I was very depressed at my job in 2016. I was also a huge fan of The Office. I wished I loved my job as much as Michael and Dwight. I started pretending I did, focused on the positive aspects instead of the negative, and it completely changed my outlook and happiness.

I did not know its NASCAR history but you showed it at the end of your special and I really appreciate that as my father passed away nearly 10 years ago. You can tell exactly when he dropped the comedian face. Gave out his heartfelt life advice and then went right back to comedy and this time it had no where to go. He was just having a good time. The fact that he said he did his bit and now just joking around. Made me have a good time.

So much so, I took an early retirement and walked away from $50K per year, made adjustments in my life to be able to live comfortably off lesser fixed income, eliminating stress, doing volunteer work, and simply enjoying life with my wife. P.S. I also lived in a trailer park for a while when I was a kid ;)

Netflix special brought me here. 80 percent of the jokes from the special was in this talk with a couple of minutes of what I would call behind the scenes of his story as a comedian. Overall I enjoyed this Ted talk and I’m off to find the lady that poops at David’s bridal.
Dusty has a lot more material than what is in this video. He is a solid comic that is going to be around for a long time. I can't wait until they give him a movie.
It's a ted talk style talk not normal comedy routine, the point of it is to deliver a good message of life to help others find a good mindset, dusty did throw jokes but his message was to always look for something to be happy in always cause we're having a good time🤙🏼

At 15:41 when you say “that feels like I really hit a point there.” Was amazing 😂😂😂 I was gut laughing at that. So good. Push through all the awkward, reminding people you have a point to this, and then hit that profound banger of a line. Then to comment on it and be proud of that line out loud is hilarious. The part that’s funny is that he actually did make a good point, as a fan of his I can understand his method of delivering said point. If that crowd had never seen him before (obviously not) they’re not going to pick up on the fact that he’s actually being positive lol
