but that is expected. :-) If I can recommend, hike the whole circuit, as nature after Jomsom is equally beautiful. We went from Besisahar to Nayapul, in total around 250km, total elevation gain 11,685, total elevation loss 11,358. It can be done in 15 days including 1 day for acclimatization, but I would suggest to take more days, and include e.g. a one day hike to Khicho Ice Lake, close to Manang. I had found out about this place only when we reached our hut and I feel sorry to miss it as we didn't have enough time.
Thankyou for Exploring Everest. Do come back man! Try to visit Westerns Nepal, Its beautifully beautiful. Shey-Phoksundo Lake, Rara Lake, Limi Valley are priceless.
Of course! Are you from Nepal? I'm interested in learning about lesser-known places there. If you have any information to share, I'd really appreciate it!
This is video is so beautifully made only shows the thought and effort put behing it 👏 ❤️ As an aspiring climber it makes me exited to summit some cool mountains 🤞🏻
Wonderful video & brought back some great memories. I just hiked this in Oct/Nov with my best mate & it was hard, but wonderful. Seeing this makes me want to go back & walk it again! I found Renjo La the hardest out of the 3 Passes, tbh. Thanks for sharing this superb video❤
Glad you enjoyed it! I strongly agree with you about the Renjo La, it was very steep to get up there, thats why I coudnt record that part very well lol TBH I wanna go back to nepal as well! missing those giant mountains
Absolutely breathtaking documentary, was awestruck throughout the entire video. Amazing cinematography and audio. I really love the audio used in this video, could you please make a list of the songs/audios that were used and if in future you could also list them in the description of your videos. Thanks so much, earned a subscriber!
This video is healing. I would never be able to travel to these places but seeing this video makes me feel happy and serene. In my next life, I would love to do those things. Hopefully, I'm not as poor in my next life and chicken lol.
Wow you have perfectly captured the stunning majesty of the mountains, making me feel like I'm standing right there amidst the natural splendor. Could you tell me which camera and lens you have used to take such a breathtaking pictures.
Wooaaa... What incredible moments of discovery, both outward and inward you've experienced, and such a stunning video footage you've made! Thank you so much for sharing. Your story telling through words, sounds, images and well planned footage angle is truly inspiring! I enjoyed very much every second of your video. I was wondering how tough it was to decide where to put the tripod, and then to shoot each scene, to go back and forth for every single footage in such weather and challenging places which demand a very good stamina, and the video editing and rendering after, not even to count the time and hardwork you made for this, and all by yourself! Wooaaa... Two thumbs up! It was undeniably awesome! You really have a passion and a strong will to do that! I wish you all the best and great success and I am awaiting for your next videos, Amir! ❤❤❤

Thanks for the info and tips! I copied this to refer to later! cheers and have fun in your upcoming trips

Hi Joseph, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the video and that the storytelling resonated with you-it truly made my day!
