Its not hard to conclude that, because all one needs to do is go and watch his various debates and or interviews to see that it's extremely rare that JP interrupts anyone...it's quite the contrary, and it is JP who regularly gets interrupted, all the while JP simply stops speaking allowing the rude interruption to finish while remaining calm and composed.

Since I took this job at Steak ‘n Shake a year ago and got sober I have truly learned to be a people person by just trying when it came to customer service. I have become our best customer service person we have and was even promoted to customer service trainer before management. Been here for over a year now. In the beginning I thought I was above it and wanted bigger and better but learned to associate myself with the people I worked with, with the customers and see we are all just human beings trying to make it in life in some way. It takes effort but I learned to be kind, patient, and hardworking through the many 50+ hour weeks of working here. Will forever be thankful. I’ve finally learned to be a responsible young man. Obviously with many outside factors such as almost 2 years of consistent therapy and feeding myself content from individuals like Jordan Who just understand the struggle and know the way out. The resentment Ive had for society as a whole has gotten the better of me. I want to talk to Jordan Bernt Peterson. And ask him why I shouldn't want to kill my whole family random women. Random men. Why I shouldn't resent and keep developing this righteous malevolence because of what has happened to me. I need a good reason to not go out in an explosive way like Jordan Bernt Peterson said don't do it but I can't not do it. Im past being capable of not thinking about it. I have to think about it all the time. I'm inherently obsessed with sadism nihilism hedonism sadness depression malevolence sexual gore everything immoral and reprehensible. I've also masturbated to that stuff in a sexual way you'd want to kill yourself to and go out with a bang. What society did to me is always blamed on males not even white anymore only males and that's why there's mentally ill males who think they're females. Those males are disllosuoned with masculinity and what if means to be a true man. I've masturbated to sexual images so deplorable I don't understand how why shouldn't I kill innocent people who made my pshycopathy possible. I don't understand why they can't take responsibility. And then wonder why boys shoot up schools churches and concerts mass gatherings of humans. I would slaughter them all too but I don't know why but now that I'm not an innocent little boy I can't simply live as if nothing hasnt happened with the world. So I need to send a message to the bastard Rockefellers who supported feminism. And made males feminine by food contaminating water and everything socially. I'm Hispanic. I want to meet Jordan how that one Hispanic kid met Jordan and Tammy. Jordan helped that hispanic young man with the broken relationship with his father. I want the same restoration. But I think it's impossible. I'm an unjustifiable ticking time waiting to explode I'm so unforgiving.

My first challenge was to just move my toes which took over a year to see results then it was practicing standing with a walker and another year of practicing. 1% improvement was my goal, roughly 1% per month with extreme efforts to see. Fast forward since then, I’m past 4 years of no fentanyl or any opiates,I now travel the western states with my dog Tigger in our bus motorhome. We walk everyday and our record is 3.5 miles in a day. What you said is very profound. The healing of words. Word being the emphasis of your comment. Genesis starts out by saying “I am the Word and the Word is good.
It’s God revealing himself to us through his word. But God is living eternal, and his words also are living. Jordan Peterson psychoanalyzing scripture has impacted 10 of millions of people around the world and will continue to do so in future generations. Your statement is deeply connected to the book of Genesis , I hope that you’re Christian and you realize the profoundness of what you just stated it’s deeper than you realize. And that statement that you made may not have come from you. It could’ve come from the Holy Spirit, which is the love between God, the father and the son Jesus Christ that lives inside you if you accept Christ Jesus as the truth, the way, and the life and he is who he claim to be. It’s faith in Him.

If you've never done a live video, then you can't understand for one second what that is. And this man isn't doing a video, he's a living, breathing, human who thought about what he wanted to say to humans, who paid to hear him speak. The fact that he's not running off a script, but giving a literal piece of his soul to the people who paid to listen to him, just crazy. You go to a concert, these people are singing songs OVER AND OVER again, and that is beautiful, now imagine someone bearing their soul to you on the fly...I'm so excited by that.

