Perfect example. I work on the ambulance and it can get nerve racking sometimes. Wondering what event might happen or trying to stay mentally prepared. It’s hard.
Yet, when we have a student riding out with us who is absolutely petrified, I notice I am at complete ease because now I have a different job to do, navigating them.

This is the second podcast I've watched with Dr. Peterson. What I enjoy most is seeing how genuinely interested Dr. Peterson is sharing experiences with his guests. As spectators and young people, take the time to really listen to the conversation. These behaviors and experiences are something we all can relate to. It's infectious watching how the conversation moves and evolves into the cause and effect of how we think and perceive as we relate to outside stimuli. Kudos to Dr. Peterson and his guests for providing real insight in bettering oneself.

Just thought about this myself: doing a podcast does come naturally to a person who has psychology degree and experience in a field where seeing patterns and listening are big part of career and patient success. Curiosity is a very necessary trait and passion for knowledge ofcourse as well. This makes the questions deeper and creates space where the guest can open up more. Stories that he himself shares have depth as well because of his personal experience and those of people he has treated.

@@kimjong-un8543 because 95% of ppl who love bodybuilding just train and eat better which makes them healthier. Why? 95% of people will never be geared up competetive bodybuilders because of genetics, their life situation, work ethic, time and so on. But they can follow the sport and parttake in it just like everyone. Sure the results aren't the same but they won't be in anything. Biggest difference is it is a lot easier to be a bodybuilding fan and bodybuild for yourself than it is to be a football fan and play football casually just due to sheer logistics of needing a bunch of ppl at once.

But I feel like doing it through bodybuilding (esp if you start because of someone like cbum) youll be far more likely to develop things like body image issues.
I think thats a bit besides the point though, because you said growing the sport, not just simply going to the gym, and I don't think the sport of bodybuilding is particularly healthy, even at the lower levels, im sure you agree with this point, but im looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Seen someone like Cbum been this open and vulnerable is refreshing. Specially when it comes to mental health and this hyper masculine that’s it’s been pushed, not saying it’s bad or good but this is something different to what male content is at rn. Good for Cbum

Living in the UK, I was not familiar with Chris Bumstead. He came across well, a really fine young man and I'm sure he will be a good father to his little girl due to be born in April. When I hear these two men talking about the joys and benefits of marriage, I do get a touch envious, having never walked down the aisle myself. An obvious thing about marriage as well is that it is two minds rather than one, two views of any potential problem, two possible solutions, the power of two in short. After nearly 20 years on my own, it does get a touch tedious having to make all the decisions and choices oneself the whole time. The love that should perhaps have been given to the husband and children I never had is instead put into creative activities these days, but of course that is all one-way, and is no substitute for a good stable marriage and raising children.

We have five children. I laughed when Dr Peterson talked about not knowing what to do with infants. That's exactly what my husband was like. It's built in women for good reason. We're the ones who nurture and care for an infant. He helped greatly with our older kids when I needed a rest. It's teamwork.

For me was scary when pain started to go away. For so many years whithout knowing what was wrong i put diferent meanings for the pain and interpreted realy out of any meaning what was going on.
Its funy it felt like panick atack but when i understood and memorized all the muscles on my body i begun to feel confident
