the van looks real cool. as far as any real function as a camper van, it has just about zero. no water, no cassette toilet, to many seats and no cabinets, no tv, no refrigeration, no outside security viewing features, no solar power array, no small cooking area like propane stove, cant even boil water for coffee or tea. may sound critical but its obvious that this van is something you take the family to the water park in, that is about it. but it looks cool on the outside.
Yeah it's pretty much like a suburban. just has a big space inside. that's about it. If I were to buy, I would use it for a movie date night with a girl so I can drive to the remote area....nobody can hear the scream...lol
I bet it's nice and warm in the Naples Florida sun. Is there a secondary ac? How about shore power? My Krystal koach shuttle bus has more camping amenities than that mall crawler. Is camping in Naples, related to driving to the Ritz Carlton, ordering the Coconut shrimp and a bottle of Dom then passing out on the fold down bench in the parking lot?
As soon as she climbed the ladder to the roof, I was like, “No solar panels?” I didn’t even need to see the interior to know this is no “camper van” but was surprised to see it has absolutely nothing inside that might even suggest “camping” in it. Sure, the ground clearance and suspension will easily take you off-road to remote areas but what do you do when you get there? Crank out the awning? The kids are like, “We’re thirsty, dusty and hungry.” “Sorry kids, no running water, no shower, not even a hint of a toilet. And we forgot a tent, stove and cooler. No storage at all for food or beverages. Enjoy the view. Let’s go home. There’s a McDonald’s back there a few hundred miles.” Camper van? I think not.
@@codybrady6637, Agree there. I was going to mention the tailgating benefits of this van. You got the awning. Big plus at a concert or sports venue on a hot summer day. Take out the seats in the middle and you have room for a smoker, bunch of coolers, or whatever. Definitely a head-turning van. The sound system is perfect for a tailgating van. In the woods somewhere? Crank up that stereo and become public enemy number one.
@@annzarro8331, Yeah man, the mileage has to be a killer. You’re not going far in this thing unless you’re rich and stupid. Or maybe if your idea of “camping” is in the 7-11 parking lot across the street from your condo. Easy trip up the elevator for more supplies. This monster van was converted into a “camper van”. I’m thinking the addition of the awning made it a bonafide camper van. I’m glad I’ll never see this van anywhere near my camping spots.
There’s a modern appeal of “camping” I sort of laugh at now because I’m old. Well, I’m 59. Still feel like I’m 6. Still remember when I was six years old. I haven’t changed much since then. My attitude toward life and love for it hasn’t changed for the most part and I think I’m not alone in that. My dad took me camping on the Indian reservation in northern Wisconsin every Easter weekend since I was a toddler. He knew the chief since they were Army buddies during Vietnam. Me and my dad were the only white people allowed on the reservation. As a baby, I didn’t consider the significance of that and now I know it was just the times I was lucky enough to enjoy. There were white people in truck campers and things that tried to trespass on Indian land. They were chased off. Or worse. You can’t just camp wherever you want back then. Me and dad camped on the reservation on every Easter Sunday, not for the religious significance but because that’s when the ice on the Wolf River usually broke. And man, that was insane. School bus sized ice chunks came down the falls taking out trees and anything in their path. “That’s Mother Nature doing her thing”, my dad told me. My mom and baby sister would never be here, Dad only brought me. He figured I could handle this as a toddler and he was right. Learning things years later from my Indian friends on the reservation every Easter weekend, I really wanted to be an Indian. I’m Irish with a little Shawnee blood in there so I felt more Indian than white on the reservation at twelve years old now. I cried when I had to go back to the slums of Chicago for “school”. I learned everything I needed to know in life right here on the reservation every Easter. Wore a feather in my long hair because it just felt right. Took it out on the way back to Chicago though. It wouldn’t look right there. I was a Chicago kid for most of every year and I saved my hawk feather only for the times it made sense. Up on the reservation, I had family and my feather was not just a symbol, but normal. If I showed up on the reservation without my feather, they’d think I’d gone wrong. I’d missed the point. I’d been brainwashed. No way that was going to happen, so I brought my feather. I remember this old Indian lady weaving it expertly into my hair. She smiled at me. “Now you know which direction the wind blows.” And I did. I learned that being a white kid in this paradise would get me beat up. I learned how to defend myself and if I punched out an Indian kid I knew for years as a friend, I’d become a man. So I did. Everything is fair. No cheating allowed. If you win, you get respect. If you lose, try again. Either way, this was my family on Easter weekends since I could barely walk. As I think back on it, I remember being the only white kid there, ever. I felt special. At 16 years old, my dad took me back to the reservation. I was excited. None of my friends in Chicago were anywhere near as cool as these people. They were liars, cheats, thieves. None of my Indian friends were that. I was welcomed back and hugged everyone. An elder in the tribe was dying and I felt that pain. Fast forward to today. A bunch of young people with technology and cell phones are trying to accomplish something as simple as living in the woods for a while. You're right, it would be great for that! However, he would need a special ladder to climb into it hahaha
My gosh what a van
Very unique to say the least!

How much and do you take trades
How much are you asking for it?

I really like Haley always have but I miss Leyton and I looked back and I can't believe it has been 5 months since she's been gone, I wish they would have at least for the Fans of the UA-cam channel explained briefly about what happened to her, such a beautiful and stunning young lady.
Kudos.....Kufir

Hope you have a nice Father's Day yesterday, Haley!

Thanks for watching! Yes, we get some very interesting cars.......and VANS ha ha
6.0 powered?
Wonder what the mpg is?
5mpg, 10mpg, 12 mpg? hehe
I don’t think there’s anything Halie couldn’t drive wow!
No kidding!! Haha thanks for watching
Don't touch anything under the hood, or you will immediately have issues. When 6.0s are running properly, they are good engines. But they can be sooo problematic. Just make sure you can quickly and easily remove the I terror dog house so you can work on your engine easier.
Work van turned camper van but $62,900? I do like the sound of the engine
Yeah, this is a unique one! Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love this van and one of my dream vehicles. I'm a HUGE van Guy. this is amazing indeed but yes DEF NOT "a camper van" by any standards and definitely wouldn't pay 62k. but do I love it and want it? hell yes. but just as an awesome vehicle, not a camper van. there's a million awesome camper vans, school bus home and motor home, box truck tiny home conversions etc.... wouldn't pay 60k+ for no water, solar, toilet, shower, fridge, stove etc.... love that it's Diesel though. that's the ONLY way to go. and I do love the cars this guy has in his channel. HIS videos and history info is great
@@scottrichmond3400 yes it's a used work truck converted and incomplete for camping. Like anyone sometimes you jump onto something and later regret your purchase. Only thing here is price, but probably paid too much for it. I also like this channel and the vehicles. Now if they had some 50's Cadillacs I'd be thrilled. Once I move I just may have one shipped south to me.
The front axle is worth 1200 tops & honestly no one wants that engine transmission combo it’s complete garbage especially when it’s completely wore out. I forgot about tires & wheels they are worth 800 at best but the rest needs to go to the crusher & a person will have to pay to have it crushed it’s so worthless!
Perfect for me ! Am 4’4