I LOVE watching jordon Peterson when he relaxes and sits back and has a discussion with someone like Lex. Jordon has put himself, every part of himself, out there on the chopping block, allowing us to witness him deal with his emotions, the same emotions that most of us have but keep hidden, for good reason. Seeing someone who has led a righteous life with morals and dignity and love for his fellow human being experiencing some of the same sadness a lot of us have for whatever reason has only helped us believe that maybe we’re not the only ones that feel just f’ed up and that something must b wrong with me (us) and maybe we brought these feelings upon ourselves and how pathetic we must be with very little hope of experiencing anything happy and good anymore. It’s a bad place to be…but him exposing himself has been enough for me at least to really believe that the good times really aren’t over for good…we make our lives the way they are on a daily basis, and all it takes is to wake up on any given day and tell urself that this day is gonna b different. Better. When those negative thoughts are fighting to get out, u tell them to F off and purposely say something positive to counteract it and move past it and stay busy. Tomorrow will b easier to do what u did today. And I keep at it. His critics would never put themselves out there like he does, and that’s why we all love and respect the man, IMO.

I used to be so depressed that I could not get out of bed in the morning. I would open my eyes and I'd be absolutely frustrated to be spending another day as me.
What helped me personally was landing a job at a gas station. Not only did it give me purpose and structure, but handling customers came easy to me because I'm a naturally nice person so to say. Having those positive interactions with customers everyday ontop of gaining structure and an income, was what pulled me out.
Now that's not to say that I was immediately "healed", there were times and scenarios that threw me back down the hole.
What finally helped me get over depression completely, was questioning life. They very thing I thought I did every day during my depressed state. But I realized that's only half the story. I was questioning the point of everything, and found there was none. Fair enough. But I was still always clinging to the idea that that was somehow negative. That I have to have purpose and goals or else I will be unhappy. Or in other words "I can't be happy until this or that".
When that is your philosophy, don't except to ever be happy. Ever since realizing that I started to react to things and situations differently. Because I understand that it's fundamentally my choice wether to react to something positively or negatively.
We're going around reacting to everything, either positively or negatively. Then we try and force our life to only include the things that we react positively towards. Go figure.
Our lives don't need fixing, it's our attitudes.

I am going through my own discovery being a person of purpose is worth when all the things I once held as truths unravel as not truth I lost my footing. I put too much faith in the character of others. I’m a nice person too not feeling enough or as worthy as others even though you wouldn’t think that of me seeing me in life. But now I know how we are messing up the planet, animals , other people and I can’t fix it. Most people are ignorant to the facts because doing harmful things is making them money. Compassion for us who can’t change because it is too difficult. I’m vegan and have to use things that hurt our planet unfortunately. I live in nyc.

Feodor was also an anti-Semite but yet we can't tell it by reading books where he explicitly showed it. Why not you may ask? Because all the Russia was like that at that time. It could be that his publisher told him to put it in some texts to make the book more popular. Also good to know that Dostoevsky had schizophrenia, he was almost executed ones.

I waited for this episode for so long! Thank you, Lex, for providing a clear channel towards higher thinking. Thank you Jordan, for filling out the philosophical gaps of life with pieces of reality that you can literally touch and feel.
So many pieces of wisdom in this episode.
Some that stuck with me without any deep contemplation would be:
    1. If you say something long enough you start to believe it.
    2. What's the most real of what matters? Maybe pain. Love and truth are the only things you got when you only have pain. Love and truth seem to be the most real things.
    3. Meaning of life is the adventure along the route. Where do you find adventure? In faith. Faith in truth and love. If you don't make the commitment in faith a priori you cannot experience them fully.
    4. The inevitability of death can be used as fuel to act. Acting brings reactive rewards proportional to what you put out in the world, so it would be wise to put out the closest embodiment of what is good.

bruh. I love lex, and the only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't find lex til late 2022. Such an intelligent, fantastic, well-grounded person. He can literally interview anybody. He reminds me in many ways of the late Art Bell, who could literally interview anybody from a logical scientist to a crazy crack-pot and be able to navigate the conversation effortlessly, without hindering the person he's interviewing. And lex has an uncanny ability to realize that BECAUSE he's such a good listener and interviewer, that his guests who interrupt him ARE NOT DOING IT TO BE RUDE, its only that they've never gotten the chance to speak so freely before, so they word vomit sometimes.... so lex exercises a patience and understanding never before seen. Its like he KNOWS that he's providing people a truly safe space to speak their mind, and with that comes an excitement and consequence that they may accidentally talk over lex in the moment. Lex has an awareness rarely seen in a journalist. I'm so haapy I found this guy's work, just sad that it took so long to find.
