Will it clear and fit in a is300 ?????

Great video! The adapter clears the hood for the intake manifold but hits the throttle body. I’m looking to notch the hood support to clear the throttle body. I will keep you posted. Lowering the subframe messes with suspension geometry.
@@Brinks84 Keep me posted if notching the hood works for you. I just got a GTE mani and that adapter coming in. Saw this video too late. :/
If you get the cast greddy knock off upper it would work with the adapter.

I remember back in my 240sx days my buddy had put hockey pucks as motor mounts. It lowered the motor a good inch if I recall. But it shook the hole chassis and didn't really like it.. But can't wait to do a build with u man. Saving money !

Great video, I was thinking about this for my is300 but looks like I would have to make a custom hood, hopefully somebody will just make an adapter that works for the is300 and a exhaust adapter would be great to for using gte log manifolds.
There's an exhaust adapter to mount oem gte twin turbo onto a ge, I'm sure you can use that adapter and use any gte header instead of the oem gte twin turbo.
You should do a video of the DoDo Racing lower intake runner adapter to allow GTE intake manifold on the IS300!!

I do, i just installed this and it’s the same issue. I’m going to try to get some hood spacers
Cut the skeleton under the hood and add ek civic spacers and it will clear the is300!!

@@SidewaysPerformance I’ve seen people run the GTE intake manifolds on both is300/gs300 the only thing is tho they said to cut the skeletal structure on the hood

Did you try resting a hood on there to see if it would clear? Looks close to me but video can be deceiving . I also feel the is 300 has a natural curve for the hood in that area so another reason why I’m curious

Hi u seem knowledge don’t know if u would know so I’m doing an nat on my is300 2001 I’m running aristo ecu and aristo harness and I’m having a hard time on figuring out wiring to make it run all I can find is info on the 02 and up or 1jz witch I was told is the same harness but is not if u have any info or video that u know of it would be greatly appreciated

The issue with that bro is now you’re going to be having it sit below the swaybar and then it’s either going to hit the oil pan or if that’s not the case you may or may not end up scraping your oil pan or putting a hole in your oil pan based on how low your car is the whole point of this was supposed to be a cheap option for people to be able to have a simple solution to their NAT build once we start adding more parts in the mix if he comes more of a financial burden And most people will be driven away from not even purchasing this and it’s going a different route that has better fitment

It’s not ideal tho it’s supposed to be a direct pnp install u feel me once it it’s starts to get more and more intricate and expensive no one will want it
